Who Is Stillframe Marcel?
Stillframe Marcel carries the title Soul Photographer. He is a young scion of House Paxley, born in Castle Aberleen, an eccentric artist who has always lived alone and whose fractured soul has fused with his camera. Marcel's Kit: Control the Back Line, Protect the Front
The patch note describes Marcel as a Support who keeps applying crowd control to enemy back-line heroes while giving Shields and Buffs to his team. His four skills split cleanly between those two jobs.
Picture Perfect is his ultimate and his biggest team-saving tool. It gives a Shield to every ally. When that Shield breaks, the ally also restores Energy and becomes immune to all damage. That last effect matters most, because it turns the moment a Shield is lost, normally the most dangerous point in a fight, into a short window of complete safety.
Tracking Shot is how he reaches the enemy back line. It moves Marcel to the farthest enemy and stuns every enemy around him. Since the farthest enemy is usually a damage dealer or support standing behind the front line, this skill lets him disrupt exactly the heroes who are normally hardest to reach.
Platinum Snap attacks the enemy's resources instead of their HP. It puts enemies into a Negative State, where any Energy they gain is reduced instead. In a game where ultimates depend on Energy, slowing an enemy team's Energy gain can delay their biggest skills.
Golden Framing links his offence to his defence. Every time Marcel applies a debuff, he gives a stackable Shield to the ally with the lowest HP. The more he controls the enemy, the more protection he hands to whoever needs it most.
Why His Kit Works Together
The four skills form a loop rather than four separate tools.
Tracking Shot and Platinum Snap both put effects on enemies, and every one of those debuffs triggers Golden Framing, sending stacking Shields to your weakest ally. When the fight gets tense, Picture Perfect shields the entire team, and the moment those Shields break, your heroes regain Energy and become immune to damage.

- Fragile carries: Golden Framing's stacking Shields go to the lowest-HP ally, which often means your main damage dealer.
His Hybrid (Dark + Technology) typing also places him outside the standard faction buckets, and his bond with Gusion gives players who own Gusion an extra reason to pair them.

The Midnight Invitation event opens on the same day with two new Epic skins:
- Crimson Auteur for Stillframe Marcel
- Haunted Revelry for Aeon Rista
Both come through a Gachapon event, starting October 16 at 15:00 server time, with Campaign 10-5 required to take part.
New Chapter: Tinted Mirage
The main story addition is Tinted Mirage, a new chapter built around Marcel. A request from a city that should not exist brings Marcel Paxley to Aldrich. By day, the townspeople are friendly and welcoming. After sunset, a Black Shadow starts claiming lives.
When Marcel's dark-magic camera reveals a massacre from seventy years ago, it uncovers a revenge plan that has waited seven decades at the bottom of a well. The chapter opens on October 16 at 15:00 server time, and you need to clear Campaign 9-15 to take part.
A second chapter is also on the way. Realm of Legends: Angel's Visage, from the Frozen Frame Portrait series, follows Marcel and his split soul Clemar as they are invited to solve a puzzle challenge set by a mysterious artist in Lumina City. It is listed as coming soon.
Halloween Events Arriving on October 16
Several events open alongside Marcel, all at 15:00 server time on October 16:
- Twilight Gallery: complete daily sign-in quests for rewards, with Premium and Deluxe tiers for more valuable items and a customisable reward theme. Requires Campaign 10-5.
- Halloween Midnight Bazaar: buy 5 high-value packs during the event to claim a Hero Selection Chest, letting you choose between Aeon Rista and Achlys Alice. Requires Campaign 10-5.
- Pitched Fund V: a purchasable fund with rewards including a Legendary Elevation Gem Selection Chest and Diamonds. Requires Campaign 45-45 and Fierce Battle Chapter 45.
The Midnight Bazaar is the event to plan around if you want either Aeon Rista or Achlys Alice, since it lets you pick one directly instead of relying on summons.
What Ends Around the Same Time
Two deadlines come with this update:
- Crown of Conquest ends on October 16 at 15:00 server time.
- Titan Market closes on October 17 at 15:00 server time.
Exchange your Sacred Shards for rewards before the Titan Market closes. If you joined the Crown of Conquest expansion, anything left unspent after October 17 is lost.
Trade Expedition Fragment Changes
The update also adjusts Trade Expedition routes:
- Wind Fort and Fire Throat routes now include Achlys Alice Fragments.
- Moonlit Forest now includes Achlys Alice Fragments and Eos Silvanna Fragments.
That gives free-to-play players a steadier way to work toward Achlys Alice, which pairs well with the Midnight Bazaar's Hero Selection Chest if she is your target.
Update Rewards and Timing
