7DS Grand Cross Knighthood Guide: Bosses, Coins & Perks

A Knighthood in 7DS Grand Cross is the game's guild system, and it quietly pays three separate wages: a free daily Diamond when enough members check in, Knighthood Coins from the weekly boss, and permanent account-wide perks bought with the guild's own level. Joining a busy one is the cheapest upgrade in the game. We cover 7DS Grand Cross Servers Explained separately.

Most players tap the Knighthood banner once during the tutorial stretch, accept whatever open guild the list offers first, and never look at the menu again. Months later they are still in it, still collecting nothing, while a friend on a similar roster is quietly ahead on Evolution Pendants and awakening materials for no extra Stamina at all. That gap is not luck and it is not spending. It is attendance, and it belongs to the guild you happen to be standing in.

This guide is written for both ends of the roster. If you are new, it explains what each Knighthood feature actually does and in what order to care about it. If you have played for a while, it focuses on the part most veterans still underuse: reading a Knighthood's activity before you commit to it, and treating the weekly boss as a fixed appointment rather than something you get to when you remember.

⚔️ What is a Knighthood in 7DS Grand Cross?

A Knighthood is Grand Cross's guild: a member group you join from the Knighthood building in the West District of Liones. It bundles a daily attendance reward, a weekly cooperative boss, its own shop currency, and a set of guild-level perks that apply to every member's account.

The important structural point is that a Knighthood is not a side activity with its own separate progression track. Everything it hands out feeds the systems you already care about. The Diamonds go to the same banners your daily quests fund, the Coins buy the same evolution and awakening materials that gate your Combat Class, and the perks apply passively while you farm anything else. Because none of that competes with your normal routine, guild output is effectively free progression layered on top of whatever you were already doing.

That framing matters for how you should judge the system. You are not asking whether Knighthood content is fun or whether the boss fight is challenging, since neither answer changes your account. You are asking how much material a given guild converts per week, which is a question about the people in it rather than about the feature itself.

🚪 How do you join or create a Knighthood?

Open the Knighthood building in the West District and use the search or recommended list. Guilds are set to open join, application-only, or invite-only; open ones admit you instantly, while application guilds hold you until a Master or Sub-Master approves. Creating your own costs Gold and unlocks after early story progress.

The search screen is the part worth slowing down on, because it exposes the two numbers that decide everything: current member count and the guild's level. A guild sitting well below its member cap is usually shedding players rather than recruiting them, and a low level after a long life means its members have not been donating or clearing content. Neither number is hidden, yet the recommended list happily surfaces half-dead guilds because it sorts by availability rather than by health.

Creating your own Knighthood is the right call only in one situation: you already have a group of active players ready to move in together. A guild you found alone starts at level 1 with no perks, no boss clear history, and no realistic path to the check-in threshold described below, so the first months are strictly worse than joining an established one. If you do create it, the Gold cost is trivial next to the opportunity cost of the rewards you are giving up while it fills.

Leaving carries a cooldown before you can join another Knighthood, which is the game's way of discouraging players from hopping guilds to farm one-time bonuses. Plan the move rather than improvising it, because a badly timed exit can cost you a weekly boss cycle in both the guild you left and the one you are trying to enter.

📅 What does the daily check-in actually pay?

Check-in is a single tap on the Knighthood screen. It contributes to the guild's daily attendance count, and once enough members have checked in on the same day, the whole Knighthood is paid a Diamond. Miss the threshold and nobody in the guild receives it, no matter how loyally you tapped.

This is the clearest example of why membership quality outranks membership itself. Your own tap is worth nothing on its own; it is worth a Diamond only when a large share of the roster taps as well, which means the reward is a property of the group rather than of your discipline. A guild that reliably clears the threshold pays out roughly a Diamond a day, and across the long stretch between banners you actually want, that trickle is a meaningful fraction of a multi-draw.

The practical test takes about a week. Check in daily and watch whether the Diamond lands. If it fails more often than it succeeds, the guild is below its threshold and no amount of your own consistency will fix it, because you are one attendance slot among many. Treat two dry weeks as your signal to move rather than as bad luck, since the same members will be equally absent next month. 🐉 How does the weekly Knighthood Boss work?

The Knighthood Boss is a cooperative fight against a shared enemy with a large health pool, run on a weekly cycle. It costs no Stamina, which is the single most important fact about it. Members attack with limited attempts, damage is pooled, and rewards scale with both your personal contribution and the guild's overall result.

Because the boss spends no Stamina, it never competes with farming. There is no scenario where clearing your boss attempts costs you a Fort Solgres run or an event stage, so skipping it is a pure loss with nothing gained on the other side. That is why the boss deserves a fixed slot in your week rather than a spot on a mental list of things to get around to.

Contribution rewards mean your own damage matters, but the guild-wide tier means the roster around you matters more. A team assembled for raw damage against the boss's element will out-earn a team you happen to have levelled, so it is worth keeping one dedicated damage setup rather than reusing your general-purpose clear team. Ultimate move levels and gear awakening move the needle here far more than adding another mid-tier body to the lineup, because the fight rewards concentrated damage rather than survivability.

The cycle resets weekly, and unspent attempts do not carry over. If you know you will be away, spend them early in the window; there is no catch-up mechanic and the boss will not wait.

🪙 What can you buy with Knighthood Coins?

Knighthood Coins are the currency the boss and guild activity pay out, and they spend in the Knighthood shop. The stock leans toward progression materials rather than cosmetics: evolution and awakening items, enhancement materials, and consumables that would otherwise pull Diamonds or Gold out of your budget.

The reason this shop matters more than its modest appearance suggests is substitution. Every Evolution Pendant or awakening material you take out of the Knighthood shop is one you did not buy with Diamonds and did not farm with Stamina, so the coins are effectively converting a free weekly boss fight into both of your scarce currencies at once. Players who ignore the shop routinely end up spending Diamonds on materials they were already earning.

Spend priority follows your bottleneck rather than the shop layout. If your Combat Class is stalling on evolution materials for a specific hero grade, clear that line first and leave the general consumables. If you are gear-limited instead, the awakening side of the stock is the better conversion. Refresh cycles restock the shop, so treat a strong week as a chance to bank materials for the hero you are about to push rather than spreading coins thinly across everything on offer.

📈 How does a Knighthood level up, and what do perks do?

A Knighthood gains levels through member activity and donations, and its level unlocks guild perks that apply to every member. Perks are passive account-wide bonuses along the lines of improved rewards and progression rates, so they work continuously in the background without any input from you once unlocked.

Donations are the lever individual members can pull, and they are usually the best Gold sink available to a mid-game account because the return is permanent and shared. The catch is that donations only compound when everyone donates, which returns to the same theme as check-in: guild systems in Grand Cross are deliberately built so that individual effort scales with collective participation, not against it.

For a newer player, this is the strongest argument for joining a mature guild over a fresh one. A high-level Knighthood hands you perks that took a hundred other players months of donations to unlock, immediately, on day one. You inherit that progress simply by being admitted, which is why the application-only guilds that actually vet members are worth the extra step rather than something to avoid.

👑 What do the Master and Sub-Master ranks control?

A Knighthood has a Master, one or more Sub-Masters, and ordinary members. The leadership ranks control admissions, kicks, the join setting, the guild notice, and the administrative side of boss and event participation. Ordinary members contribute and collect but cannot change how the guild is run.

The hierarchy is worth understanding before you join, because an absent Master is a specific and common failure mode. If the Master stops logging in and no Sub-Master has the authority to admit new players, the guild slowly bleeds members with no way to replace them, and the check-in threshold quietly becomes unreachable. From the inside this looks like the rewards drying up for no reason.

If you are running a Knighthood yourself, the fix is structural rather than social: appoint enough Sub-Masters that admissions never depend on one person's schedule, and set a clear inactivity rule in the notice so removals feel like policy instead of a personal decision. Guilds that survive long enough to reach high perk levels almost always have that redundancy in place.

🔍 How do you tell an active Knighthood from a dead one?

Read three signals before committing: member count against the cap, guild level relative to how long it has existed, and whether the daily Diamond actually arrives during your first week. Those three together tell you more than any recruitment notice, because they measure behaviour rather than intentions.

A guild near its member cap with a high level is converting participation into rewards, which is the only outcome that matters to your account. A half-empty guild with a proud notice is telling you what it wants to be. The gap between those two is where most players lose months of free materials without ever noticing, since nothing in the interface warns you that your guild has stopped paying.

Once you are in, the maintenance check is small. Confirm the Diamond lands, confirm the boss is being cleared rather than left half-damaged at reset, and confirm the shop stock is moving. Any one of those failing for two consecutive weeks is enough evidence to look elsewhere, and because the only cost of leaving is a cooldown, the decision is far cheaper than the rewards you lose by staying out of politeness.

🧭 Where does the Knighthood fit into a weekly routine?

Knighthood upkeep is roughly one tap a day plus one focused session a week. Check in every time you log in, donate whatever Gold you can spare when you have it, and spend your full boss attempts inside the weekly window. None of it touches Stamina, so it slots around your existing farming rather than into it.

Ordering matters slightly. Check in first, before anything else, because it is the only reward whose value depends on a shared daily deadline that you cannot influence later in the day. Boss attempts come next in priority, ideally early in the cycle so a missed evening does not cost you the whole week. Donations are last, since Gold is fungible and a delayed donation loses nothing.

Everything the Knighthood produces ends up in the same place: a stronger, more valuable account. Guild perks, banked evolution materials and a steady Diamond trickle all show up eventually as Combat Class, and that is the number every other part of Grand Cross reads. If you want the full picture of how those pieces stack into account strength, the 7DS Grand Cross account progression guide covers how heroes, grade and gear compound, and the complete 7DS Grand Cross beginner's guide maps where the guild sits among the game's other daily systems.

❓ Common questions about Knighthoods in Grand Cross

Can you be in more than one Knighthood at a time? No. Membership is exclusive, and joining a new guild requires leaving your current one first, which triggers the rejoin cooldown.

Do you lose Knighthood Coins when you leave? Coins already earned stay in your inventory, but your contribution history and any pending guild-tier rewards from the current cycle do not follow you. That is the main reason to time a move for just after a boss cycle closes rather than in the middle of one.

Is the Knighthood Boss worth doing on a weak account? Yes, because it costs no Stamina and pays contribution rewards for damage dealt rather than for clearing. Even modest damage returns Coins you would otherwise farm, so there is no account too small to benefit.

Does the daily Diamond depend on my own check-in only? No. Your tap contributes to a guild-wide attendance count, and the reward is paid only when enough members check in on the same day. This is why an active roster is worth more than personal consistency.

How long should you give a new Knighthood before judging it? Two weeks is enough. One week can be distorted by a holiday or an event lull, but two consecutive weeks of missed Diamonds or an uncleared boss is a pattern rather than an accident.
