Epic Seven New Moon Luna: Majestic Bunny Girl — How to Get Ep news image

The Majestic Bunny Girl skin for New Moon Luna is free, and the only thing you have to do to get it is log in on 27 August. No event grind, no cumulative milestone, no purchase. That makes it the least demanding reward of the entire 8th Anniversary — and the one most likely to be missed by anyone who takes a week off.

The skin is the payout on the 2025 Hero Popularity Poll, which New Moon Luna won outright. Smilegate opened the showcase by apologising for how long it took to ship. Here's what's actually attached to it, and what else lands the same day.

What the skin is

A bunny girl-themed skin for New Moon Luna, the 5★ Moonlight Mage. It is a cosmetic — no stat changes, no skill changes, no gameplay effect. What it carries is scarcity: poll-winner skins arrive once, tied to a specific anniversary, and Epic Seven does not habitually re-run free login cosmetics.

It is also the first of a series. Smilegate confirmed more bunny girl skins are coming, starting with a Celestial Ilynav version awarded through the 2026 World Arena Summer Season — that one is a competitive reward, not a login gift.

How to claim it

Log in on 27 August. That's the whole requirement.

Two caveats that catch people out:

  • Check your server's reset, not your local calendar. The anniversary period runs 27 August to 29 October, and the boundary is server time.
  • Claim it from your inbox. Free rewards distribute to the mailbox, and mail expires. Don't leave it sitting.

Do you need New Moon Luna to care?

This is the real question, and for a large share of the playerbase the answer is "not yet."

New Moon Luna is a Moonlight 5★, pulled from Covenant, Moonlight and Mystic summons. She isn't guaranteed, isn't selectable, and plenty of accounts don't have her. A skin for a hero you don't own is a screenshot of something you can't use.

Which is exactly why the summons matter more than the skin. The anniversary hands out 20 free Covenant Summons per day for 63 days — 1,260 total. That is the realistic path to Luna for anyone who doesn't already have her, and it costs nothing but showing up.

The practical read: treat the skin as the reminder, not the reward. Logging in daily for 63 days is what the anniversary is actually asking, and the skin is the thing that gets you in the door on day one.

What else lands on 27 August

Festival of Shining Moments — a cumulative milestone event running alongside the daily summons. Its rewards are the substantial ones:

  • Limited 5★ Hero and Artifact Selection Chests
  • A Natalon Academy Moonlight 5★ Hero Selector
  • Unknown Slate and Potion of Knowledge for Limit Breaks
  • Summon Tickets and commemorative items

Cumulative means it accrues over the period. Unlike the login skin, this one punishes gaps — and a selector you fail to reach is a 5★ you simply don't get.

The 8th Anniversary Popularity Poll also runs, awarding 8th Anniversary Coins for participating, exchangeable for Summon Tickets and other rewards. Voting takes a minute and pays.

Claim the showcase rewards now

Most of the showcase watch rewards are already redeemable by coupon code — you don't have to wait for the update:

  • 80 Gold Transmit Stones
  • 8,000,000 Gold
  • 80 Greater Universal Equipment Charm Selection Chests

The exception is Lisette's Ring of Eternal Bond (Speed 20), which distributes after the 8th Anniversary update rather than by code.

Coupon codes expire. If you've watched the showcase and haven't redeemed, do it before you finish reading the rest of this.

The rest of the anniversary update

The skin is the headline, but it isn't the substance. Landing across the period:

Paradise Lost — a new Side Episode set in the 1st World, the earliest era in Epic Seven's timeline, where the world repeatedly collapses and is rebuilt.

Lisette — alter ego of the Goddess Diche, a Light Soul Weaver built around reviving and restoring allies.

Uncharted Pioneer Politis — Politis as she was when she first arrived on Orbis, with mechanics that shift her role.

Chaos Zero Nightmare collaboration (September) — Renoa, Haru and Mei Lin join Epic Seven. Renoa is free during the event; Haru and Mei Lin arrive on Limited Summons. Collab content also appears in Witchaven.

Dimensional Exploration — a new roguelike PvE mode.

Call of Chaos — a real-time PvP mode in the World Arena built around Destiny, a powerful effect chosen during the match.

Steam release — confirmed for the second half of 2026, with account linking and gamepad support. The wishlist campaign is live now.

E7WC 2026 — in-game preliminaries start 12 September, Grand Finals on 28 November.

What to actually do this week

  1. Log in on 27 August. Non-negotiable if you want the skin.
  2. Redeem the showcase coupon codes today. Gold, Transmit Stones and Charm Chests, sitting there for free.
  3. Set a daily habit for the full 63 days. 20 summons a day only works if you take all 63 days of it.
  4. Track Festival of Shining Moments against its ceiling. It's cumulative, so falling behind early costs you the selectors at the top.
  5. Vote in the Popularity Poll. Free coins for a minute of clicking.

None of this requires spending. The anniversary's best rewards — the summons, the selectors, the skin — are all on the free track. What they require is attendance.

Build the roster the summons deserve

1,260 free summons are worth far more on an account that already has the gear, the Limit Breaks and the roster depth to use what drops — and that's the slow half of any Epic Seven account.
