RAID The Scarecrow Guide: Ingenious Titan, Frightful Frontier & Kit
By Sir Ayup 9 October 2026, 07:00 WIB
The Scarecrow in RAID: Shadow Legends is suddenly one of the easiest Legendary champions to get, and one of the few you can build up without pulling a single shard. At gamemarket.gg, we looked at how two events running together in early October line up: the Ingenious Titan Event, which awards The Scarecrow himself, and the Frightful Frontier Event, which hands out his Souls for ascension. Together they turn an Echoes of Oz shard champion into a free, upgradeable support. Here is how both events work, what his kit actually does and where he earns a spot on your team.
Who Is The Scarecrow?

The Scarecrow is a Legendary Support champion from the Undead Hordes faction with the Spirit affinity. He arrived as part of the Echoes of Oz collaboration, which runs from August 19 to November 10, 2026, alongside Dorothy Gale, Tin Woodman, The Cowardly Lion and Ozilda the Wicked.
Since August 19, he has been available from Ancient, Primal and Sacred Shards, which means most players who wanted him had to rely on luck. The October events change that by offering a guaranteed route.
If you want the full picture of the collaboration and how each Oz champion is obtained, our Echoes of Oz guide to all five champions covers the rest of the cast.
How to Get The Scarecrow: Ingenious Titan Event

The Ingenious Titan Event is the event that awards The Scarecrow. It follows the familiar Titan format:
- Earn Citadel Points from events and tournaments that are clearly marked as counting toward the Titan.
- Reach milestones along the way for rewards, including a fusion token.
- Complete the event to add The Scarecrow to your collection.
The important part is that you do not need luck for this one. As long as you take part in the marked events and tournaments steadily, the milestones lead directly to him. Check the event page in-game for which activities count and how long you have, since the end date is shown there.
How to Ascend Him: Frightful Frontier Event

Getting The Scarecrow is only half the job. The Frightful Frontier Event is where you power him up.
It is a new kind of event for RAID. Instead of a points race, it asks you to complete quests and explore outposts on a map:
- Clearing outposts unlocks more of the map.
- Uncovering more of the map gives access to more rewards.
- The key rewards are Souls for The Scarecrow, used to ascend him and unlock his full potential.
Frightful Frontier also kicks off the Festival of Frights, RAID's Halloween season, so it sits at the start of a busy stretch of events. The practical takeaway is to explore as much of the map as you can, since every outpost you leave uncleared is a reward you leave behind.
Running both events together is what makes this window special. One gives you the champion and the other gives you the materials to upgrade him, so players who commit to both finish October with a fully supported Legendary instead of a bare one.
The Scarecrow's Kit

The Scarecrow's skills all point toward one job: keeping a team alive and accurate through long fights.
Crow Hunter (basic attack) hits one enemy twice. The first hit can apply Decrease RES and the second can apply Decrease ACC, both for two turns. Once any ally has died in the battle, these debuffs can no longer be resisted, which makes his basic attack stronger as a fight turns against you.
Smart Thinking is his signature support skill. It reduces the cooldown of every other ally's skills by one turn, then gives the whole team 50% Increase RES and 50% Increase ACC for two turns. Cooldown reduction is rare and valuable, because it lets your strongest champions use their key skills more often.
All Stitched Up revives an ally at 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter and gives them Block Damage for two turns, so the revived champion cannot be immediately killed again. It also gives the whole team a 25% Fortify buff.
True Brains is his passive safety net. When The Scarecrow dies, he revives himself at 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter and clears debuffs as he comes back. Once an ally has fallen, he also becomes immune to Fear, True Fear, Provoke and Petrification, which protects him from the crowd control that usually shuts supports down.
His aura raises team Accuracy by 60 in all battles, which adds to the same theme as Smart Thinking.
What He Brings to Your Team
The Scarecrow's value comes from three things working together.
The first is Accuracy. Between his aura and Smart Thinking's Increase ACC, he helps your debuffers land their effects against high-Resistance bosses, a common problem in endgame content.
The second is cooldown reduction. Reducing every ally's cooldowns by one turn means your damage dealers and other supports cycle their best skills faster, which adds up quickly over a long boss fight.
The third is survivability. An ally revive, his own self-revive and team-wide Fortify give your team several layers of protection. Fights that would normally end after one bad turn can recover instead.
These strengths fit content where fights last and Accuracy matters. Community ratings place him highest in Sand Devil and the Frost Spider in Doom Tower, with strong marks in Hydra, Chimera, Dragon, Ice Golem, Faction Wars and Arena offense. He is generally considered a mid-to-late game champion, so newer accounts will get more from him once their main damage dealers are in place.
Who Should Prioritise Him
- Players without a reliable reviver: All Stitched Up and True Brains give your team a safety net many accounts lack.
- Players struggling with Accuracy: his aura and Increase ACC help debuff-heavy teams land their effects.
- Undead Hordes collectors: he adds a Legendary support to the faction, which helps in Faction Wars.
- Echoes of Oz collectors: owning all five Oz champions by November 10 at 23:59 UTC unlocks a special collection gift, and The Scarecrow is now the easiest of them to secure.
For accounts that already run a strong reviver and plenty of Accuracy, he is still a solid backup, but the urgency is lower. Even then, the event route costs only time, so there is little reason to skip him.
Your Scarecrow Checklist
- Join Ingenious Titan: take part in the marked events and tournaments to collect Citadel Points, and check the end date in-game.
- Clear Frightful Frontier outposts: explore as much of the map as you can to collect his Souls.
- Ascend him with the Souls: use the Frightful Frontier rewards to unlock his full potential.
- Plan his skill tomes: Smart Thinking and All Stitched Up both get shorter cooldowns with books, which makes them the most useful to upgrade.
- Check your Echoes of Oz collection: if you are close to owning all five champions, aim to finish before November 10.
The Scarecrow is a rare case where a Legendary support arrives with both a free unlock and free ascension materials in the same window. Use Ingenious Titan to get him, Frightful Frontier to power him up, and you will have a reliable reviver and Accuracy booster ready for the Halloween season.
