7DS Grand Cross Farming Guide: Efficient Ways to Progress

Efficient farming in The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross means spending every point of stamina, every key, and every daily reset on the resources that actually raise your Combat Class, rather than grinding at random. The fastest way to progress is to farm awakening materials and gold during half-stamina events, clear your daily reset chores without fail, and pour gear and PvP rewards into your main heroes first. We cover 7DS Grand Cross Awakening Guide separately.

If you are still learning the systems this routine assumes, start with our 7DS Grand Cross beginner's guide to heroes, Diamonds and teams, then come back here to build your farming schedule.

What does "farming" actually mean in Grand Cross?

Farming in Grand Cross is the repeated clearing of stamina-gated stages to collect the materials that permanently strengthen your heroes: awakening components, gold, gear, and the currencies behind summons. Progress is not skill-gated so much as attendance-gated, so efficient farming is really about routing limited resources toward the biggest power gains.

Almost every power system on your account is permanent and material-hungry. A hero grows through leveling, evolution, six stages of Awakening, Ultimate Move upgrades, and gear, and each of those pulls from a different farmable pool. Because the game hands out stamina faster than a casual schedule can spend it, the real question is never "can I farm this," but "which farm converts my time into the most Combat Class right now." Getting that routing right is what separates an account that climbs steadily from one that burns hundreds of runs on materials it does not need. The rest of this guide breaks the farm down system by system, starting with the meter that governs all of it.

How does stamina work, and how do you stop wasting it?

Stamina is the currency behind every repeatable farm, and it refills whether you spend it or not, so the cardinal rule is to never sit at your cap. Your maximum rises with player rank, reaching 109 at rank 100, and Stamina Recovery Potions let you keep farming well past that ceiling once you have stockpiled them.

The waste comes from overflow: any stamina that regenerates while you are already capped is simply lost, which over a week is enough materials to awaken a hero. Two habits fix this. First, log in at each natural refill and dump the surplus into whatever stage you are farming, even if it is just a few runs. Second, hoard Stamina Recovery Potions from daily quests, the Coin Shop, and friendship coins, then unload them in bulk during half-stamina events when each run costs half as much. Grand Cross also lets you automate the grind: set Auto Repeat to "No Restriction" with potion use enabled, and the account will farm a chosen stage until both stamina and potions are exhausted, which is how experienced players run overnight sessions. Treating stamina as a perishable resource rather than a bank balance is the single highest-value habit in the whole farm, and our 7DS Grand Cross stamina guide to daily tasks, resets and refill timing lays out that schedule hour by hour.

How do you farm awakening materials efficiently?

Awakening materials come primarily from Boss Battles and Free Stage events, and the efficient loop is to farm them heavily during half-stamina windows and let auto-repeat carry the load. A hero can be awakened up to six times, and a 6/6 unit is dramatically stronger than the same hero at 2/6, so these materials are the classic long-term time sink.

The materials split by rarity and source. Basic components such as Wind Feathers and Sharp Horns drop from Bronze boxes and appear widely across free stages, while the essential higher-tier materials come from Silver and Gold boxes in Boss Battles. Two specific chalices, the Water of Life and Demon's Blood, drop only from Boss Battles, so those runs are non-negotiable if you want to finish a hero's awakening. Because the drops are random and the stages are cheap on auto, the smart move is to schedule your heaviest awakening farm to coincide with a half-stamina event and leave Auto Repeat running, ideally overnight, so a single session can bank days of materials.

Access to those farming zones is itself something you unlock, which trips up a lot of newer players. Each chapter's farming areas open only as you raise your friendship level with the corresponding town by completing its village quests, so clearing story and village content early is what widens the pool of materials you can farm at all. Prioritize awakening the heroes you actually field in PvP and your main PvE teams first; spreading materials thin across your whole roster feels productive but delays the power spikes that let you clear harder content. As you push into mid-game, take advantage of every half-stamina event you can, because your stamina reserves will be lower relative to how much the account now wants to consume.

What is the most efficient way to farm gold?

Gold is drained constantly by evolution, limit-breaking, and gear enhancement, and the two best sources are your Gold SP Dungeon Keys and red-book farming in the Evolve dungeons. Keys regenerate over time and cap at ten, so the rule mirrors stamina: never let them sit full, or you waste the overflow.

The SP Dungeon is the direct route. Spend Gold Keys there whenever they approach the cap, and top up extra keys with silver coins and friendship points from the shop if you are actively grinding. The higher-throughput method, though, is red-book farming: the Evolve dungeons do not drop gold chests, but they pour out Grimoires (the "red books") which you then sell from your inventory in a village for more gold per stamina than most gold stages offer, and they do not consume special keys. A well-known efficient team for this is SR Guila, SSR Howzer, SSR Gowther, and SSR Merlin as a sub, farming the Strength Evolve dungeon; run it while the relevant half-stamina event is active and you can auto-farm books overnight, then batch-sell them the next morning. Between the two, keys are your steady daily income and red books are your bulk push when you need a large gold injection for a round of evolutions or gear rolls. Keeping both flowing means gold rarely becomes the bottleneck that stalls your progression. There is a fuller breakdown in 7DS Grand Cross Demonic Beast Guide.

Gold deserves a deeper routing plan than one section allows: our 7DS Grand Cross gold farming guide breaks down every source, the best red-book teams, and what each method actually returns per stamina.

What should your daily farming routine look like?

A tight daily routine is worth more than any single marathon session, because Grand Cross front-loads its best rewards into reset-based chores that expire each day. A clean loop takes only a few minutes: run your first PvP match, set and claim Patrol, tend the World Tree, clear at least one Boss Battle, run Fort Solgres, and collect your reset rewards.

The reason cadence beats volume is that most guaranteed progression is capped per day, not per hour. Daily quests hand out Diamonds, Stamina Recovery Potions, and gold; Golden Keys and SP Dungeon keys refill on a timer and are lost if you overflow them; and the Vaizel Fight Festival and PvP reward you on a weekly rank that only climbs if you show up. A practical checklist is to clear the daily quest log, spend your Golden Keys, send and collect friend gifts for friendship coins, claim your Brawl and Hawk pass rewards, run your PvP entries, and finish any daily missions that grant Diamonds. Completing the full daily mission set reliably yields around four Diamonds a day, rising to six during celebration periods, which alone adds up to roughly 28 to 42 Diamonds a week without spending a cent. Missing a day does not just cost that day's rewards; it also breaks the weekly rhythms that pay the largest bonuses, which is why upkeep is the backbone of efficient progression.

How do you farm Diamonds as a free-to-play player?

Diamonds are the premium summon currency, and while you cannot grind them like gold, a disciplined free-to-play player still banks hundreds a month from daily missions, PvP ranking, story completion, and events. The largest single source is your weekly PvP finish, which dwarfs most other income.

The stacking sources are straightforward. Daily login rewards and daily quests provide a steady drip; completing a story chapter to 100 percent grants a one-time 30 Diamonds, effectively a free 11x summon per chapter; and events and login campaigns top it up further. PvP is where the volume lives: the higher your weekly tier, the larger the Diamond payout, and reaching Gold 3 alone secures 30 Diamonds, enough for a free 11x draw, with higher tiers paying more. The Vaizel Fight Festival distributes Diamonds and Equipment Draw boxes weekly based on your rank, so entering it with every ticket you hold is essentially free currency and free gear rolls. The takeaway for a free-to-play account is that Diamonds reward consistency rather than grinding intensity: play your dailies, contest PvP each week even when you lose the odd match, and clear new story content once, and the summon currency accumulates on its own.

What is the fastest way to raise your Combat Class?

Combat Class is the single number that summarizes a hero's strength, and it is computed from basic level, Awakening, Ultimate Move level, equipment, and costume combined. The fastest lever is almost always gear, because a well-rolled set delivers a larger single CC jump than the same investment in awakening does.

That gear priority reshapes how you farm. Awakening and leveling are essential and should proceed whenever you have the materials, but if your goal is to clear a wall of content quickly, farming and enhancing better equipment usually moves the needle harder, and starter gear is cheap to farm early on. To raise your account Combat Class efficiently, bring your core heroes to UR level 60 as a baseline, then push the ones you actually rely on to UR level 80 once materials allow, rather than half-upgrading dozens of units. Ultimate Move levels and costumes contribute too, so do not ignore them, but sequence your farm around the biggest returns: gear first for raw power, awakening for durability and scaling, then levels and Ultimate ranks to round a hero out. When you enhance gear, pay attention to the substats rather than just the main stat, since a set rolled toward the attributes your hero actually uses, such as attack and critical stats on a damage dealer, converts into far more effective Combat Class than a mismatched set at the same enhancement level. Concentrating this investment on a small, effective roster clears content faster than spreading it across every hero you own, and clearing content faster is what unlocks the next tier of farm.

If your goal is climbing the PvP ladder rather than raw Combat Class, the 7DS Grand Cross rank up guide covers team composition, seasonal timing, and the fastest routes up the ranks.

How do you get the most from events and collaborations?

Events are the highest-value farming windows in the game, and the two that matter most are half-stamina events for materials and limited collaboration or festival events for exclusive heroes and currency. The rule is to front-load your stockpiled stamina and potions into these windows rather than spending them on ordinary days.

Half-stamina events effectively double your farm, so this is when hoarded Stamina Recovery Potions and pending awakening or red-book grinds should all come out at once, ideally on overnight auto-repeat. Collaboration and festival events run on a different logic: they introduce time-limited heroes and event shops whose currency you grind from event stages before the shop closes. These events run for a fixed period, and while some collaborations have returned through reruns, a rerun is never guaranteed, so the value is in not missing the current window rather than assuming a second chance. During any such event, point a heavy farming session at the event currency early, clear the shop's priority items, and keep your normal dailies running so you do not sacrifice steady progression for the temporary grind. Players who treat events as their primary farming calendar, rather than farming evenly all month, consistently out-progress those who ignore the schedule, because the same stamina simply buys more when the event multipliers are live.
