Genshin 6.7 Final Day Checklist — Sandrone Banner Ready in 24 Hours

Genshin Impact Version 6.7 launches in just 24 hours, going live July 1, 2026 — and the next day is the most critical window of the entire Luna chapter. This is the final patch of the Lunar cycle (no Version 6.8 follows), Sandrone debuts as the headline 5-star Cryo Claymore DPS, Citlali reruns in Phase 1, and Columbina and Raiden Shogun rerunin Phase 2. Every Primogem unspent, every event task uncompleted, and every expiring currency unredeemed is a permanent loss after maintenance hits. This is the final 24-hour countdown action plan covering exactly what to do hour-by-hour before servers close, what happens at maintenance, and how to win the first 24 hours of Version 6.7. For the broader 3-week preparation framework, see our Genshin Impact 6.7 Preview.

⏰ The 24-Hour Window — Why It Matters

The last 24 hours before a major patch launch is the most expensive period to be unprepared. Travelers who treat July 1 like just another day lose value across multiple categories:

• 🟢 Expiring currencies — Event shop tokens, limited-time materials, and seasonal Mora bundles wipe at maintenance
• 🟢 Spiral Abyss reset — Version 6.6 Phase 2 Spiral Abyss closes; final completion window is now
• 🟢 Final event quests — Version 6.6 events become uncompleteable after maintenance
• 🟢 Welkin Moon timing — If your subscription expires before launch, you miss the V6.7 daily Genesis Crystals
• 🟢 Resin overflow — Resin caps build up; using it before launch maximizes resource conversion
• 🟢 Patch pre-download — HoYoverse typically opens pre-download 24-48 hours before launch; downloading now avoids launch-day server congestion

If you've already followed the 3-week preparation plan, this article is your final-hour checklist. If you haven't started preparing yet, this is your last opportunity to set up properly for Version 6.7.

🚨 T-24h: The Critical Last Day Checklist

Use the next 24 hours systematically. Every hour matters.

🕐 T-24h to T-18h (Today's Morning)

Spiral Abyss Final Reset Push:

• Complete Spiral Abyss Floor 12 if you haven't already — Primogem rewards expire with version reset
• If you're stuck on Floor 11 or below, target whatever floor you can clear for maximum Primogems before reset
• Don't skip this — Spiral Abyss is the largest single Primogem source per cycle

Resin Burn Plan:

• Plan your resin budget — Original Resin caps at 200; don't let it sit unused
• Prioritize Cryo materials (Hoarfrost Core, Talent Books) if pulling Sandrone
• Use Condensed Resin for boss fights with Cryo character drops
• Spend Fragile Resin reserves on weekly bosses if you have surplus

🕔 T-18h to T-12h (Today's Afternoon)

Event Shop Cleanup:

• Sweep ALL active Version 6.6 event shop tokens — they convert or wipe at maintenance
• Priority spends: Event-exclusive Crown of Insight, Mora bundles, Talent/Weapon Ascension materials
• Don't leave any event shop currency behind — historical patches have either converted at unfavorable rates or wiped entirely
• Double-check the "Events" tab for ALL active events; don't assume you've seen them all

Daily Commission Streak Maintenance:

• Complete today's 4 daily commissions if you haven't — last 60 Primogems before reset
• Claim the daily login bonus
• Sweep stamina-based content (random commissions, weekly bosses if not done)

🕘 T-12h to T-6h (Today's Evening)

Welkin / Battle Pass Status Check:

• If Welkin Moon subscription is active, verify daily Primogem collection is consistent
• If Welkin is set to expire today, decide whether to renew before V6.7 (recommended for Sandrone pulls)
• If Battle Pass tier completion is close to next reward tier, push the final tasks before reset
• Don't miss BP rewards stacked between today and tomorrow

Story Catch-Up (CRITICAL for V6.7):

• Version 6.7 is the FINAL Lunar cycle patch — the Archon Quest content sets up the Snezhnaya arc
• If you're behind on Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, or Luna chapter Archon Quests, this is your last window to catch up before the finale
• Story Quest prerequisites may gate access to V6.7 Archon Quest content
• If you can't complete missing story, at least watch story summary videos to understand the V6.7 narrative payoff

🕧 T-6h to T-2h (Last Few Hours Before Maintenance)

Final Inventory Sweep:

• Check Realm Currency in Serenitea Pot — collect before reset
• Check Trust Rank rewards if Serenitea Pot was active
• Verify Primogem balance is what you expect for Sandrone pulls (target: 160+ wishes for guaranteed pity)
• Confirm any pending mail rewards are claimed

Pre-Download Initiation:

• Open the game launcher — HoYoverse typically enables pre-download 24-48h before launch
• Begin downloading the V6.7 patch in the background
• Mobile users: connect to Wi-Fi for the download to avoid cellular data charges
• PC/PlayStation users: ensure at least 15-20 GB free storage
• If pre-download isn't available yet, set a reminder to download immediately when it opens

🕘 T-2h to T-0 (Final Hour Before Maintenance)

Final Login Checks:

• Claim today's daily login Primogems
• Complete remaining daily commissions
• Spend remaining Original Resin (don't let it sit at cap during maintenance)
• Check Crystallized Crystals from Crystalfly catches and Geo-related farms
• Run final Domain runs if expecting good Artifact rolls during last hour

Maintenance Begins:

• Servers go offline for ~5-6 hours
• Use this downtime to read patch notes when HoYoverse releases them
• Skim community theorycrafting for Sandrone optimal builds (covered in our Sandrone Build Guide)
• Review Pull Strategy if you're still deciding (covered in our Sandrone Pull Analysis)
• Pre-download finishes during maintenance window

🚀 T+0: Server Goes Live — Launch Day Action Plan

Step 1: Login Immediately

• Servers reopen at 04:00 server time (Asia, America, or Europe respectively)
• Login immediately to claim version reset login bonus
• Patch any final updates if needed (rare with proper pre-download)

Step 2: Mail Sweep

• HoYoverse delivers version maintenance compensation (typically 300+ Primogems)
• Claim ALL pending mail before anything expires
• Don't miss the special V6.7 launch bonus mail
• Check for free Primogem packages associated with the Lunar finale

Step 3: Redeem Launch-Day Codes

• HoYoverse typically releases new redeem codes alongside major version launches
• Check official HoYoverse channels (Twitter/X, Instagram, official site, in-game notice board)
• Note: Version 6.7 Special Program livestream codes already expired (released June 18, expired June 21 PT)
• For permanent active codes, see our Genshin Impact Active Codes reference
• Redeem at the official redemption site or in-game settings

Step 4: Pre-Wish Decision Lock-In

• Don't pull immediately — verify your Primogem count and pity status first
• Check your last 5-star pull (was it standard or limited? Did you lose a 50/50?)
• Calculate guaranteed-pity wishes needed (80-90 wishes for soft pity, 160 wishes for hard guarantee)
• Review the Wish System guide if uncertain about pity mechanics

🎯 The First 24 Hours After Launch

Hour 1-6 (Server Reopening):

• Login, claim mail, redeem codes
• Wait until peak congestion subsides before launching wishes (servers may be slow first hour)
• Confirm Sandrone banner is live (banners go live with maintenance reset)
• Make your first 10-pull strategically — don't burn pity in random single pulls

Hour 6-12 (Story Unlock Window):

• The V6.7 Archon Quest unlocks immediately for eligible accounts
• Begin the Lunar cycle finale story — this content sets up Snezhnaya in Version 7.0
• New event content opens with the version launch
• Complete Day 1 daily commissions in V6.7's new map regions

Hour 12-24 (Strategic Build):

• Visit Domains if Sandrone pulled — start farming Cryo Domain materials
• Spend Resin on Cryo Bossess if Sandrone needs ascension materials
• Activate Welkin/Battle Pass if you renewed
• Plan Phase 2 saving strategy for Columbina/Raiden Shogun reruns

💎 Wish Math for Sandrone — Final Calculations

Before you commit to pulling, verify your Wish economy.

Primogem-to-Wish Conversion:

• 1 Wish = 160 Primogems
• 1 Acquaint Fate / Intertwined Fate = 1 free wish from Stardust shop
• Pity activates at 90 wishes (hard guarantee 5-star), soft pity kicks in ~75 wishes

Guaranteed Sandrone Pity (50/50 Lost Scenario):

• If you lost your previous limited 50/50, next limited 5-star is guaranteed
• Approximately 90 wishes = ~14,400 Primogems = guaranteed Sandrone
• This is the "worst case" budget — most pulls hit at 75-80 wishes

Won 50/50 / Fresh Banner Scenario:

• 50% chance Sandrone, 50% chance standard 5-star
• Approximately 180 wishes = ~28,800 Primogems for guaranteed Sandrone if you lose 50/50
• Plan for the worst case to avoid heartbreak

Signature Weapon (5-Star Sandrone Claymore):

• Additional 80-160 wishes for weapon banner
• Weapon banner has different pity mechanics (75-wish soft pity, 80-wish hard pity, Epitomized Path for guaranteed signature)
• Total cost for Sandrone + Signature: ~320-400+ wishes for guaranteed completion
• Most F2P players skip signature weapon — use 4-star or standard 5-star claymore alternatives

🎁 Free Primogem Sources at Launch

HoYoverse typically distributes free Primogems at major patch launches:

• Maintenance Compensation: 300 Primogems (standard)
• Bug Fix Compensation: Additional 100-200 Primogems for specific issues
• Daily Login Web Event: 7-day cycle of bonus Primogems
• Lunar Cycle Finale Bonus: Special Primogem bonus for the Lunar arc closing patch
• Pre-Registration / Anniversary Catch-up: Account-specific reward batches
• Total Day 1 Free Primogems: Approximately 300-600+ from various sources

Collect ALL free sources before committing to pulls. Even 300 free Primogems = 2 free wishes.

🎯 First-Pull Strategy

If you're pulling Sandrone, your first 10-pull or single-pull approach matters:

Recommended Pull Pattern:

1. Make your FIRST pull a single (1 wish) — read the result before committing more
2. If you hit Sandrone early (1-30 wishes), STOP and plan Phase 2 strategy
3. If you don't hit Sandrone by wish 75, push through soft pity carefully
4. Hard pity activates at 90 — full guarantee at this point
5. Avoid 10-pulls during the first 60 wishes — single wishes give finer control

Don't Rush:

• Banner runs until end of Phase 1 (~3 weeks)
• You don't need to pull Day 1 — pace your wishes across the banner window
• Day 1 server congestion can cause wish animation lag — patient pulling is fine

🛡️ Phase 2 Saving Strategy

If you're targeting Phase 2 (Columbina + Raiden Shogun reruns), don't drain Phase 1 budget:

• Phase 1 closes approximately 3 weeks after launch (mid-July)
• Phase 2 opens immediately after Phase 1 closes
• Reserve at least 90 wishes (~14,400 Primogems) per Phase 2 character you target
• Columbina Phase 2 = first rerun since her debut — last chance for many account-builders
• Raiden Shogun rerun = essential for Electro teams and account roster gap-fillers

⚠️ Common Day-1 Mistakes to Avoid

• Pulling on lost 50/50 without checking pity — Verify your pity counter before committing
• Burning resin on wrong materials — Cryo Domain materials before Sandrone confirms; switch IF you don't pull her
• Ignoring the version mail — Free Primogems wait there; claim before pulling
• Skipping login bonus claims — Daily login streak resets affect future Primogem income
• Pulling during peak server congestion — Wait 2-3 hours after server open for smoother experience
• Missing the Archon Quest unlock — Lunar cycle finale content is core to the patch
• Forgetting Welkin/Battle Pass — Active subscriptions stack value during patch transitions
• Not pre-downloading the patch — Day 1 download = significantly slower experience
• Pulling 10x as "first attempt" — Single pulls give better pity control early in your wish sequence
• Ignoring Spiral Abyss reset Primogems — Free Primogems from cycle reset add to your Sandrone budget

📋 Critical Lunar Cycle Context

Version 6.7 closes the Lunar chapter of Genshin Impact's main storyline. Several long-term consequences emerge:

• No Version 6.8: Version 7.0 launches Snezhnaya region directly after 6.7
• Snezhnaya Setup: 6.7 Archon Quest content directly establishes V7.0 Tsaritsa narrative
• Harbinger Roster Activation: Phase 2 Columbina alongside ongoing Harbinger storyline buildup signals the full Fatui Harbinger cast is finally entering active narrative
• Lunar Cycle Mechanics: Any Lunar-specific systems may transition or be retired in V7.0
• Pulling Forward-Looking: Sandrone (Cryo + Harbinger) is positioned as a strong account-builder ahead of Snezhnaya's Cryo-focused content

💡 Last-Hour Decision Framework

If you're still on the fence about pulling Sandrone, apply this final decision test:

Pull Sandrone if:

• Your roster lacks a strong Cryo DPS
• You're invested in the Genshin storyline approaching Snezhnaya
• You have 160+ wishes saved (full guaranteed pity)
• You collect Harbinger characters
• You play freeze, melt, or reverse-melt team compositions

Skip Sandrone if:

• You already have a strong Cryo DPS (Ganyu, Ayaka, Wriothesley alternative for Cryo Claymore)
• You're saving for Phase 2 Columbina or Raiden Shogun reruns specifically
• You're under 80 wishes saved (high risk of losing 50/50 without recovery budget)
• Your account is early-game (sub-AR 40) and needs foundation 4-stars first

📊 Live Patch Notes Reading Strategy

When patch notes drop alongside V6.7 maintenance, focus on:

1. Sandrone's confirmed kit — Multipliers, scaling, talent priorities, weapon banner specifics
2. Phase 2 character announcements — Confirms Columbina and Raiden Shogun banner dates
3. Free Primogem package details — Total free Primogems available across the patch
4. New event lineup — Events that affect Primogem income and Material drops
5. Story Quest unlocks — Archon Quest prerequisites and timing
6. Balance changes — Character or Artifact set adjustments
7. Bug fixes — Known issues resolved at launch
