Sandrone Build Guide Genshin 6.7 — Complete Cryo Claymore Walkthrough

Sandrone debuts in Genshin Impact Version 6.7 on July 1, 2026 as the closing headliner of the Lunar cycle — and she arrives as a 5-star Cryo Claymore DPS who fundamentally rewrites how Superconduct functions in the game. Her introduction of the new Stellar-Conduct reaction, combined with her mechanical companion Fagio and a unique Decoding Power Meter system, makes her one of the most mechanically distinct DPS characters HoYoverse has released in the entire Luna chapter. This is the complete Sandrone build walkthrough for Travelers preparing to pull her during her debut banner window.

🔮 Why Sandrone's Banner Matters

Sandrone is positioned as a meta-defining addition to the Genshin Impact roster. The community consensus from Version 6.7 beta testing places her as the strongest Cryo DPS released since Lohen's debut — and arguably the most impactful character of the entire Luna chapter.

Her banner runs July 1 – July 21, 2026, giving Travelers a 21-day window to secure her. For accounts building around Cryo teams or interested in the new Stellar-Conduct reaction archetype, this is the debut banner — and her next rerun could be many patches away as Snezhnaya content takes over the meta narrative.

What makes Sandrone uniquely valuable is the Stellar-Conduct reaction rework. Superconduct has historically been Genshin's weakest reaction — base damage was minimal, physical resistance reduction niche, and no character ever anchored a serious team archetype around it. Sandrone's introduction transforms this dead reaction into a meta-defining damage scaler, opening an entirely new team archetype that pairs Cryo and Electro units for massive AoE damage windows.

⚔️ Sandrone's Kit Breakdown

Rarity: 5-Star
Element: Cryo
Weapon Type: Claymore
Role: On-field Hyper-Carry / Reaction Enabler
Companion: Fagio (Facilitatrice Automatisee Generaliste Interactive et Omnitache)
Ascension Stat: CRIT DMG (19.2% at Lv90)

Normal Attack — Formule Phenomenale: Self-Evident Proposition: 3-hit combo using invisible threads to control her massive claymore. Foundation damage layer between charged attack windows.

Charged Attack — Decoding Mode: Sandrone summons Fagio, forcing him into Decoding mode. He fires sweeping flame attacks and heavy condensed beams that deal massive AoE Cryo DMG. Under Sandrone's special elemental aura, these beams transform to deal Stellar-Conduct DMG.

Decoding Power Meter (Critical Mechanic): While Fagio fires beams, his energy meter builds up to 100 points. At maximum capacity, he enters Power Overdrive mode — attacks slower, cannot re-enter standard stance until meter drops below 50. When Sandrone is off-field, the meter decays 300% faster.

Elemental Skill — Formule Phenomenale: Differential Analysis: Sandrone boards Fagio for enhanced mobility, firing Cryo attacks at nearby enemies. Generates resources tied to her damage cycle and reaction mechanics. Resets Charged Attack availability.

Elemental Burst — High Multiplier Finisher: Summons multiple mechanical attacks before unleashing a large Cryo finisher. Triggers multiple enhanced Stellar-Conduct reactions simultaneously. Multipliers significantly amplified when cast after a Charged Attack — sequence matters for ceiling damage.

The Decoding Power Meter management is core to her skill expression. Patient meter building during pre-burst windows, then triggering everything during her Stellar-Conduct field, creates the highest damage ceilings.

🌟 The Stellar-Conduct Reaction System

Sandrone's defining mechanical contribution is the Stellar-Conduct reaction — an enhanced version of Superconduct that her passive talents enable. Understanding this system is essential to building her properly.

How Stellar-Conduct Works:

• Accumulation Phase: Rapid Cryo + Electro reactions build hidden Stellar-Conduct stacks
• Threshold Trigger: Once stacks hit threshold, the system unleashes massive AoE damage
• Polestar Field: Stellar-Conduct creates specialized field on the ground where Sandrone enters her Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state
• Damage Buff Window: Standing inside the Polestar Field massively buffs Sandrone's damage output
• Independent Multiplier: Stellar-Conduct damage converts percentage of ATK into reaction damage — scales independently from elemental DMG bonuses

Application Requirements:

• Buffs based on Cryo + Electro application in 4-second intervals (updated from beta's 3s)
• Fast Cryo and Electro application = stronger Stellar-Conduct procs
• Sandrone's Charged Attack beams provide rapid Cryo application via small Cryo crystals
• Pairs perfectly with off-field Electro applicators (Yae Miko, Fischl, Beidou)

This reaction system is the foundation of all Sandrone team building. Without consistent Cryo + Electro pairing, Stellar-Conduct windows don't trigger consistently — and her damage ceiling collapses.

🗡️ Best Weapons for Sandrone

BiS: Sandrone's Signature 5-Star Claymore

Sandrone's signature weapon (release 5-star Claymore) provides:

• ATK% scaling tuned to her Charged Attack damage profile
• "Transcendence" buff each time Charged Attack hits enemy (28-56% ATK scaling at refinements)
• CRIT scaling synergy with her ascension stat

For Travelers committed to Sandrone as primary DPS, the signature weapon pull is strongly recommended.

5-Star Alternatives:

• Wolf's Gravestone — Strong ATK buff but lacks Stellar-Conduct specific scaling
• Redhorn Stonethresher — DEF-scaling option, niche for specific builds
• Beacon of the Reed Sea — HP-tied CRIT scaling for hybrid builds

4-Star Budget Options:

• Serpent Spine (BiS 4-Star) — CRIT Rate bonus and stacking damage increase. The best F2P weapon option for Sandrone, especially at refinement 5
• Tidal Shadow — Significant ATK boost when team contains a healer; great F2P alternative
• Mailed Flower — Reaction damage scaling for Stellar-Conduct synergy

Weapon to AVOID:

• The Bell — Usually a strong 4-star Claymore DPS option, but the DMG% it provides does NOT apply to Stellar-Conduct damage. Skip this for Sandrone specifically.

🔮 Best Artifact Set — Disenchantment in Deep Shadow

BiS Set: Disenchantment in Deep Shadow (4-piece)

The new Version 6.7 artifact set is tailor-made for Stellar-Conduct users:

• 2-Piece: Increases Superconduct Reaction DMG by 40%
• 4-Piece: Increases Superconduct Reaction DMG by 80% AND Stellar-Conduct Reaction DMG by 40%. When attacking enemies affected by Superconduct or Stellar-Conduct, this attack's CRIT Rate is increased by 16%

This is Sandrone's best set by far. Even with mediocre substats, Disenchantment in Deep Shadow outperforms any other artifact option. The +16% CRIT Rate bonus is especially valuable when paired with Cryo Resonance (Cryo on Cryo = +15% CRIT Rate against frozen/Cryo-affected enemies).

Alternative Sets (Pre-Farm or Backup):

• Blizzard Strayer (4pc) — Strong Cryo DPS general set; Freeze team alternative when not running Stellar-Conduct
• Marechaussee Hunter (4pc) — HP-fluctuating builds; less optimal for Sandrone but functional
• Gladiator's Finale (2pc) + Disenchantment (2pc) — Hybrid bridge while farming full 4-piece

For comprehensive artifact farming priorities, prioritize Disenchantment in Deep Shadow as your immediate farming target — substat optimization within this set matters more than chasing alternative sets.

📊 Main Stats and Substats

Main Stat Priorities:

• Sands of Eon: ATK% (scales Charged Attack and Burst damage)
• Goblet of Eonothem: Cryo DMG Bonus (maximizes heavy elemental multipliers)
• Circlet of Logos: CRIT DMG or CRIT Rate (choose based on ratio balance)

Choose CRIT DMG circlet if running her signature weapon or Disenchantment 4-piece (both provide CRIT Rate elsewhere). Otherwise, CRIT Rate circlet to maintain 1:2 ratio.

Substat Priorities:

1. Energy Recharge — Focus until you have enough to use Elemental Burst every rotation (typically 130-160% depending on team)
2. CRIT Rate — Target 70%+ for consistent crits
3. CRIT DMG — Target 160-200%+ for ceiling builds
4. ATK% — Standard scaling stat
5. Elemental Mastery — Boosts reaction damage; valuable secondary

The Crit ratio for Sandrone trends 1:2 (CRIT Rate to CRIT DMG) — standard for premium Genshin DPS builds. Pushing CRIT Rate past 70% provides diminishing returns; shift remaining substats into ATK% and Elemental Mastery.

🎯 Talent Priority

Sandrone's talent leveling priority is counterintuitive — Normal Attack first, NOT Elemental Burst:

1. Normal Attack (highest priority) — Charged Attack damage scales from Normal Attack talent level. Since Charged Attack is the core of her damage rotation, this matters more than Burst leveling
2. Elemental Skill — Resource generation and Decoding Power Meter mechanics
3. Elemental Burst — Important but last to max because Burst rotations are less frequent than Charged Attack windows

Level Normal Attack to 9-10 first, then Elemental Skill, then Burst. This sequence is the opposite of most Genshin DPS characters and is one of Sandrone's most unique optimization quirks.

👥 Best Team Compositions

Team #1: Cryo-Electro Stellar-Conduct Exclusive (BiS)

• Sandrone (Main DPS)
• Yae Miko (Electro Sub-DPS — fast off-field Electro application for Stellar-Conduct)
• Qiqi (Cryo healer — fast Cryo application + sustain)
• Escoffier (Cryo support — additional Cryo application and team buffs)

This is the consensus best team for maximum Sandrone damage ceiling. Yae Miko's totems provide consistent off-field Electro, Qiqi and Escoffier double down on Cryo application, and all three pair with Sandrone's Stellar-Conduct reaction system. Phase 2 reruns of 6.7 (Raiden Shogun + Citlali) replace Yae Miko/Escoffier for even higher ceilings.

Team #2: Phase 2 Synergy (Sandrone + Phase 2 Reruns)

• Sandrone (Main DPS)
• Raiden Shogun (Electro battery + burst damage)
• Citlali (Cryo support with team-wide elemental synergy)
• Sucrose (Anemo support with Elemental Mastery boost)

Phase 2 of Version 6.7 features Raiden Shogun and Citlali reruns, both of which synergize directly with Sandrone's Stellar-Conduct identity. Pulling Sandrone Phase 1 + Raiden/Citlali Phase 2 builds the complete Stellar-Conduct team in a single version.

Team #3: Freeze Variant (No Stellar-Conduct)

• Sandrone (Main DPS)
• Furina (Hydro applicator + team damage buff)
• Kazuha (Anemo Swirl + RES shred)
• Healer or Shielder (Zhongli, Kokomi)

For Travelers without Electro options, Sandrone can run a traditional Freeze composition. Lower ceiling than Stellar-Conduct teams but accessible to most accounts. Pairs well with Blizzard Strayer artifact set instead of Disenchantment.

Team #4: Budget F2P Composition

• Sandrone (Main DPS)
• Fischl (4-star Electro off-field, Stellar-Conduct enabler)
• Sucrose (4-star Anemo support)
• Diona or Barbara (4-star healer)

For F2P or accounts without premium Electro supports, Fischl's Oz provides consistent off-field Electro application that triggers Stellar-Conduct reliably. Sucrose adds Swirl utility and Elemental Mastery boosting. Budget composition still functional for endgame content.

🌟 Constellation Priorities

Sandrone's constellation value distribution (community consensus from beta):

• C1 — Strong early damage gain, accessible power spike
• C2 — Another significant damage increase
• C3 — Talent level boost (standard Genshin pattern)
• C4 — Moderate utility increase
• C5 — Least impactful constellation (skip if budget-conscious)
• C6 — Major power spike; her ceiling unlock

For Travelers chasing maximum ceiling: target C1 or C2 first as accessible power spikes. C6 is whale territory but represents her absolute ceiling. C5 specifically is the lowest priority — skip it if pulling for higher Constellations.

🎯 Pull Strategy for Sandrone's Banner

Pull Sandrone if:

• You want the strongest Cryo DPS of the Luna cycle
• You enjoy Stellar-Conduct reaction-based gameplay
• You have established Electro sub-DPS (Yae Miko, Fischl, Raiden)
• You have 160-180 wishes saved for guaranteed pity
• You can also afford the signature weapon
• You're a Harbinger collector or lore enthusiast

Skip Sandrone if:

• You're saving for Snezhnaya Version 7.0 launch (Tsaritsa banner expected)
• You already have a strong Cryo DPS (Ganyu, Ayaka, Lohen optimized)
• Your Primogem reserves don't cover character + signature
• You don't have Electro support options for Stellar-Conduct teams

📅 Sandrone Banner Timeline

• July 1, 2026 — Sandrone banner opens (Phase 1 of Version 6.7)
• July 21, 2026 — Phase 1 closes; Phase 2 opens with Raiden Shogun + Citlali reruns
• August 12, 2026 — Version 6.7 ends; Version 7.0 Snezhnaya launches

The 21-day Phase 1 banner window is standard Genshin duration. Plan your pulls within this window — Sandrone's next rerun could be many patches away as Snezhnaya content takes meta priority.

💡 Build Tips for Sandrone

• Stellar-Conduct is non-negotiable for ceiling — Build Cryo + Electro teams; don't run pure Cryo mono
• Decoding Power Meter management — Don't let it max out and trigger Overdrive at the wrong time
• Charged Attack focus, not Burst spam — Charged Attack is her main damage source, not Burst
• Disenchantment in Deep Shadow is mandatory — Even bad rolls outperform alternatives
• Avoid The Bell — DMG% doesn't apply to Stellar-Conduct damage
• Talent priority: Normal Attack first — Counterintuitive but correct for her kit
• Fast Cryo + Electro application matters — 4-second intervals trigger Stellar-Conduct stacks
• C1/C2 are accessible power spikes — C6 is whale tier, C5 is the worst constellation
• Phase 2 synergy with Raiden + Citlali — Plan dual-Phase pulls if budget allows
