Honor of Kings Global Anniversary 2026: Dunshan and Free Legend Skin
By Sir Ayup
The Honor of Kings Global Anniversary lands on October 24, 2026, and the celebration is already taking shape. The new hero Dunshan joins the Gorge on October 21, just three days earlier, and the anniversary's headline reward is a free limited Legend skin, Millennium Tower Dunshan. At gamemarket.gg, we gathered everything confirmed so far about the anniversary, Dunshan's expected kit and how to prepare before the full event calendar goes live.
Global Anniversary at a Glance
- Global Anniversary: October 24, 2026
- New hero: Dunshan, arriving October 21
- Anniversary skin: Millennium Tower Dunshan, a limited Legend skin
- How to get the skin: free by joining the anniversary event
- Full event calendar: not yet announced
Meet Dunshan, the Anniversary Hero
Dunshan is a protector built to stand in front of his team. His official reveal describes him as "standing strong to protect his teammates," and his anniversary artwork shows him guarding the Gorge through all four seasons, from spring blossoms to winter snow.
Expected kit
Dunshan's global skill names and numbers have not been published yet. Based on his existing kit in the Chinese version, players can expect:
- Passive: basic attacks deal bonus damage that scales with his HP, and become a ranged area attack while his first skill is active
- Skill 1: dash to an ally and shield both of you, or anchor onto a tower to become an untargetable turret while the tower heals and gains a shield
- Skill 2: charge forward, grab an enemy hero and throw them, briefly stunning enemies where they land
- Ultimate: slam down a giant shield that damages, knocks back and slows enemies, then pushes forward to block incoming projectiles
The global version could differ, so treat these as a preview until the official skill details arrive with his release.
Why Dunshan matters
Few heroes can block projectiles and reposition enemy heroes at the same time. If his global kit matches, Dunshan should be a strong pick for players who enjoy protecting carries and disrupting enemy formations rather than chasing kills.
Millennium Tower Dunshan: The Free Legend Skin
The anniversary's centrepiece reward is Millennium Tower Dunshan, described as the Global Anniversary limited Legend skin. It is marked as coming soon, and players can get it for free by joining the event.
What is not known yet:
- The exact date the skin becomes available
- The tasks or login requirements needed to claim it
- Whether it requires owning Dunshan first
Because the skin is limited, missing the event window could mean missing it entirely, so it is worth checking the event centre daily once the anniversary begins.
What to Expect From the Anniversary
The full Global Anniversary calendar has not been released, but last year's October celebration set a clear pattern: free skins through login and task events, limited draws with free tokens, and free trials for heroes and skins. This year's lineup has not been confirmed, so keep an eye on official announcements in the days before October 24.
Dunshan was first listed as one of two new heroes in the Season 16 preview, alongside the mage Wang Wei. If you skipped him, the Wang Wei skills and build guide is a good place to catch up before the anniversary rush, and the current hero tier list will help you see where a new support like Dunshan could fit.
How to Prepare for October 24
- Save your tokens for any anniversary draws or shop discounts.
- Log in daily from October 21 so you do not miss the start of login events.
- Try Dunshan early if a free trial is available.
