Epic Seven August Update: World Arena Fall 2026 Season Is Live
By Sir Ayup 8 August 2026, 22:00 WIB
Epic Seven's August update went live after maintenance on August 6, 2026, and the headline change lands today: the World Arena Fall 2026 Season begins at 05:00 UTC, replacing the Pre-Season with a fresh set of Warfare Rules, a full frame and reward reset, and updated support hero lists. Alongside the season reset, the update brings back a Special Side Story, adds new Exclusive Equipment for two heroes, rotates the Mystic Summon lineup, and opens a new Epic★Pass season. Here's everything Heirs need to know.
World Arena Fall 2026 Season
The World Arena Pre-Season closed at 02:59 UTC today, and the Fall 2026 Season opened immediately after at 05:00 UTC across all servers (Global, Europe, Asia, Korea, and Japan). The season's end date hasn't been announced yet.
Entry requirements are unchanged from previous seasons: Account Rank 60 or above, with at least 5 Heroes from each class at 2★ or higher (30 non-material Heroes total).
The Fall 2026 Season introduces its own Warfare Rules, which apply across all World Arena matches for the duration of the season:
- Offense: Soulburn skill damage increased by 15%
- Defense: Recovery amount and barrier strength increased by 30%
- Special: Evasion decreased by 30%
- Resistance: Effect Resistance increased by 50%
That combination pushes the meta toward sustain and control over pure evasion-based builds — barriers and healing hit harder, dodge-tank strategies get weaker, and Soulburn-reliant skills deal noticeably more damage. If your current World Arena team leans on Evasion sets to survive, this is the season to reconsider that build.
Season rewards are tied to final league placement, with a matching cosmetic frame for each tier: Brilliant Savior (Legend League), Ironblood Lord (Emperor League), Hellfire Commandant (Warlord League), Honorable Knight (Champion League), Tempest Fighter (Challenger League), and Oath of Genesis for Master League or below. Anyone who plays at least one Arena match this season, including placement matches, also receives a Background Pack. A new Epic Skin for Lone Crescent Bellona is tied to the season as well, with images to be revealed separately.
The World Arena lobby and battle backgrounds have been refreshed for the new season, and a new Battle BGM track, "Ritual Vestments of Fire," has been added to the in-game Music Player for anyone Account Rank 60 or above.
"Intense! Tropical Days!!" returns
The Special Side Story "Intense! Tropical Days!!" is back, running from August 6 through August 27, 02:59 UTC, unlocked after clearing Episode 1, Stage 6-8. The story follows Hwayoung agreeing to Ken's summer bootcamp idea at Natalon Academy, with new illustration rewards unlocked as you clear stages.
Running alongside it is a new mini-game, Operation: Summer Bootcamp, a survival-style mode where you fend off waves of enemies until time runs out. You pick up a random offensive weapon on entry, level up by collecting EXP to add auxiliary weapons or upgrade existing ones, and unlock stronger skills through weapon synergies. Progress carries into hero growth: playing with a specific hero earns that hero's exclusive coins, which can be spent to raise their individual stats or boost item effects that drop during runs. All three stages, from the Bootcamp Entrance Ceremony to the score-based Endless Independent Training stage, are accessible regardless of which week the event is on.
New Exclusive Equipment
Two heroes gained Exclusive Equipment with this update: 5★ Young Senya and 5★ Argent Waves Hwayoung. Both are crafted at the Steel Workshop using Wisdom's Gaze, which drops from the Hall of Trials and from Shadow Company Request Rewards, with stats applied randomly on crafting.
Mystic Summon rotation
The Mystic Summon lineup rotated with this update and runs from August 6 through August 27, 02:59 UTC. The featured 5★ heroes are Lone Wolf Peira, Dark Corvus, and Sage Baal & Sezan, with New Kid Adin and Blood Moon Haste featured at 4★.
Epic★Pass: "Silver Moon Night's Invitation"
A new Epic★Pass season opened August 6 and runs through September 3, 02:59 UTC. Its centerpiece reward is the "Lua: Silver Moon Night's Blossom" skin, a 2025 ECL-themed cosmetic for the 5★ Covenant Hero Lua that changes her illustration and cutscenes when equipped. As with previous Epic Pass seasons, Season EXP comes from completing missions or, alternatively, spending Skystone directly to raise Season Rank, and the pass can be upgraded to Premium or Special tiers for additional reward tracks.
Seasonal Battle Content and Shadow Company
The rotating seasonal content — Automaton Tower, God of Battle's Colosseum, and Trial of the Constellations — also refreshed on August 6 and runs through August 27, 02:59 UTC. Completing Shadow Information Broker requests through this content earns Shadow Tokens, which raise your Reward Rank and can be spent at the Shadow Company shop. Both Shadow Tokens and Shadow Coins reset when the seasonal content rotates, so it's worth spending down what you have before the next rotation rather than letting it carry over and vanish.
God of Battle's Colosseum specifically moved to version 8.5 with this update, adding a Quick Promotion feature for anyone who finished the previous season in Champion League or higher, along with partial updates to Support and NPC Hero lists and a softer penalty for failing a Promotion Match.
Shop and Epic Dash
The Epic Dash Buff Part 2 bonus, tied to the ongoing Summer celebration, is now active continuously through August 27, 02:59 UTC rather than on a limited schedule. A handful of new packs also arrived alongside the update, including a one-time Epic Dash Lobby Pack (900 Skystone) and an Otherworldly Hunt Pack limited to three purchases through August 20. The Trial of the Constellations shop period was also extended, now running through October 29.
What to prioritize this week
If you're logging in for the first time since the update, the practical order is: check whether your World Arena team still holds up under the new Warfare Rules, since the Evasion nerf and barrier buff can flip matchups that felt settled last season; clear your placement matches early to lock in the Background Pack; and pick up "Intense! Tropical Days!!" if you enjoyed the original run, since the illustration rewards don't carry over once the event period ends.
