Mobile Legends x Street Fighter 6 — July 3 Launch Strategy Guide

Moonton officially confirmed the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang x Street Fighter 6 collaboration launches on July 3, 2026 — and Land of Dawn warriors have just 6 days to prepare. Beyond the four previously leaked skins (Paquito as Ryu, Chou as Ken, Guinevere as Chun-Li, Dyrroth as Guile), Moonton's official social channels revealed a major new addition: a FREE Special skin obtainable through event tasks. This launch week action plan walks through exactly what to do in the next 6 days before July 3, how to handle launch day, and the daily routine to optimize the entire collaboration window through August 16. For the original leaked skin details and gacha mechanics, see our MLBB x Street Fighter 6 Skin Leaks.

📢 What Moonton Officially Confirmed

Across Mobile Legends: Bang Bang's official Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok channels in the past 24-48 hours, Moonton confirmed:

• ✅ Launch date: July 3, 2026 (worldwide servers)
• ✅ Event duration: July 3 through August 16, 2026 (approximately 6 weeks)
• ✅ FREE Special skin: Obtainable by completing collaboration event tasks (new addition not in pre-launch leaks)
• ✅ Two skin variants per character: "Two types of Street Fighter skins will be available at the same time" — confirming the default + SF6 painted variant system
• ✅ 4 premium crossover skins at 1,200 Event Crests each: Paquito × Ryu, Chou × Ken Masters, Guinevere × Chun-Li, Dyrroth × Guile
• ✅ 200 Crests additional for SF6 painted variant unlock per character

The free Special skin addition is the most significant new detail. Previous MLBB collaborations (KOF, Naruto Shippuden, Sanrio) followed similar structures where event task completion guaranteed at least one free cosmetic — but the SF6 free skin's specific identity remains unconfirmed pending Moonton's full event reveal closer to launch.

🎁 The FREE Special Skin — What We Know

Moonton confirmed that completing collaboration event tasks during the July 3 – August 16 window grants players a free Special skin. While the specific skin and which hero receives it haven't been officially announced, historical patterns from previous MLBB crossovers suggest:

• The free skin typically targets a hero NOT among the four primary featured characters
• Free crossover skins are usually Elite or Special tier (not Epic or Collector tier)
• Event task completion typically requires 7-14 days of daily participation
• The free skin may use a Street Fighter character not represented in the premium roster (potential candidates: Cammy, Akuma, M. Bison, Blanka, Zangief, Juri)

The FREE skin elevates the value proposition for F2P players — even Players who don't spend a single Diamond on Premium Draws walk away with at least one collab cosmetic by participating in event tasks.

📅 6-Day Pre-Launch Checklist (June 27 – July 2)

Use the next 6 days to prepare your account for maximum collaboration value:

Days 1-2 (June 27-28):

• ✅ Verify hero ownership: Check if you own Paquito, Chou, Guinevere, and Dyrroth — heroes you don't own cannot equip their crossover skins
• ✅ Plan Diamond top-up timing: Hold off on major recharges until Moonton announces Premium Supply Recharge Tasks (typically 1-3 days before event launch)
• ✅ Complete current Season 41 Battle Pass tasks — Don't leave unfinished tasks that compete with collab events for daily attention

Days 3-4 (June 29-30):

• ✅ Acquire missing heroes: Use Battle Points or Tickets to buy Paquito, Chou, Guinevere, or Dyrroth if you don't own them. Hero pricing in BP: typically 32,000 BP for older heroes
• ✅ Stockpile Tickets: Don't spend Tickets on hero purchases right before collab — you may need them for event-specific shop items
• ✅ Practice featured heroes in Classic mode — If you plan to actively play the heroes whose skins you'll buy, get comfortable with their mechanics

Days 5-6 (July 1-2):

• ✅ Final Diamond budget allocation: Decide between F2P route (Daily 25-Diamond pulls), Light-spender route (target 1 specific skin via budget strategy), or Full-collector route (all 4 + variants)
• ✅ Watch Moonton announcements: Premium Supply Recharge Tasks reveal typically drops 24-48 hours before event launch — time your recharges accordingly
• ✅ Complete Daily Login chains: Login streaks reset can lose value if you miss days during launch hype
• ✅ Pre-allocate Crests budget: 1,200 Crests per main skin + 200 Crests per painted variant = plan exact targets before launch

🎯 Skin Acquisition Priority Framework

With 4 premium skins at 1,200 Crests each plus 200 Crests for SF6 variants, full collection requires 5,600 Crests minimum. Most F2P and light-spender Players can realistically secure 1-2 skins. Here's how to prioritize based on your playstyle:

If you main Fighter heroes:

• Priority: Paquito × Ryu — Paquito's high-mobility brawler kit pairs naturally with Ryu's martial arts identity
• Alternative: Chou × Ken Masters — Both fighter-class heroes; mirrors fighting game roster overlap

If you main Assassin heroes:

• Priority: Chou × Ken Masters — Chou's flashy kicks visually match Ken's aggressive combat style
• Alternative: Guinevere × Chun-Li — Following her Athena Asamiya legacy, Guinevere claims another iconic crossover role

If you main Marksman heroes (or unique playstyles):

• Priority: Dyrroth × Guile — Military aesthetic appeals to tactical Players
• Alternative: Guinevere × Chun-Li for visual variety in your roster

If you collect crossover skins:

• Prioritize whichever hero you play most often (skins you'll actually USE in matches)
• Don't chase skins for heroes you never queue — Collector value diminishes if the cosmetic never appears in active play
• Consider the SF6 painted variant for your single main skin (200 extra Crests doubles the visual options)

⏰ July 3 Launch Day Action Plan

Hour 0 (Launch):

• Open Mobile Legends immediately at server reset
• Check Event tab for the SF6 collaboration banner
• Verify gacha mechanics match expectations (25 Diamond discounted single, 500 Diamond 10x)
• Note the FREE Special skin event task requirements — these are time-gated tasks

Hour 1-3 (First Pull Strategy):

• Make your FIRST discounted single pull (25 Diamonds) — claim the daily discount immediately
• Do NOT bulk pull on Day 1 unless Moonton announces a special launch promotion
• Check Event Shop for the Crest exchange page
• Start the first event task chain for the FREE Special skin

Day 1 Evening:

• Complete daily login bonus (collab events often include daily login Crests)
• Play 2-3 matches to fulfill any "play X matches" event tasks
• Avoid impulsive 10x pulls until you've assessed the full event structure
• Read official Moonton announcements for any Day 1 surprises

📋 Daily Routine for the Campaign Window (July 3 – August 16)

The 6-week event window rewards consistent daily participation more than burst spending. Here's the optimal daily routine:

• Single discounted pull (25 Diamonds): Commit to one pull every day. Over 45 days, this accumulates ~45 free-equivalent draws at minimum Diamond cost
• Event task completion: Complete daily, weekly, and event-specific tasks for Crest income and FREE Special skin progress
• Login chain: Don't miss Daily Login bonuses (events frequently include Diamond, Crest, or Token rewards on specific days)
• Match participation: Play 2-3 matches daily to fulfill "play X matches" tasks
• Premium Supply Recharge: Time Diamond recharges to align with Premium Supply Phases (massive bonus draw tokens per recharge tier)
• Weekly Diamond Pass stacking: Activate Diamond Passes during Premium Supply Phases for compounded value

💎 Diamond Top-Up Timing Strategy

Timing your Diamond purchases dramatically affects total event ROI. Three optimal recharge windows:

Window 1: Before Launch (June 30 – July 2)

• Suitable IF Moonton announces pre-launch top-up bonuses (rare but historically possible)
• Not recommended for first-time recharge decisions — wait for Premium Supply phase confirmation

Window 2: First 24-72 Hours Post-Launch (July 3-5)

• Premium Supply Phase typically activates in the first launch window
• Recharging during this phase grants massive bonus draw tokens per Diamond purchased
• Stack Weekly Diamond Passes during this window for compounded returns

Window 3: Final Push (August 5-16)

• Final week before event closes — last chance to secure Crests via 10x pulls
• Recharge ONLY if you're 200-500 Crests short of your target skin
• Avoid panic-buying near event close if you've completed your priority targets

🎮 Hero Ownership Verification (Critical Pre-Launch Check)

Crossover skins require ownership of the base hero. If you plan to acquire any of the 4 premium skins, verify ownership now:

• Paquito (Fighter) — Buyable via Battle Points or Tickets if missing
• Chou (Fighter) — Older hero, commonly owned by most accounts
• Guinevere (Fighter) — Buyable via BP/Tickets; commonly featured in Hero Trial events
• Dyrroth (Fighter) — Standard pool hero with moderate BP cost

If you don't own a hero whose crossover skin you want, prioritize purchasing them BEFORE July 3 using existing BP or Ticket reserves. Don't wait until launch day — preparation matters more than reaction.

🏆 Collaboration Context — MLBB Crossover Legacy

Mobile Legends has a strong track record of memorable crossover events. The SF6 collaboration follows recent successful partnerships:

• KOF (King of Fighters): Guinevere as Athena Asamiya, plus full KOF roster crossovers (Karina, Dyrroth, Lesley variants)
• Sanrio: Multiple hero skins (Floryn, Claude, Beatrix featuring Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, and other characters)
• Naruto Shippuden: Julian, Suyou crossover skins
• Star Wars, Transformers, Saint Seiya: Earlier event collaborations

SF6 represents the third major fighting-game crossover (after KOF) and the first specifically targeting Capcom's Street Fighter franchise. Historical pattern: fighting-game crossovers in MLBB consistently rank among the most popular event campaigns, driving high engagement and skin acquisition rates.

🎯 Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Burning Diamonds on Day 1 without checking Premium Supply Phase: You leave massive value on the table by recharging before the bonus phase activates
• Skipping the daily 25-Diamond discounted pull: Free Diamonds and Crest progress lost across 45 days
• Not pursuing the FREE Special skin: Event tasks reward a guaranteed skin — don't ignore tasks chasing premium draws
• Buying SF6 painted variants before securing main skins: 200 Crests for variant only matters if you have the base skin first
• Pulling for skins of heroes you don't own: Skins are useless without the base hero — verify ownership FIRST
• Spending on heroes you don't play: Collector mentality drains Diamonds without long-term value
• Missing daily logins: Login chain rewards stack with event Crests — daily participation compounds
• Ignoring official Moonton announcements during launch week: Surprise bonuses, top-up promotions, and event extensions are typically announced last-minute
• Comparing budget recommendations from older crossovers: Each event has unique mechanics — SF6 specifics may differ from previous KOF or Sanrio guidance

📋 Event Task Strategy Recommendations

Based on previous MLBB crossover event structures, expect the following task categories:

• Daily Login Tasks: 7-day login chain rewarding Crests, Tickets, or event tokens
• Match Participation Tasks: Play X matches in Classic/Ranked modes (typically 3-5 per day)
• Hero-Specific Tasks: Win matches with featured heroes (Paquito, Chou, Guinevere, Dyrroth)
• Friend Interaction Tasks: Add friends, send/receive gifts, play together
• Special Event Stages: Limited-time PvE or PvP modes themed around Street Fighter
• Premium Recharge Tasks: Top-up Diamonds during designated phases for bonus rewards

Prioritize Hero-Specific Tasks if you own the featured heroes — winning matches with Paquito/Chou/Guinevere/Dyrroth likely yields the highest Crest rewards per completion.

📊 Connecting With Other Season 41 Events

The SF6 collaboration overlaps with active Season 41 "Scarlet Embers" content. To maximize daily efficiency:

• Use the same matches to fulfill BOTH Season 41 Battle Pass tasks AND SF6 event tasks

💡 Final Launch Week Tips

• Read every Moonton announcement in the next 6 days — pre-launch promotion details emerge fast
• Don't FOMO into premium recharges before Premium Supply Phase activates
• Set Diamond budget cap BEFORE launch — easier to stick to limits when defined in advance
• Commit to daily participation — 6-week events reward consistency over burst spending
• Track Crest income across all sources — daily pulls, event tasks, recharge bonuses, login rewards all add up
• Decide ONE priority skin instead of chasing all four — collection completionism often costs 2x the smart targeted approach
• Watch community responses Day 1-3 — Players will quickly identify which event tasks reward the most Crests
• Don't dismiss the FREE Special skin — guaranteed cosmetic for F2P participation is a strong baseline value
