Umamusume Sparkly Magic Show: Rewards, Missions & Ornament Guide
By Sir Ayup 15 October 2026, 04:00 WIB
The Umamusume Sparkly Magic Show is a three-day story event in Umamusume: Pretty Derby that starts on October 15, 2026, at 10:00 p.m. UTC. Run as a collaboration with Tokyo Mega Illumination, it asks Trainers to collect Ornaments for both personal rewards and a server-wide community goal, with an SSR Guaranteed Make Debut Ticket waiting at the top. At gamemarket.gg, we broke down the schedule, the rewards, the missions and the fastest way to collect Ornaments before the event closes.
Sparkly Magic Show at a Glance

- Event type: story event, a Tokyo Mega Illumi collaboration

- End: October 18, 9:59 p.m. UTC (October 19, 04:59 WIB)
- Duration: 3 days
- Main currency: Ornaments
- Top community reward: SSR Guaranteed Make Debut Ticket
Tokyo Mega Illumination is the large light festival held at Ōi Racecourse in Tokyo, and the event's key art leans into that theme with glowing decorations and a magic show stage. In Japan, the same event was known as the Kirari Magic Show.
The reward and mission details below are based on the earlier Japanese version of the event. Global often keeps these the same, but numbers may change, so check the in-game event page once it opens.
How the Event Works
The goal is simple: collect Ornaments. You earn them in two ways:
- Completing careers, where the number of Ornaments depends on your final evaluation score. A career with 20,000 evaluation points gives 20 Ornaments.
- Clearing event missions, which give smaller fixed amounts.
Every Ornament counts twice. It moves you along your own Individual Rewards track and adds to the Overall Rewards total that every Trainer builds together.
Individual Rewards
These are yours to claim as soon as you reach each milestone:
- 20 Ornaments: Monies x50,000
- 30 Ornaments: Support Points x20,000
- 40 Ornaments: Alarm Clocks x20
- 50 Ornaments: Gold Crystal Shard x1
- 60 Ornaments: Monies x100,000
- 80 Ornaments: Support Points x50,000
- 100 Ornaments: Rainbow Crystal Shard x1
With careers scoring 20,000 points or more, you can finish the whole track in around five careers, which is very achievable across three days.
Overall Rewards: The Community Goal
The Overall Rewards unlock based on the total Ornaments collected by all players:
- 10,000,000: Goddess Statue x5
- 15,000,000: Textbook of Hints x4
- 20,000,000: 2★ Make Debut Ticket x1
- 25,000,000: Rare Book of Hints x2
- 30,000,000: Dream Sparkle x3
- 40,000,000: Rare Textbook of Hints x1
- 50,000,000: SSR Guaranteed Make Debut Ticket x1
The SSR Guaranteed Make Debut Ticket is the prize everyone is chasing. You do not need a huge personal total to receive it, but the community does need enough active Trainers to push the counter past 50 million.
Event Missions

The missions lean heavily toward Dirt content.
Daily missions (one Ornament each):
- Win a race in a career
- Play Team Trials once
- Win a Dirt race in Team Trials once
Limited-time missions (one Ornament each, plus a bonus):
- Participate in a Daily Race
- Complete a Daily Legend Race
- Run the Teio Sho in a career
- Run the Tokyo Daishoten in a career
- Train an Umamusume with Dirt aptitude B or higher
- Clear all limited-time missions for 5 extra Ornaments
The Teio Sho and Tokyo Daishoten are both held at Ōi, which ties the missions neatly to the Tokyo Mega Illumination theme. Planning one career with a Dirt-capable trainee can clear several of these at once.
How to Farm Ornaments Fast
Since Ornaments scale with evaluation score, the goal is the same as preparing a strong Team Trials runner:
- Push for high evaluation. Aim for 20,000 points or more per career.
- Focus stats. A single very high stat, such as 1,600 Speed, scores better than a spread of average stats.
- Buy plenty of skills. Skills add a lot to the final evaluation.
- Use your strongest Support Cards. Community guides suggest a 3 Speed, 2 Wit, 1 Pal deck in the Grand Live scenario.
- Pick an easy trainee. Sakura Bakushin O is a popular choice because her stat growth reaches high numbers even with SR cards.
A Wit-focused build in the updated Unity Cup scenario is another way to reach high scores if your deck suits it.
What Else Is Running
The event overlaps with several other limited-time pieces of content:

- Narita Brian (Blaze) trainee banner, with Yamanin Zephyr and T.M. Opera O Support Cards, until October 23
- Holiday Celebration Part 2, until October 24
Trainers who also raise Opera O as a trainee can use the event careers to test the best support builds for TM Opera O while farming Ornaments. Careers you run for Ornaments can also double as practice for the Capricorn Cup, which starts on October 28 with a Chukyo 1,200m sprint setup worth preparing early.
Your Sparkly Magic Show Checklist
- Log in after October 15, 10:00 p.m. UTC (October 16 morning in WIB).
- Clear the daily missions on all three days.
- Run one Dirt career to finish the Teio Sho, Tokyo Daishoten and Dirt aptitude missions.
- Aim for 20,000+ evaluation in every career.
- Reach 100 Ornaments for the Rainbow Crystal Shard.
- Claim everything before October 18, 9:59 p.m. UTC.
The Sparkly Magic Show is short, but it is generous for its length. Five strong careers and a few daily missions are enough to clear your personal track, and every Ornament you add pushes the community closer to that SSR Guaranteed Make Debut Ticket.
