MLBB October 2026: A Full Recap of Every Upcoming Skin

October is the busiest cosmetic month of MLBB's year, because the 10th Anniversary celebration peaks in it. Between the monthly Starlight and Collector drops, three separate free-skin routes, a new Aspirants banner, a design-contest skin and a Zodiac resale, there are more claim routes than any single event page shows — and they run on different currencies and deadlines. This is the full October 2026 calendar in one place, with the official releases separated from what is still circulating as a leak, and a note on which ones cost nothing.

October 1: Starlight and Collector

The month opens with the two recurring monthly drops.

Hayabusa "Kitsune's Shadow" is the October Starlight Pass skin, at the usual 300 Diamonds. Moonton bills it as the first Starlight skin with exclusive skill sound effects, which is what sets it apart from a normal monthly Starlight. There is also a bonus painted skin, Hayabusa "Kitsune's Phantom", at 100 Diamonds. If you don't play Hayabusa, the SFX novelty is not a reason on its own to buy the pass.

Sun "Celestial Rebel" is October's Collector skin, part of the Titans mecha line, running through the Exquisite Collection draw all month. The draw uses cumulative Regal Coins to cap the RNG, and duplicates convert back to coins by tier, so it is not open-ended — but it is still a draw, not a fixed price.

October 9: the anniversary peak

Two releases land on the anniversary's peak date.

Layla "Prismatic Rhythm" is the headline of the whole celebration: a Collector-tier skin, the game's top cosmetic tier, given away for free. It is not in the paid Exquisite pool and not tied to a battle pass. It is earned through Layla's Stellar Gala mini-game by reaching 360 points on the reward track. Getting a Collector skin for free almost never happens in MLBB, which makes this the single most valuable thing on the October calendar for most players — and the one to prioritize, because it costs only time.

Aspirants 5.0 brings new skins for Selena and Obsidia, confirmed for the anniversary window with the same Aspirants draw structure and a 250-Diamond top-up mission feeding the token track. The banner gives one of the two at random per draw, so the first 10x is not a guaranteed pick of either. The names circulating — Selena "Silverbolt Raiko" and Obsidia "Imperatrix Arashi" — are community names and lock officially only when the banner tile appears. Obsidia is the notable inclusion: she released in September 2025, so this is a quick Aspirants appearance for a young hero.

The free skin routes worth planning around

Beyond Layla's Collector, October has two more events that hand out skins for effort rather than Diamonds, and both sit behind quest panels rather than the shop.

Anniversary Weekend Gala (October 9–11). Complete two solo matches, or one with a friend, to choose 1 skin out of a pool of 265 — including Epic-tier skins. It is a three-day window tied to the anniversary peak and does not carry to month's end; the matches must be played that weekend. Decide which skin you want before the panel opens, because a free Epic pick is easy to waste on an impulse choice.

Free Random Special Skin (October 16 – November 8). Complete quests to earn a free 10th-Anniversary Random Special Skin box, with named pool examples such as Beatrix "Vibrant Fiesta" and Gloo "Jellyman". The reward is a random box rather than a chosen skin, so value depends on the pool, but the entry cost is quests, not currency. It runs nearly four weeks into November, making it the least time-pressured free route.

With Layla's Stellar Gala, that is three free-skin tracks in one month.

October 16: the design-contest skin

Zilong "Ascendant of Flame" arrives mid-month, tied to a 200-Diamond coupon on the same anniversary top-up mission that feeds the Aspirants tokens. It is a design-contest skin rather than a Starlight or Collector, so it sits outside the two monthly draw systems, and the coupon makes it cheaper if you were already doing the mission for the tokens.

Still running from September

Two free anniversary skins that started in September remain claimable into October. Nana "Stardust Dreamer" (Epic) runs through the Anniversary Battle Pass into early November; Chou "Starforger's Glory" (Special) is earned through the Skin Jigsaw Puzzle to late October. Both expire, so clear them alongside the other free tracks.

October 23: the Zodiac resale

Helcurt "Scorpio" returns as a Zodiac resale. Zodiac skins rotate back on a schedule tied to their sign, and Scorpio's window is late October — a second chance rather than a new release, buyable again for anyone who missed it.

Supply Premium windows

Two Supply Premium periods run in the back half of the month: Phase 1 on October 16–20 and Phase 2 on October 23–27. They overlap the Zilong coupon and the Helcurt resale, so the last two weeks are where most of the month's Diamond spending clusters. Plan the draws you want before these open.

What's confirmed versus what's still a leak

Almost everything above is official — the dates, heroes, events and claim routes all come from Moonton announcements and in-game event structures. The one caveat: Selena and Obsidia's skin names are community names until the banner tile confirms them. The banner is confirmed; the exact titles are not. Any tier list or "best skin" ranking published before release is opinion, not Moonton information.

• The exact skin names for Aspirants 5.0, pending the in-game banner.
• The precise Diamond cost of the Exquisite Collection for Sun, which varies by draw luck and Regal Coin balance.
• Whether October's Starlight includes an emote. The preview doesn't show one; treat it as possible but unconfirmed.

What to do

• Start Layla's Stellar Gala on October 9. The free Collector is the highest-value item of the month and needs a mini-game grind, not Diamonds.
• Play the Anniversary Weekend Gala on October 9–11. Two matches for a free pick from 265 skins, but only on that weekend — decide your target skin before it opens.
• Claim the Free Random Special Skin box. The quest track runs to November 8, so it is the one free route with no weekend pressure.
• Decide Hayabusa before buying the Starlight. The skill SFX is new, but it only matters if you play him.
• Do the 250-Diamond top-up mission once if you want the Aspirants tokens and the Zilong coupon — one mission feeds both.
• Hold Crystal of Aurora for the Exquisite Collection if Sun is your target, not for flash Elite sales.
• Mind the two Supply Premium windows (October 16–20 and 23–27) so overlapping events don't drain Diamonds meant for a specific draw.
