MLA October 9 Update: Medusa, Lunox Dreamtide Bliss & Events
By Sir Ayup 7 October 2026, 21:00 WIB
The Mobile Legends: Adventure October 9 update opens two very different chases on the same day: the Starry Invocation summon for the Epic hero Medusa, and a rerun of Dreamscape Palace, the event that hands out Singularity Lunox's Ultimate Legendary skin "Dreamtide Bliss." Here at GameMarket.gg, we think the skin event deserves the closer look. Its two-layer draw system is rarely explained, and its odds are steep enough that going in without a budget is the fastest way to empty your Dreambound Keys. This guide covers everything that goes live on October 9, how Dreamscape Palace actually works, and how to approach each event.
What Goes Live on October 9
- Starry Invocation: the summon event for Medusa, an Epic Astral hero. Unlocks at Campaign 26-40.
- Dreamscape Palace: the rerun of Singularity Lunox's "Dreamtide Bliss", an Ultimate Legendary skin.
- Trick-or-Treat Contest: daily quests that open the month's Halloween events.
- Halloween Bundle: a themed pack released alongside the contest.
- Sacred Blessing: summon in Sacred Oath a set number of times to earn a Hero Selection Chest for Order or Chaos heroes.
The same patch notes also mention a Skin Lucky Scratch event, where daily sign-ins award Lucky Charms that can be exchanged for avatar borders and emotes, and a premium track adds Lucky Scratch Cards with a chance at a Skin Selection Chest. Its exact start date has not been confirmed as October 9, so check the event tab in-game.
Exact end dates for these events have not been published yet. The full month, including Mustang Johnson, Stillframe Marcel and the Legendary Genesis Shar, is laid out in our MLA October calendar of three new heroes and the Halloween events.
Medusa and the Starry Invocation

Medusa is an Epic hero of the Astral type, and the Starry Invocation is the only route to her this month. Summons use Starry Covenants, and the event also pays out a large set of resources and milestone rewards as you summon.
The gate matters more than the hero. Without a clear of Campaign 26-40, the event stays locked no matter how many Starry Covenants you hold. Players below that stage should push the campaign first, since the same gate also controls the Celestial Supplication for Genesis Shar on October 23.
That October 23 date is worth keeping in mind. Genesis Shar is the month's Legendary release, while Medusa is Epic. Spend on Medusa if she fills a real gap in your Astral lineup, but keep part of your summon budget for the Legendary two weeks later. Her full MLA kit has not been detailed yet, so judging her fit from her role in your current teams is the safest approach until players test her.
How Dreamscape Palace Works
Dreamscape Palace is the event built around Singularity Lunox's "Dreamtide Bliss," and Ultimate Legendary is the highest skin tier in MLA. When it first ran in January 2025, it worked in two layers. Unless the rerun notes say otherwise, expect the same structure:

- Rounds: each round of the event lasts 21 days.
- Dreambound Keys: the currency you spend on every draw.
- Outer Seal: the first layer you draw from. The skin is in this pool, but at only 0.01%, along with Golden Eyes, Ancient Lenses and other items.
- Magic Rift: a draw can send you into the Rift, which grants 1 free summon that does not cost a Dreambound Key.
- Oracle Tablet: the inner layer, where the skin's rate rises to 2.17%. The rest of the pool is mostly large stacks of Golden Eyes.
- Exchange Shop: Golden Eyes buy the skin's exclusive custom items.
- Exclusive Title: collecting the skin and all of its exclusive custom items unlocks a title tied to Dreamtide Bliss.
Read that way, the Outer Seal is mostly a route into the Oracle Tablet. The real chance at the skin sits in the inner layer, and even there it is a little over 2% per draw. Rates for this rerun have not been republished, so confirm them on the event page before you start.
Approaching the Skin Chase
Low odds do not mean the event is a waste. Many draws that miss the skin still return Golden Eyes, especially in the Oracle Tablet, where most of the pool is large Golden Eye stacks. Golden Eyes are what buy the custom items in the Exchange Shop. So a player who does not land the skin can still walk away with part of the cosmetic set.
A few habits make the chase easier to manage:
- Set a key budget first: decide how many Dreambound Keys you are willing to spend before the first draw, and stop there.
- Track your Golden Eyes: check the Exchange Shop prices early so you know which custom items you can afford even without the skin.
- Use the free Rift summon: every trip into the Magic Rift includes one draw that costs nothing, so never skip it.
- Remember the round length: with 21-day rounds, there is no reason to spend everything on the first day.
If you missed Dreamtide Bliss in January 2025, this rerun is your second chance at MLA's top skin tier. If you already own it, the Golden Eyes still make the event worth a light look for any custom items you are missing.
Halloween Starts Here
October 9 is also the first of three Halloween dates this month, and the events that open now are the ones you cannot catch up on later.
The Trick-or-Treat Contest runs on daily quests. Missed days are gone for good, so starting on the opening day secures every reward. The Halloween Bundle sits alongside it for players who want the themed pack.
Sacred Blessing rewards a set number of Sacred Oath summons with a Hero Selection Chest for an Order or Chaos hero. Pick your target before the chest arrives. Order and Chaos also matter for A New Hero's Chapter on October 30, which needs five different Order/Chaos heroes to unlock.
The next Halloween wave lands on October 16 with new exclusive skins, followed by Candy Bash on October 23.
October is also busy on the competitive side. The Crown of Conquest expansion that launched on September 25 is still fresh, so plan your stamina and summon resources across both the events and the mode.
October 9 Checklist
- Check your campaign stage: clear Campaign 26-40 if you want Medusa, or Genesis Shar later in the month.
- Start Trick-or-Treat on day one: its daily quests cannot be made up later.
- Set a Dreambound Key budget: confirm the rerun's rates, then decide your limit before drawing.
- Plan your Golden Eyes: know which custom items you want from the Exchange Shop.
- Choose your Sacred Blessing pick: decide on an Order or Chaos hero before the chest arrives.
- Keep summons in reserve: Genesis Shar, the month's Legendary, arrives on October 23.
