Unleash DEF-scaling Electric devastation in New Eridu! Early Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2 leaks reveal Claret Flint, the S-Rank Armorer Agent. Explore her Crimson Inscription stance, Laceration DMG conversion, signature W-Engine, Mindscape Cinema, and top squad synergies.

The Electric Armorer Takes Center Stage: Claret Overview

New Eridu’s tactical landscape is on the verge of a massive structural shift! Following the Version 3.1 anniversary patch, early beta leaks surrounding the Version 3.2 update have unveiled Claret Flint, an S-Rank Electric Agent who introduces a brand-new Specialty class known as the Armorer. Serving as the manager of the Flint Workshop alongside her assistant Roxy, Claret completely redefines frontline damage roles by converting raw Defense (DEF) parameters directly into explosive physical and elemental force.

Equipped with a giant forging hammer that transforms into a blood-soaked battle axe, Claret operates as an aggressive on-field hypercarry. Her mechanics revolve around accumulating Sharpness energy, applying stacked Gash debuffs to target enemies, and shifting into her empowered Crimson Inscription stance state. For proxies looking to expand their roster beyond traditional attack-scaling DPS units, Claret’s debut marks a major evolution in how combat teams handle elemental buildup, execution triggers, and critical hit calculations.

Mechanics Breakdown: DEF Scaling & Crimson Inscription

At the core of Claret’s playstyle are three interconnected combat systems that turn defensive investment into devastating offensive output:

Unlike standard Agents who rely on pure ATK scaling, all of Claret’s abilities deal Sharp DMG, utilizing her total Defense multiplier. Furthermore, she completely overhauls standard critical hit math through her Laceration DMG passive. When scoring a critical hit, Laceration DMG replaces standard CRIT DMG calculations. Once her CRIT Rate exceeds 100%, every excess percentage point grants an additional Laceration check, allowing her to trigger multiple critical hit instances on a single strike.

Dealing Sharp DMG builds up a Gash gauge on targets, stacking up to three times. When Claret or her teammates hit an enemy suffering from Gash with her specialized skills, it consumes a stack to trigger a high-multiplier Maim execution. This awards Claret 1 point of Personal Resources to further fuel her burst window. Consuming her Sharpness meter via her EX Special Attack transforms her forging hammer into a blood axe and initiates Crimson Inscription for 16 seconds. While in this state, she gains elevated Anti-Interrupt resistance, a +35% CRIT Rate boost, and a +25% DMG increase, converting her basic attacks into high-potency axe slashes.

Skill Kit & Execution Loops

Claret’s abilities seamlessly flow between resource accumulation and heavy stance executions:

Her standard input, Blood Forge, delivers four consecutive hammer strikes with Electric DMG. Once inside Crimson Inscription, this evolves into Star Forge, unleashing a three-hit blood axe sequence with enhanced Anti-Interrupt. Holding the input extends the skill's slashing duration. Additionally, landing heavy Maim triggers unlocks Blood Axe Return, an invulnerable spinning slash that closes distance on target enemies without risking on-field damage.

When her Sharpness meter is full, executing Blood-Forged Edge consumes the resource to launch a heavy slash, starting her 16-second Crimson Inscription phase. While in stance state with Personal Resources active, holding the Special Attack button unleashes Blood Burial Onslaught, a continuous spinning slash that consumes all resource stacks. Every point consumed raises the skill’s overall DMG by 6.5% while keeping Claret fully invulnerable during the entire attack animation.

Signature W-Engine & Mindscape Upgrades

Her signature S-Rank W-Engine is custom-built to support her unique stat distribution and Laceration conversions. The weapon grants a base +25% CRIT Rate boost to ensure she easily reaches and passes the 100% threshold. Whenever the equipper lands a Sharp strike, they gain 1 stack of Enhance, boosting Electric DMG by 7% for 20 seconds (stacking up to 3 times). At maximum stacks, her Electric Sharp DMG increases by an additional 12%.

Her Mindscape Cinema progression provides substantial multiplier spikes for dedicated proxies. C1 raises her Gash buildup rate by 15% and grants up to 15% bonus CRIT Rate when the squad applies Gash. C2 allows her core stance attacks to ignore 35% of the target's Electric RES, while squad Maim triggers restore Sharpness. C4 preserves her basic attack combo sequence when performing a dodge inside Scarlet Inscription, ensuring uninterrupted DPS uptime.

Team Synergies & Armorer Mechanics

Claret’s additional ability activates whenever she is paired alongside another Stun Agent or a fellow Armorer. Active teammates build 3% Gash value on hit every second, while Stun Agents executing heavy attacks directly trigger Maim executions on Claret's behalf.

Additionally, triggering Maim activates the Gleaming Edge Unveiled state, providing a 20% PEN Ratio and 10% Daze amplification for 10 seconds. Switching between Claret and her Stun or Armorer allies passes this buff back and forth, extending its duration by 3 seconds and creating a high-uptime loop of continuous enemy Daze and execution damage.
