Mobile Legends: Bang Bang looks set for a Fairy Tail crossover, and the community has already settled on six hero pairings: Dyrroth as Natsu Dragneel, Freya as Erza Scarlet, Vexana as Lucy Heartfilia, Brody as Gray Fullbuster, Layla as Wendy Marvell and Aurora as Juvia Lockser. The catch, stated up front: Moonton has not announced this collaboration. There is no official post, no date, no skin tier and no price. Everything below comes from community datamining and creator portrait mock-ups that have circulated since July, and two of the six pairings rest on firmer ground than the other four. Here is what is solid, what is guesswork, and how to prepare an account without spending on a rumor.

What is actually known

The collaboration itself is unconfirmed, but the rumor did not come from nowhere. Moonton has worked with the Fairy Tail licence before in the developer's other titles, which is why the community treated blank skin slots appearing in MLBB's files as a signal rather than noise. From those slots and the surrounding assets, dataminers assembled the six-hero list that has been circulating since late July, and portrait showcases built from the anime's key art have since spread across social media.

Two things are worth separating:

• Stronger footing: Dyrroth as Natsu and Aurora as Juvia. Community reports point to finished splash art for these two pairings existing in a Moonton title, which is why the community lists them as "confirmed" even though Moonton has not.
• Prediction only: Freya as Erza, Vexana as Lucy, Brody as Gray and Layla as Wendy. These are matched to empty skin slots by role and silhouette. They are plausible — each pairing puts a mage, marksman or fighter behind a character who fights the same way — but they are the community's guess, and the community's own posts say so.

Short gameplay clips described as skin footage have also circulated. We cannot verify what they show or whether they are genuine, so this article does not describe them; treat any effect or animation detail you see attached to these skins as unverified until Moonton publishes it.

The pairings are the part everyone is talking about, but the part that decides whether the collab is worth your diamonds is the structure — and that is where MLBB's track record helps.

How MLBB anime collabs usually work

Moonton's recent crossovers follow a consistent shape, and the Fairy Tail rumor should be read against it rather than in isolation.

None of this is specific to Fairy Tail. It is the pattern, and a Fairy Tail collab that breaks it would itself be news.

Six skins on six heroes also raises a question the pairings alone do not answer: whether the heroes are ones you play.

The six pairings, hero by hero

Read as roles rather than as anime characters, the rumored line-up covers three lanes and three play styles.

• Dyrroth as Natsu Dragneel — Fighter, EXP lane. Dyrroth is Moonton's most-used collab hero; he already received Guile in the Street Fighter 6 event and Gon in an earlier anime crossover. A Dyrroth main gets the most obvious fit here: a fire-themed brawler on a hero whose kit already reads as one.
• Freya as Erza Scarlet — Fighter, EXP lane or roam. Erza's armor-swapping identity maps onto Freya's form-changing ultimate, which is the pairing the community is most confident about among the four unconfirmed ones.
• Vexana as Lucy Heartfilia — Mage, mid lane. Lucy summons spirits; Vexana summons the undead. It is a thematic match more than a mechanical one, which is typical of collab mages.
• Brody as Gray Fullbuster — Marksman, gold lane. Gray's ice magic on a marksman whose basic attacks build stacks is a visual pairing rather than a kit one.
• Layla as Wendy Marvell — Marksman, gold lane. Layla is the game's starter marksman, so a collab skin here is aimed at the widest possible audience.
• Aurora as Juvia Lockser — Mage, mid lane. Juvia's water magic on the game's ice-themed mage is the cleanest thematic fit in the set, which is consistent with it being one of the two pairings with reported splash art.

The heroes matter because a collab skin on a hero you do not play is a cabinet piece, not a purchase. With six skins and the usual draw structure, most players will realistically target one or two.

Does this collab fit your account?

The decision, when it comes, is about fit rather than budget, and the fit test can be done now:

• You main one of the six. If Dyrroth, Freya, Vexana, Brody, Layla or Aurora is in your regular rotation, one skin from this set is a reasonable target and the free tier — if there is one — is worth the tasks regardless.
• You collect anime crossovers. Collab skins sit in the rare-skin tier that does not return on a schedule, which is the reason they hold value in account listings. That is a collector's case, and a collector's budget.
• None of the six is yours. Then the rational move is to wait: the event tasks may still hand out something free, and a rerun is a real possibility. Spending on a hero you do not play is the one outcome every collab is designed to produce and none of them rewards.
