Raid Shadow Legends Update 11.75 Guide: Mercurial Counter, Better Summons and 4 New Legendaries
By Michael Pras 2 September 2026, 14:00 WIB
Plarium's Update Highlights for 11.75 lead with the Mercurial Set, and how that change is written matters more than the fact of it. Mercurial keeps every one of its numbers. The 9-piece bonus still grants three Total Guard stacks at the start of each Round, each stack still blocks an entire instance of damage and everything attached to it, and Bosses still ignore the mechanic completely. What changes is that Provoke now goes through it, and a Champion sitting under an active Provoke stops generating new stacks until the debuff is cleansed.
That is a counter, not a nerf. The correct response is to build a Provoke Champion, not to strip your Mercurial gear. Update 11.75 has no confirmed release date beyond arriving in the coming days.
What actually changed on Mercurial
Two specific things. Total Guard no longer blocks the placement of Provoke debuffs, and when a Provoke lands on a Champion carrying stacks, no stack is consumed absorbing it. Separately, the set's turn-start replenishment — the part that hands a stack back to a Champion who has run out — will not trigger while that Champion is Provoked.
Everything else survives intact. Stacks still block guaranteed and unresistable debuffs, destroy MAX HP, equalize and swap HP effects, Debuff Spread, Turn Meter manipulation, instant Poison and HP Burn activation, and Polymorph. A Champion holding at least one stack remains immune to every negative effect except Increase Cooldown, even from skills that deal no damage.
Hold onto that last exception. Increase Cooldown was already the single debuff Total Guard could not stop. As of 11.75 it is joined by Provoke — and one of the update's new Champions is built almost entirely around Increase Cooldown. More on that below, because the two facts are related.
Why Provoke just became the most valuable debuff in RAID
Arena is where this lands hardest. A Mercurial-geared defence has been close to unassailable for attackers without a specific answer. From 11.75 there is one, and it's a debuff many accounts never invested in because its uses were narrow.
Check your vault before building anything new. Provoke Champions you shelved as situational are now the counter to the game's premier defensive set — a far cheaper solution than re-gearing, and one available before most of the playerbase adjusts.
And if you're the one running Mercurial: your defence now has a known weakness. Cleanse coverage on that team is worth more than it was last week, because clearing the Provoke is what restarts stack generation.
The summon changes, and the catch in them
Progressive Chance multipliers rise from x15/x20/x25 to x20/x25/x30. Regular Summon Boost Events go from 10x to 15x.
But the x30 tier is gated. It unlocks only after you open a set number of Shards or summon a Legendary Champion, which means the top multiplier rewards players already pulling deep. Open ten Shards during an event and you see the improved lower tiers; open a hundred and you see all of it.
Still a real improvement, just an uneven one. If you save Shards for events specifically — and you should — the ceiling on those events is now meaningfully higher.
Robar and Abbess rebalanced
Both are Legendaries from RAID's earlier years, and both changes are more substantial than "improvements to older Champions" suggests.
Robar gains a new Passive, Orc Brotherhood, filling his Turn Meter by 15% whenever Fear, True Fear, Freeze, Provoke, Sleep or Stun lands on any ally but himself, and filling every ally's Turn Meter by 15% when he applies a Stun. He also counterattacks with Stunning Strength whenever an Orcs Faction ally is attacked, once per turn.
His existing skills changed too. Wild Swing now places 50% Increase ACC and 50% Increase ATK on him before attacking, and adds a True Fear debuff alongside the Decrease DEF. Merciless Assault now ignores 20% of each target's DEF and their Shield buffs, with its cooldown cut from 4 turns to 3. His Faction Crypts Accuracy Aura goes from 50 to 80, and his base SPD rises from 97 to 102.
Abbess receives her first Passive Skill, The Brightest Light, which ignores 25% of a target's RES when her ATK exceeds theirs and raises her own ATK by 5% for every buff she receives or steals, stacking to 50%.
Her actives were reworked around that. Arrow of Rebuke now transfers one of her debuffs to the target and steals a buff from it with 100% certainty. Mass Impalement applies its 60% Decrease DEF before attacking, ignores 15% DEF and Shield buffs, and grants an Extra Turn on a kill. Divine Wrath ignores 15% of each target's DEF — 30% if her ATK beats their DEF — plus Unkillable buffs, and its Ascended version opens by placing 50% Increase ATK on herself. Her Faction Crypts ATK Aura moves from 34% to 40%.
Note the Provoke line in Robar's new Passive. In an update that makes Provoke the answer to the strongest gear set in the game, a Champion who converts Provoke landing on allies into Turn Meter is arriving at a convenient moment.
The four new Legendaries
Thralia, She Who Stands — Magic, HP type, Dwarves. Built entirely around Destroy MAX HP. For Runegarden! destroys 2.5% of a target's MAX HP whenever she attacks and 5% of an attacker's whenever she's struck (2.5% against Bosses), stacking to 50%, while raising her own MAX HP on the same triggers. She then deals 1% more damage for every 1% of a target's MAX HP already destroyed. Her A1 ignores Shield buffs and 1% of DEF per 1% destroyed; her AoE hits twice ignoring Unkillable and 15% DEF. Unflinching Bulwark stacks Increase C. RATE, Increase C. DMG and a Shield worth 30% of her MAX HP, grants an Extra Turn, and makes her immune to Ignore DEF while that Shield holds. Her Aura gives 40% Ally HP in all Battles, Dwarves only.
Owein Winterflame — Spirit, Defense, Sylvan Watchers. A Shield and Reflect Damage specialist. Embermatch's Boon equalises all allies up to the highest ally's HP, heals proportionally to his DEF, and applies Reflect Damage across the team. Ever-Burning layers Increase DEF and a DEF-scaled Shield, and its passive half converts any expiring or removed Shield into a Magma Shield. Winter's Flame cuts his incoming damage by 25%, or 50% while shielded, and reflects the denied damage back at every enemy. His A1 strips Shield and Magma Shield buffs — unresistably, if he himself is shielded.
Thayla Hammerhorn — Magic, Support, Skinwalkers. Herald of Loriaca revives every dead ally at 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter, applies Increase DEF and Increase SPD to the team, and Stuns all enemies for a turn — and it can be used with no dead allies at all, making it a team buff and AoE Stun in its own right. Devastating Ram strips all buffs from all enemies on its first hit and lands Decrease DEF and Decrease SPD on the second. For the Herd makes enemies under any of her debuffs take 15% more damage and deal 15% less. Her Aura is 20% Ally SPD in all Battles.
Miyoko, Flower of Yakai — Void, Attack, Shadowkin, and the most directly relevant to the Mercurial change. Her entire kit manipulates enemy cooldowns: her A1 has a 50% chance to add two turns to a random enemy skill, unresistably if that enemy already has anything on cooldown. Seductive Saboteur ignores 25% DEF plus Block Damage and Stone Skin buffs, and on a kill randomly puts a skill on cooldown for every remaining enemy and grants her an Extra Turn. Graceful Bladework gains extra hits and up to 50% bonus damage scaling off how much enemy cooldown is already sitting on the board. Two Steps Ahead makes her immune to cooldown increases herself and blocks crits from enemies she has locked down. Her Aura is 30% Ally SPD in Arena.
Read Miyoko against the Mercurial rules. Increase Cooldown is the one debuff Total Guard has never blocked, and Plarium is shipping a dedicated Increase Cooldown Champion in the same update that opens Mercurial to Provoke. Whether or not that's deliberate, the result is that the set now has two answers instead of none.
One more pattern worth seeing. Thralia's A1, Robar's reworked Merciless Assault, Abbess's Mass Impalement and Owein's A1 all gained or already carry Shield-ignoring or Shield-stripping effects — while Owein and Miyoko both build their own Shields. Update 11.75 is pushing Shield stacking and Shield piercing at the same time.
Two quality-of-life additions
Siege gains the ability to view your Clan's previous Battle Phase map during the Prep Phase, via a button in the Battle Report tab.
Treasure Tickets get visual and UI work, including a Free Roll button that surfaces in your Bastion whenever a Free Roll is available — addressing the most common way free rolls go unclaimed.
What to do before it lands
- Identify a Provoke Champion you can build. The highest-leverage response to the whole update, and it costs nothing but gear you likely already own.
- Audit your Mercurial teams for cleanse. Clearing the Provoke restarts stack generation; without cleanse, the counter sticks.
- Reassess Robar if he's in your vault. A 102 base SPD, a Turn Meter engine tied to crowd control, and an 80 Accuracy Faction Crypts Aura make him a different Champion for Faction Wars than he was.
- Hold your Shards for the next Progressive Chance event. The ceiling moved, and the gating rewards concentrated pulls over scattered ones.
- Don't sell Mercurial gear. The set kept every number it had.
What isn't confirmed
The exact release date, and whether Champion Ratings for Robar and Abbess reset alongside their rebalance. Everything else — full kits for all four new Champions and complete before-and-after tables for both rebalances — is published in Plarium's own Update Highlights post, though as images rather than text.

Build the roster the update rewards
An update that turns one debuff into the answer to the game's best gear set only helps accounts deep enough to field that debuff, and roster breadth is the slow half of any RAID account. Browse verified Raid: Shadow Legends accounts if you'd rather start from a roster with the dungeon clears and farmed gear already behind it, keep dailies, Clan Boss keys and event points running through Raid: Shadow Legends hourly services so a missed week doesn't cost you an event, or stock Shards ahead of the improved Progressive Chance ceiling with a Raid: Shadow Legends top up.
