Which ZZZ Area Patrol Stage Should You Farm for Double Rewards?

Area Patrol double rewards are back in Zenless Zone Zero. The Advanced Bounty: Area Patrol event lets you clear Area Patrol stages for double Drive Disc rewards, and it is one of the best chances to get twice the Drive Discs for the same Battery Charge. It returns roughly once every version and only lasts a few days each time. When Is the Area Patrol Double Rewards Event?

The current run of Advanced Bounty: Area Patrol is live now:

• Start: November 4, 2026, 04:00 (server time)
• End: November 9, 2026, 03:59 (server time)

That gives you five days of double rewards. The event has appeared about once per version so far, so if you miss this run, the next one is likely to arrive during the next version.

Requirements

According to HoYoverse, you need to:

• Reach Inter-Knot Level 21
• Complete the Reputation Rank-Up Mission "Path of the Proxy I"
• Unlock Area Patrol

Area Patrol is the mode formerly known as Routine Cleanup, so some players and guides still use the old name.

How the Double Rewards Work

According to the official event notice:

• Clear any Area Patrol stage during the event to earn double rewards
• Two challenges are buffed each day, and the buffs reset daily at 04:00 (server time)

In previous runs, this meant players could claim the double Drive Disc rewards twice per day. So over the full event, you can get up to 10 boosted clears, as long as you log in every day. Since the daily buffs reset at 04:00 server time, unused boosts do not carry over to the next day.

Every Area Patrol Stage and Its Drive Discs

Each stage drops two Drive Disc sets. Pick the stage based on the sets your Agents need:

1. Monster and Weirdo: Swing Jazz, Chaotic Metal
2. Fist and Gun: Hormone Punk, Fanged Metal
3. Hunter and Hound: Shockstar Disco, Thunder Metal
4. Tower and Cannon: Woodpecker Electro, Soul Rock
5. Madman and Follower: Puffer Electro, Inferno Metal
6. Sharp Fang and Blunt Axe: Polar Metal, Freedom Blues
7. Hunter and Beast: Chaos Jazz, Proto Punk
8. Monster Duet: Branch and Blade Song, Astral Voice
9. Gunslinger vs Guardian: Shadow Harmony, Phaethon's Melody
10. Words and Weapons: King of the Summit, Yunkui Tales
11. Iron Law and Outlaws: Dawn's Bloom, Moonlight Lullaby
12. Deceits and Bulwarks: White Water Ballad, Shining Aria
13. Dragon Taming Chariot: Notes from the Chained, Bunny in Wonderland
14. Pilot and the Rebel Mech: The Sky Ablaze, Wuthering Salon
15. Swiftspine and Splitclaw: Feathered Fate, Thorned Rose

Version 3.3 did not add new Drive Disc sets or new Area Patrol stages, so this list is current.

What to Farm This Time

This run ends on November 9, two days before Severian arrives in Version 3.3 Phase 2 on November 11. That makes it the last double-drop window to prepare his discs before his banner goes live.

Phoenix (Fire Anomaly, available now)

• 4-piece: Freedom Blues from Sharp Fang and Blunt Axe
• 2-piece: Phaethon's Melody from Gunslinger vs Guardian

Severian (Wind Attack, arriving November 11)

• 4-piece: Dawn's Bloom from Iron Law and Outlaws
• 2-piece: Woodpecker Electro from Tower and Cannon, or Branch and Blade Song from Monster Duet

Severian's recommended discs are based on pre-release builds, so they could change once players test him. Farming Dawn's Bloom is still a safe bet, since it is a strong set for Attack Agents in general.

Tips to Get the Most Out of Area Patrol

• Log in every day. The daily boosts reset at 04:00 server time and do not stack, so missing a day means losing those boosted clears
• Farm for one Agent at a time. Spreading your clears across many stages makes it harder to finish any single build
• Look at the off-piece too. Every stage drops two sets, so pick stages where both sets are useful to your account
• Save Battery Charge before the event. Going in with a full bar lets you use the boosted clears without waiting for it to refill
