ZZZ 3.3 Spooky Funhouse Tales: Rewards, Gameplay & How to Prepare
By Sir Ayup
ZZZ 3.3 Spooky Funhouse Tales is the Halloween event coming to Zenless Zone Zero with Version 3.3 "Journey to the Sky," which launches on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Created by the HIA Club as a VR game, it sends Proxies into a haunted Funhouse aboard a Trickmobile, with a free A-Rank W-Engine and the Angels of Delusion outfit among the rewards. At gamemarket.gg, we gathered everything confirmed from the official 3.3 reveal, including how the event works, what you can earn and how to prepare before it opens.

What Is Spooky Funhouse Tales?

The official event slide sets the scene with a playful line: "When the Trickmobile enters the Funhouse, our spooky adventure begins... 'We create the spookies? Things will surely get interesting~'"
Instead of facing the scares, you create them. Proxies drive different styles of Trickmobiles through the Funhouse and scare away its uninvited guests. The key art shows Wise and Belle in chibi form, a game device bearing the Random Play logo and a scattering of illustrated cards, which suggests cards play a part in the gameplay alongside the Trickmobiles.
The full rules, stage count and difficulty have not been detailed yet. Expect a mix of short stages and a Mission Mode, since the outfit reward is tied to clearing every Mission Mode stage.
Night of Supernatural Tricks
Spooky Funhouse Tales is one piece of a wider Halloween celebration. During Night of Supernatural Tricks, the businesses of Lumina Square join in with their own seasonal activities, while the HIA Club hosts the Funhouse. Version 3.3 also brings Enigma of the Labyrinth: Spooky Trial, a separate Halloween challenge mode, so October and early November will be busy for players who enjoy seasonal content.
Rewards: What You Can Earn

Candlelit Scheme (A-Rank W-Engine)

A brand-new A-Rank W-Engine for the Armorer specialty, claimable free from the event page once you complete the event. Its stats and passive have not been revealed, but any free option is welcome for a specialty still this new, especially once you know how Armorer Agents deal their damage.
Angels of Delusion outfit

This outfit comes through the Angels Support Operation. To claim it, you need to clear every Mission Mode stage in Spooky Funhouse Tales, then collect the outfit from the event page. The Angels Support Operation has handed out outfits before without requiring specific Agents, so this one should be within reach for every Proxy.
Proxy accessories and materials
The official slide shows six reward icons. Two appear to be Halloween-themed Proxy accessories, a pumpkin and an orange creature, while the other four look like standard event materials. Their exact names have not been confirmed, so check the event page for the full list.
What about Polychromes?
The event reveal does not highlight Polychromes as a reward. For free pulls in 3.3, the "All-new Program" log-in event is the main source, so treat any Polychromes from Spooky Funhouse Tales as a bonus rather than a guarantee.
How to Prepare
- Update the game when Version 3.3 releases on October 21.
- Check the event calendar for the Spooky Funhouse Tales start date.
- Plan time for Mission Mode, since clearing every stage unlocks the outfit.
- Look at your Armorer Agents, as Candlelit Scheme may suit one of them.
- Save Polychromes for the 3.3 banners if you are pulling for a new Agent.
Version 3.3 asks a big question of your Polychrome budget, since Phoenix and Severian arrive in the same version, so free rewards like Candlelit Scheme help stretch your account further.
Your Spooky Funhouse Tales Checklist
- Mark October 21 for Version 3.3.
- Start the event as soon as it opens.
- Clear every Mission Mode stage for the Angels of Delusion outfit.
- Claim Candlelit Scheme from the event page.
- Collect the Proxy accessories and event materials.
- Finish everything before the event ends.
Spooky Funhouse Tales flips the usual Halloween script by putting you in charge of the scares. With a free Armorer W-Engine, a new outfit and seasonal Proxy accessories on offer, it is one of the easiest reward sources in Version 3.3. Keep an eye on the event calendar after October 21 and clear the Mission Mode early.
