HSR Pearl Pull or Save? Ice Elation Sustain 4.6 Analysis
By Sir Ayup 14 October 2026, 00:00 WIB
HSR Pearl has been available since the start of Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.6, and her banner runs through both phases, until around November 10, 2026. She is a 5-star Ice Elation sustain, not a damage dealer, and her value depends almost entirely on whether you are building around the Elation Path. At gamemarket.gg, we looked at her kit, the teams she belongs in and how she compares with the other 4.6 banners, so you can decide whether to pull now, wait for Phase 2 or save entirely.
Pearl's Banner at a Glance

- Rarity: 5-star
- Element and Path: Ice, Elation
- Role: Sustain and defensive support, scaling from DEF
- Signature Light Cone: Colors for Tomorrow
- Banner period: the full Version 4.6, from September 28 to around November 10
Phase 1 (until October 21): Pearl runs alongside an Evanescia rerun.
Phase 2 (October 21 to around November 10): Pearl continues alongside a Mortenax Blade rerun.
The 4-star rate-ups in both phases are Qingque, Xueyi and Misha.
Because Pearl stays on the banner for the whole version, there is no rush to decide in Phase 1. The bigger question is whether you also want Evanescia, whose rerun ends on October 21.
How Pearl's Kit Works

Skill: Relume Life's Light
Heals the whole team, then heals the lowest-HP ally again. It also grants Certified Banger, the resource that powers her defensive kit.
Ultimate: Appraise Soul's Ground
Marks one ally as the Aesthetic Archetype. Pearl then copies part of that ally's combat data, gaining an extra Elation hit and enhanced Basic ATKs, and advances the Archetype's turn. The more Elation characters on your team, the stronger this effect becomes.
Talent: Grow Grace from Grit
Converts Certified Banger into Repellency, which she spends to block part of the damage allies take. Allies at 50% HP or lower take even less damage.
Key Traces
- Removes debuffs from the team.
- If the Archetype is an Elation character, their next Ultimate returns 90 Energy to Pearl.
- Her Elation stat scales up as her DEF rises.
Notable Eidolons
- E1: with 2 or more Elation characters, allies gain Elation based on Pearl's own Elation, up to 60%.
- E2: allies gain 15% more Elation damage, and her Ultimate also advances other Elation allies.
Both Eidolons only shine in Elation teams. For most players, E0 Pearl is enough to do her job.
Her Signature Light Cone: Colors for Tomorrow

At S1, Colors for Tomorrow grants 48% DEF. When an Elation Skill hits the team, allies heal based on Pearl's DEF, and enemies take more damage for 3 turns, with the effect growing as you add more Elation allies.
It is a strong upgrade for dedicated Elation teams, but sustain units usually perform their core role without their signature. Secure Pearl first and treat the Light Cone as a later investment.
Best Teams for Pearl

Pearl belongs in Elation teams. Community team guides point to:
- Silver Wolf LV.999 as an Elation core
- Evanescia as the Elation damage dealer
- Aventurine Waveflair as an extra defensive layer
The pattern is clear: the more Elation characters you field, the more value Pearl adds through her Ultimate, Traces and Eidolons. Our complete Pearl build guide covers her relics and stats in detail.
How She Compares With the Other 4.6 Banners
Community rankings for Version 4.6 generally place the three banners like this:
- Evanescia: the best overall pull, a top-tier Elation damage dealer who performs well even without premium support.
- Pearl: the best choice for Elation players, but only when paired with Elation damage dealers.
- Mortenax Blade: situational, flexible but less of a priority.
That ranking explains the common advice: Evanescia first, Pearl second for players building Elation from scratch. Our look at why Pearl is shaking up the 4.6 tier list goes deeper into where she stands against established sustains.
Who Should Pull for Pearl

- Elation team builders. Pearl is designed for this archetype, and her value grows with every Elation teammate.
- Evanescia owners. If you already have Evanescia or plan to pull her before October 21, Pearl is her natural sustain partner.
- Aventurine Waveflair owners. Their defensive kits stack well in Elation teams.
- Players short on sustain. If your current healer cannot keep up in endgame modes, Pearl adds healing, damage blocking and cleansing in one unit.
Who Should Save
- Players not using Elation. Outside Elation teams, Pearl is mainly a healer, and much of her kit goes unused.
- Players with a working sustain. If you already rely on Huohuo, Aventurine or the Preservation Trailblazer, Pearl is closer to a sidegrade than an upgrade.
- Players who can afford only one 5-star. For most accounts building Elation, Evanescia gives more value first, and Pearl stays available until around November 10.

Verdict: Pull or Save?
Pull if you are building Elation, especially alongside Evanescia or Silver Wolf LV.999. Pearl's healing, damage blocking and Elation scaling make her the strongest sustain for that archetype.
Save if Elation is not your focus or your current sustain already works. She is excellent in the right team but adds little outside it.
The smart timing is to decide on Evanescia before October 21, then pick up Pearl at any point before the version ends around November 10.
