Blood Strike on PC and Console: Requirements, Controls and Crossplay
By Sir Ayup 5 October 2026, 13:00 WIB
Blood Strike on PC is fully supported: there is a native Windows version on Steam and through NetEase's own PC client, it runs on hardware as modest as a GTX 960 with 8 GB of RAM, and it shares the same account and matches as the mobile game. Consoles are a different story. There is no Blood Strike on PS5, PS4 or Xbox, so anyone searching for a console version will get the closest experience by playing the PC version with a controller. That makes the real decision PC versus mobile, and each one gives you something the other cannot.
This guide covers what each platform needs, how controls work on keyboard, controller and touch, and how crossplay and shared progress tie the versions together.
Where You Can Play Blood Strike
Blood Strike is available on three kinds of devices:
- Android and iOS: the original version, free on Google Play and the App Store.
- PC through Steam: launched in early access in October 2024 and fully released on March 13, 2025.
- PC through NetEase's own client: a standalone Windows download from the official site, separate from Steam.
There is no PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch version, and NetEase has not announced one. Blood Strike PS5 is a common search, but any store page or video claiming a console download is either a different game or not legitimate. If you play on a console and want to try Blood Strike, a PC with a controller plugged in is the closest you can get.
Because the native PC version exists, there is also no need to run the mobile app through an Android emulator. The PC build gives you proper keyboard and mouse support and higher settings without the extra layer.
Blood Strike PC Requirements
Blood Strike is light by shooter standards, which is a big part of why it runs on so many machines. The official Steam requirements are:
- Minimum: Windows 10, Intel i3-540 or AMD Athlon 200GE, 4 GB RAM, Intel HD 4000 or AMD Radeon R5 220, DirectX 11, 30 GB of storage.
- Recommended: Windows 10, Intel Core i5-4460, 8 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960, DirectX 11, 30 GB of storage.
The minimum spec will start the game, but it is the recommended spec that keeps frame rates stable in a full Battle Royale lobby, where many players and effects are on screen at once. In a fast shooter, a steady frame rate matters more than high graphics settings, so on older hardware it is usually better to lower shadows and effects than to accept drops during a firefight.
Keep a little more than 30 GB free as well. Season updates add new maps, Strikers and skins, and the game needs room to download and apply each patch.
Steam or the NetEase Client: Getting Started on PC
Both PC versions are official and run the same game, so the choice is mostly about how you want to sign in and update:
- Steam: installs and updates through your Steam library and ties a Steam account to your Blood Strike profile. It suits players who already keep their games in Steam.
- NetEase PC client: a standalone download from the official Blood Strike site that signs in with your existing game login. It suits players who mainly want to carry their mobile account onto a PC.
The order you do things in matters more than the launcher you pick. If you already play on mobile, a safe first session on PC looks like this:
- On your phone, confirm the account is bound to a login you control, not a guest account.
- Install your chosen PC version and keep at least 30 GB free for the install and its first update.
- Sign in with that same login so the PC version loads your existing progress.
- If you use Steam and are asked which progress to keep, choose the account that holds your Strikers, skins and rank.
- Run a practice match to set graphics and sensitivity before queuing for anything that counts.
Skipping the first step is the most common way players lose progress when they move to PC, because a guest account has no login to bring across.
Controls: Keyboard, Controller and Touch
Each platform plays differently, and the control scheme is the biggest difference between PC and mobile:
- Keyboard and mouse on PC: the default, and the most precise way to aim. Mouse aiming makes long-range fights and quick flicks easier, which is why many competitive players prefer PC.
- Controller on PC: supported, so players coming from consoles can use a familiar gamepad. Controllers get aim assist to make up for the lower precision of thumbsticks, and players report that this assistance is toned down in ranked modes. Sensitivity takes some tuning before it feels right.
- Touch on mobile: virtual buttons with customizable layouts, plus gyroscope aiming on supported phones, which lets you fine-tune aim by tilting the device.
- Controller on mobile: basic support was added for Xbox controllers in Battle Royale and Ranked Battle Royale modes, a good middle ground for players who want to stay on their phone without touch controls.
Whichever input you choose, spend time in a practice match adjusting sensitivity before jumping into ranked. Aim that feels slightly off costs more fights than any loadout choice, and once it feels right, smart positioning is what turns those won fights into a better KDA.
Blood Strike Crossplay Between PC and Mobile
Blood Strike supports cross-platform multiplayer, so PC and mobile players are part of the same game rather than separate communities. You can squad up with friends on other devices, and you can meet players on a different platform in matches.
That has a practical side. On PC you will face mobile players using gyro aim and aim assist, and on mobile you will face PC players with mouse precision. Each side has its strengths: mouse players tend to win long-range duels, while gyro and assisted aim are strong up close. Knowing which kind of fight suits your input helps you pick engagements, and in a mixed squad it often decides who takes the entry, support or anchor role.
Ranked progress belongs to your account rather than your device, so a rank you earn on mobile, along with the points and tier rewards that come with it, is still yours when you log in on PC.
One Account Across PC and Mobile
Your progress is tied to your account, not to a device, so the same Strikers, skins, Strike Gold and rank follow you between mobile and PC once you sign in with the same login. That is what makes switching platforms painless: you can play on PC at home and on your phone on the go without starting over.
Steam needs one extra decision. When you link a Steam account to an existing Blood Strike account and both already have progress, the game asks you to keep one version, and the other is overwritten. It defaults to keeping your PC and mobile progress, and switching to the Steam progress instead requires a separate selection process. Because the overwritten progress cannot be recovered, check which account holds your skins and rank before you confirm anything.
Before linking platforms, make sure the account itself is bound to a login you control, because a guest account or an email you can no longer open makes linking and recovery far harder than it needs to be.
PC or Mobile: Which Should You Play On?
With no console version, the choice comes down to what you value most:
- Competitive play: PC with keyboard and mouse gives the most precise aim and the most stable frame rates, as long as your hardware meets the recommended spec.
- Coming from console: PC with a controller keeps the gamepad feel you know, with aim assist to help in close fights.
- Playing anywhere: mobile is the most flexible, and gyro aim closes much of the precision gap once you get used to it.
- Best of both: since progress is shared, you can climb on PC and keep up with daily missions on mobile. Just secure your account binding before you link a second platform.
Every platform gets the same modes and match lengths, so your choice only changes how you play, not what you can play.
Switching to PC is also a natural moment to reconsider where your account stands, since a new setup with fresh controls usually means a few rough sessions before your aim settles. If you would rather start on PC with your favourite Strikers and skins already unlocked, you can pick one of the Blood Strike Accounts ready to link, let an experienced player keep your daily progress moving through Blood Strike Hourly Services while you adjust, or secure the rank you were aiming for this season with Blood Strike Boosting.
