Genshin Impact Escoffier Pull or Save? Cryo Support 7.1 Analysis
By Sir Ayup 13 October 2026, 08:00 WIB
Genshin Impact Escoffier returns in the Version 7.1 Phase II banner from October 13 to November 3, 2026, and she arrives alongside Skirk, the Cryo damage dealer she pairs with best. At gamemarket.gg, we broke down what Escoffier actually does, why her value depends so heavily on your team and whether she is worth your Primogems this phase. The short version: in a Hydro and Cryo team, she is one of the strongest supports in the game. Outside that setup, her biggest strength mostly disappears.
Phase II Banner Details

- Escoffier banner: "La Chanson Cerise"
- Running alongside: Skirk, on "Void Star's Advent"
- Period: October 13, 18:00 to November 3, 14:59 (server time)
- 4-star rate-ups: Dahlia, Candace and Mika
- Weapon banner: Symphonist of Scents (Escoffier) and Azurelight (Skirk)
One detail matters for planning: pulls on either character banner share the same guarantee counter. If you plan to pull both, your pity carries over between them.
Who Is Escoffier?
- Rarity: 5-star
- Element: Cryo
- Weapon: Polearm
- Role: Support, offering Cryo application, healing and RES shred
Escoffier first arrived in Version 5.6. She is not a main damage dealer. Her job is to make Hydro and Cryo damage dealers hit much harder while keeping the team alive.
How Her Kit Works

Elemental Skill: Low-Temperature Cooking
She deals Cryo damage and summons a Cooking Mek that follows your active character, attacking nearby enemies roughly every second and applying Cryo regularly. With a 20-second duration and a 15-second cooldown, it has near-permanent uptime.
Elemental Burst: Scoring Cuts
An AoE Cryo attack that also heals the whole party. Her first Ascension passive adds extra healing over time to the active character.
Ascension 4 Passive: the reason to pull her
Escoffier reduces enemies' Cryo and Hydro RES based on how many Hydro and Cryo characters are in your team:
- 1 Hydro/Cryo member: 5%
- 2 members: 10%
- 3 members: 15%
- 4 members: 55%
That jump at four is enormous. In a full Hydro and Cryo team, she gives one of the largest RES reductions available to any support, which is why she shines in Freeze teams.
Best Teams for Escoffier
Freeze (her best team)
- Escoffier
- Furina
- A Cryo on-field damage dealer, with Skirk widely considered the strongest option
- A flexible fourth slot such as Mona, Citlali or Shenhe
Community team guides also rate Vodyanitsa, from Phase I of this version, as one of the best fourth-slot options in many of these teams. Our Vesna vs Vodyanitsa comparison explains what she brings.
Other options
Escoffier can also slot into some reaction teams as the fourth member, and she can work in Melt alongside another Cryo applicator. But her RES reduction is much smaller without four Hydro and Cryo members, so these are secondary uses.
Should You Get Her Signature Weapon?

Symphonist of Scents is her best weapon. It boosts her own damage and gives 32% ATK to characters she heals, which turns her healing into a team-wide buff.
It is a strong upgrade but not essential. Good alternatives include:
- Deathmatch for more damage
- Favonius Lance for Energy, which is also a 4-star rate-up on this weapon banner
If you plan to pull Skirk too, the weapon banner can get expensive quickly, so prioritise characters before weapons.
Constellations: Is C1 Worth It?
Escoffier's C1 is her most valuable constellation, giving roughly a 15% team damage boost in teams with four Hydro and Cryo members. Her C2 to C5 are generally considered weak or situational, and C6 mainly adds personal damage.
For most players, C0 Escoffier is enough. Only chase C1 if Freeze is your main team and you have Primogems to spare.
Who Should Pull for Escoffier
- Players who use or want Skirk. Escoffier is Skirk's ideal partner, and both are available on the same phase. Our complete Skirk 7.1 guide covers her side of the duo.
- Freeze team players. Her 55% RES shred at four Hydro and Cryo members is a huge upgrade for Freeze.
- Furina owners. Furina already fits the Hydro and Cryo core, so Escoffier completes the team quickly.
- Players who need a healer. She heals and buffs at the same time, saving a team slot.
Who Should Save
- Players without Hydro or Cryo teams. Outside that setup, her RES shred drops to 15% or less, and she becomes a much weaker support.
- Players who can only afford one 5-star. If you have neither, Skirk usually comes first as the damage dealer, with Escoffier as the follow-up.
- Players saving for future banners. If your main teams use other elements, a later banner will likely serve you better.
If you are counting Primogems, the version's free sources can help. Our guide to the Predictive Victory Dynamics event covers 420 free Primogems.
Verdict: Pull or Save?
Pull if you play Skirk, Freeze or Furina teams. Escoffier turns a Hydro and Cryo team into one of the strongest setups in the game, and getting her alongside Skirk on the same phase makes this rerun especially valuable.
Save if your teams use other elements or you can only afford one character. Her power is real, but it is concentrated in one team archetype.
Whichever you choose, decide before November 3, when Phase II ends.
