MLBB 10th Anniversary Starward Decade: Free Layla Skin & Event Guide
By Sir Ayup 14 October 2026, 02:00 WIB
The MLBB 10th Anniversary celebration, "Starward Decade," has reached one of its most popular events: Layla's Stellar Gala, which gives away the Layla "Prismatic Rhythm" skin for free. The event runs from October 9 to November 19, 2026, and you do not need to spend a single Diamond. At gamemarket.gg, we put together how to earn the skin step by step, how the Starfall Breakout mini-game fits in and every other free anniversary skin you can still claim before the deadlines pass.
Layla's Stellar Gala at a Glance
- Free skin: Layla "Prismatic Rhythm"
- Event: Layla's Stellar Gala
- Period: October 9 to November 19, 2026
- Cost: free, no Diamonds required
- Key currency: Stellar Cores
- Mini-game: Starfall Breakout
Some guides describe Prismatic Rhythm as a Collector-tier skin, but the official English announcement does not state its tier, so check the in-game preview for the final details.
How to Get the Free Layla Skin
Layla's Prismatic Rhythm is unlocked by collecting Stellar Cores. Here is how to earn them:
- Open the 10th Anniversary event page and find the Free Layla Collector tab in the left-side menu.
- Complete event tasks through the Tasks button on the lower right. Each task reward can be claimed once.
- Play Starfall Breakout every day for regular Stellar Core income.
- Earn weekly ranking rewards in Starfall Breakout.
- Find collectibles in Starfall Breakout to unlock milestone rewards.
- Claim everything before the event ends on November 19.
The exact number of Stellar Cores needed is shown on the event page. Since several sources reward daily play, logging in regularly is the easiest way to get there without rushing at the end.
Starfall Breakout: The Key to Stellar Cores
Starfall Breakout is the mini-game at the centre of Layla's Stellar Gala. It feeds Stellar Cores through three channels:
- Daily play, which rewards consistent logins
- Weekly rankings, which reward higher scores
- Collectibles, which unlock milestone rewards
Playing a few rounds every day is far more efficient than trying to grind everything in the final week, especially since weekly ranking rewards only come once per week.
Every Free 10th Anniversary Skin Still Available
Layla is not the only free skin this anniversary. Here is what you can still claim, ordered by deadline:
- Chou "Starforger's Glory": complete the Skin Jigsaw Puzzle board. Ends October 25.
- Nana "Stardust Dreamer" (Epic): from the 10th Anniversary Celebration Pass, which also includes an Epic Skin Selection Chest and a Random Epic Skin Chest. Ends November 1.
- Layla "Prismatic Rhythm": from Layla's Stellar Gala. Ends November 19.
- Popol and Kupa "Flamehide Thane" and the "Starward Decade" avatar border: earned by completing ranked matches during Season 42.
If you missed the earlier Anniversary Gala Weekend, where players could choose one permanent skin from a large pool, our 10th Anniversary Gala Weekend guide covers how that event worked.
Season 42: Starward Decade
The anniversary is tied to Season 42, "Starward Decade," which began on September 16. It brought a major gameplay refresh:
- Eight hero revamps: Masha, Bruno, Brody, Kadita, Badang, Clint, Paquito and Luo Yi.
- Sanctum Island overhaul, with new map effects such as Golden Turrets and a Healing Turtle.
Our breakdown of how revamped Masha became the deadliest brawler and our guide to the MLBB map overhaul explain what changed. For paid skins arriving this month, our October 2026 skin recap lists everything coming to the shop.
Stay Safe While Claiming Free Skins
Free skin events attract scams every year. Keep these rules in mind:
- Only claim rewards through the in-game Events tab.
- Never share your password. Official top-ups only need your User ID and Zone ID.
- Ignore websites or posts promising early access or "instant" free skins in exchange for your login.
Your 10th Anniversary Free Skin Checklist
- Finish the Skin Jigsaw Puzzle for Chou before October 25.
- Complete the Celebration Pass for Nana before November 1.
- Play Starfall Breakout daily to collect Stellar Cores for Layla.
- Claim Layla's Prismatic Rhythm before November 19.
- Play ranked matches in Season 42 for the Popol and Kupa skin and avatar border.
- Claim everything through the Events tab only.
MLBB's 10th Anniversary is one of the most generous celebrations the game has had, and Layla's Stellar Gala gives every player a free skin for one of the game's most iconic heroes. Play a little every day and you will have Prismatic Rhythm well before the deadline.
