How Many Primogems Does the Genshin Daily Check-In Give?
By Sir Ayup
The Genshin daily check-in is a free reward calendar on HoYoLAB, HoYoverse's community site, that hands out Primogems, Mora, Fine Enhancement Ore, Hero's Wit and other materials just for clicking once a day. It runs outside the game, on the HoYoLAB website or app, and the rewards land in your in-game mail. Over a full month it adds 60 Primogems and 44,000 Mora, small amounts that add up over time.
This guide from gamemarket.gg explains how to claim the check-in on the web and the app, what each month's calendar contains, how make-up days work, and how much the check-in really adds compared with other free sources.
How to Claim the Genshin Daily Check-In
The check-in only needs your HoYoverse account, linked to the same Genshin account you play on:
- Log in to HoYoLAB on the website or in the HoYoLAB app, using your HoYoverse account.
- Open the Daily Check-In page from the Genshin section of HoYoLAB.
- Click the highlighted reward for the day and confirm.
- Open your in-game mail to collect it.
You can check in once per day. PlayStation players cannot check in from the console itself and need a phone or PC browser, but the rewards still arrive in the same account once it is linked.
What the Monthly Calendar Gives
The calendar repeats every month and covers 28 days. Across those days, it gives:
- Primogems: 20 on days 4, 11 and 18, for 60 per month.
- Mora: 5,000 on four days and 8,000 on three days, for 44,000 per month.
- Fine Enhancement Ore: 16 in total, for weapon EXP.
- Adventurer's Experience and Hero's Wit: character EXP books spread across the month, including 6 Hero's Wit near the end.
- Food: small batches of healing and buff dishes such as Sweet Madame and Almond Tofu.
All the Primogems arrive in the first 18 days, so a player who only checks in during the first half of the month still collects the full Primogem total.
Missed a Day? Make-Ups Help
Missing a day does not reset your progress; the calendar simply picks up at the next reward. HoYoLAB also allows up to three make-up check-ins per month, unlocked by completing small tasks on the site such as visiting event pages or the interactive map.
Rewards in in-game mail do not last forever. Mail items are generally valid for around 30 days, so collecting them regularly keeps the check-in from going to waste.
How Much the Check-In Really Adds
Sixty Primogems a month is less than half a wish, so the check-in will never fund a banner on its own. Over a full year, though, it adds 720 Primogems, about four and a half wishes, plus enough Mora and EXP to level a character without extra farming.
Compared with paid options, the gap is clear. The Blessing of the Welkin Moon gives 90 Primogems every day, while the check-in gives 60 across a whole month. The check-in works best as one small piece of a routine that also includes Daily Commissions, events and endgame modes.
Making the Most of Free Rewards
Free Primogems matter most when you know where they go. Planning pulls around pity and the 50/50 helps the check-in's small totals count, while the Hero's Wit and Mora feed straight into Adventure Rank and character progress. Newer players can also use the Genshin Impact beginner's guide to see where daily rewards fit alongside the rest of the game.
If you would rather skip the grind, you can browse Genshin Impact Accounts with progress already done, hand dailies, Resin and check-ins to a verified player through Genshin Impact Hourly Services, or order fixed goals with Genshin Impact Boosting.
