How to Clear Imaginarium Theater in Genshin Impact 7.2
By Sir Ayup
The Imaginarium Theater in Genshin Impact resets every month, and the Version 7.2 season, which runs through November, shifts the focus to Hydro, Electro and Geo. The new lineup opens with Yelan, Aino, Flins, Fischl, Zhongli and Kachina, while Qiqi, Odette, Vesna and Jahoda join as Special Guest Stars. At gamemarket.gg, we break down this season's rules, the strongest teams for every budget, the rewards and the tips that help you secure a full clear. We update this guide every month when a new season begins.
Current Season: Version 7.2 (November 2026)
- Season: 29
- Dates: November 1, 2026, 04:00 to December 1, 2026, 03:59 (server time)
- Version: the Version 7.2 season. It opens on November 1, a few days before the 7.2 update on November 4, and runs until December 1, covering most of Version 7.2's first month
- Alternate Cast elements: Hydro, Electro and Geo
- Opening Characters: Yelan, Aino, Flins, Fischl, Zhongli and Kachina
- Special Guest Stars: Qiqi, Odette, Vesna and Jahoda
- New Thespian Tricks: Ineffa, Aino, Arataki Itto and Thoma, available from Wolfy with Toy Medals
Server reset times differ by region. For example, the Asia server resets at 20:00 UTC on October 31, while the America server resets at 09:00 UTC on November 1.
New in Version 7.2: Mitya (5★ Electro Catalyst) and Valeriy (4★ Electro Sword) arrive with the update on November 4. Both are Electro, so they can join this season's Alternate Cast once you own them. We will add team notes for both after their release, once their full kits can be tested in game.
How Imaginarium Theater Works
Imaginarium Theater is a monthly endgame mode where you build a roster before each run instead of using your usual teams.
Opening Characters are the season's featured units. If you own any of them, you receive the Fantastical Blessing, which increases Max HP, ATK and DEF by 20% both inside and outside the theater. If you do not own them, trial versions are provided, but trials cannot be lent as Supporting Cast.
Alternate Cast are the other characters you bring, and they must match the season's elements. Special Guest Stars ignore the element rule but must be owned or borrowed from a friend. They receive double buff effects, but they do not benefit from the element-based Brilliant Blessings.
Vigor limits how often you can use each character. Every character has 2 Vigor, and each stage requires a party of four.
Roster Size by Difficulty
- Easy: 8 to 10 characters, Lv. 60
- Normal: 12 to 14 characters, Lv. 60
- Hard: 16 to 20 characters, Lv. 70
- Visionary: 22 to 26 characters, Lv. 70
- Lunar: 28 to 32 characters, Lv. 70
Each character you add above the minimum raises your Blessing Level by 2. You can also lend up to 7 characters as Supporting Cast, and each borrowed character can be used 15 times per season.
What This Season's Elements Mean
With Hydro and Electro both available, the season leans heavily toward Electro-Charged and Lunar-Charged teams. Flins and Aino are both part of the Lunar-Charged setup, and the new Ineffa Thespian Trick points in the same direction.
Geo adds a very different option. Zhongli remains one of the best shielders for keeping a team alive, while Kachina gives free-to-play players a reliable Geo unit.
Because there is no Pyro, Cryo, Anemo or Dendro in the Alternate Cast, characters from those elements can only join through the Special Guest Star slots. Plan around Qiqi as a healer if you own her, since she is one of the few non-season units you can bring.
Recommended Teams
Lunar-Charged (Main Team)
- Flins (main damage)
- Ineffa or Fischl (Electro support)
- Aino (Hydro enabler)
- Yelan or Zhongli (damage support or shield)
This is the season's strongest core if you own Flins and Ineffa. Aino is available to everyone as an Opening Character trial if you do not own her.
Hydro Carry
- Neuvillette or Furina as the main focus
- Yelan for extra Hydro damage
- Fischl for off-field Electro
- Zhongli for shielding
Furina returns in the Version 7.2 banners, so this core becomes easier to build later in the season.
Geo Team
- Navia or Arataki Itto (main damage)
- Zhongli (shield)
- Kachina or Gorou (Geo support)
- Chiori or Yun Jin (extra damage or buffs)
Geo teams are a good backup when your Vigor runs low on the Electro and Hydro units.
Free-to-Play Options
If your roster is limited, these 4★ characters fit the season well:
- Hydro: Aino, Xingqiu, Candace
- Electro: Fischl, Beidou, Kujou Sara, Kuki Shinobu
- Geo: Kachina, Noelle, Ningguang, Yun Jin
A simple Fischl, Xingqiu, Beidou and Kachina team covers damage, Hydro application and survivability for the easier acts.
Rewards
- Performance Tour: up to 800 Primogems for Acts 1 to 10, plus 200 more from the two Lunar-only Arcana Challenges
- Debut Performance: a one-time 1,500 Primogems, plus 300 for the Lunar Arcana Challenges, with a Crown of Insight on Act 10
- Lunar full clear: extra rewards including 600,000 Mora and 3 Toy Medals
- Stella rewards: materials at 3, 6, 9 and 12 Stella
The 9-Stella Elixir realistically needs Visionary difficulty or higher.
Tips for a Full Clear
- Level more characters to 70. Hard, Visionary and Lunar all require Lv. 70, and roster size matters more than a few strong units.
- Save Vigor for the final acts. Use weaker teams early so your strongest units are available for the last stages.
- Borrow from friends. Supporting Cast can fill gaps, especially for Opening Characters and Special Guest Stars you do not own.
- Pick Brilliant Blessings that match your main team. Blessings that support your strongest reaction are worth more than generic stat boosts.
- Keep a shielder or healer in reserve. Zhongli and Qiqi make later stages much safer.
The bosses for each act had not been listed when this update was written, so check the in-game details before committing your strongest units to a stage.
