ZZZ Data Bounty Combat Simulation: Farm for Phoenix Before 3.3
By Sir Ayup 12 October 2026, 13:00 WIB
ZZZ Data Bounty: Combat Simulation returns from October 14 to October 19, 2026, doubling the rewards from Combat Simulation during the final week of Version 3.2. At gamemarket.gg, we broke down how the event works, what to farm and why the timing matters this time: it ends just two days before Version 3.3 launches with Phoenix, a Fire Anomaly Agent, and Severian, a Wind Attack Agent. If you plan to build either of them, this is the cheapest moment to prepare their materials.
Event Dates

- Start: October 14, 2026
- End: October 19, 2026
- Requirement: clear Main Story Chapter 1, "Cat's Lost and Found"
Previous runs started at 04:00 server time and ended at 03:59, so expect the same schedule this time. Check the in-game notice for exact times on your server.
How Data Bounty Works

The idea is simple: every successful Combat Simulation run gives double the usual drops. Combat Simulation, found in the HIA, is where you farm the materials that level up your Agents and W-Engines, including the materials tied to each Agent's Attribute and Specialty.
Doubling those drops effectively halves the Battery Charge cost of building an Agent for six days.
There is one extra mechanic to know. Each day, five enemy cards receive buffs that make the fight harder, and the selection resets at 04:00. The buffs make battles tougher but do not change the double rewards. If a buffed card is giving you trouble, pick a different stage that drops the same materials.
Some past runs did not list a daily cap on double rewards, while guides were inconsistent about limits. Check the event page when it opens to confirm whether a cap applies this time.
Why This Run Matters: Version 3.3 Is Two Days Away
Data Bounty ends on October 19, and Version 3.3 arrives on October 21. That makes this event the best window to pre-farm for the new Agents before their banners open.
For Phoenix (Phase 1, October 21 to November 10):

- She is a Fire Anomaly Agent, so focus on Fire materials and Anomaly promotion materials.
- Her kit lets Anomaly damage crit, which could make her a priority for Anomaly players. Our look at Phoenix's team-wide Anomaly CRIT and revive explains why she is drawing so much attention.
For Severian (Phase 2, November 11 to December 1):

- He is a Wind Attack Agent, so Wind materials and Attack promotion materials are the ones to stock.
- His banner opens three weeks later, so farming his materials now is optional but efficient.
If you are not pulling either:
- Use the event to finish Agents you already own, especially anyone stuck on skill levels.
What to Farm First

A few simple priorities help you get the most out of six days:
- Skill materials before promotion materials. Skill levels usually need far more materials over time, so doubled drops save the most there.
- Materials for Agents you will actually use. Pre-farming for a new Agent is only worth it if you are confident you will pull for them.
- Rotate around buffed cards. If a stage is too difficult after the daily reset, switch to another stage with the same rewards.
- Avoid over-farming. Check your inventory first. Doubled drops are wasted on materials you already have in excess.
Once an Agent's materials are covered, the next step is gear. Our Drive Disc farming guide explains how to farm the stats your build needs.
Saving Battery Charge Before October 14
To make the most of Data Bounty, plan your Battery Charge before it starts:
- Spend less on Combat Simulation from now until October 14. Any run before the event gives half the rewards.
- Keep refills in reserve if you plan to farm heavily during the event.
- Clear other events first. Several Version 3.2 events end on October 19, the same day as Data Bounty, including Clink, Clank, Pinball Knight!, Diary of an Orbie Parent and Chronicles of the Hobbling Crow. Login events run until October 20, and Angels Support Operation continues until November 30.
A Second Chance in Version 3.3
If you miss part of this run, Version 3.3 also brings double drops for Area Patrol and Combat Simulation. Combined with Data Bounty, that gives you two farming windows within a few weeks, ideal for building a new Agent from scratch. Our guide to the earlier Area Patrol double rewards shows how to plan a double-drop week efficiently.
Your Data Bounty Checklist
- Clear Chapter 1 if you have not already, to unlock the event.
- Save Battery Charge until October 14: runs before the event give half the rewards.
- Decide your target: Phoenix (Fire Anomaly), Severian (Wind Attack) or Agents you already own.
- Farm skill materials first: they give the biggest long-term savings.
- Check the daily buffed cards after 04:00 and switch stages if needed.
- Finish by October 19: the event closes two days before Version 3.3.
Data Bounty is a short event, but its timing makes it one of the most useful of the version. Six days of doubled Combat Simulation rewards right before two new S-Rank Agents arrive is the perfect chance to have your materials ready on day one.
