Clash of Clans x WWE Returns for September 2026: Search for Cena, Six Hero Skins and What It All Costs

Supercell is running its second WWE crossover, and the season theme it has actually teased is "Search for Cena." Six hero skins and a Money in the Bank scenery are lined up across the first ten days of September — but only one of them comes with the Gold Pass. The other five are separate purchases, and at the pricing Supercell used for the April 2025 collaboration, that puts the full set well north of $50 rather than the single transaction the roster images imply.

One more thing before you budget around any of this: most of it is leaked, not announced. Supercell has teased the Cena theme on its own channels. The skin-by-skin dates circulating from datamines have not been officially published, and they already disagree with each other.

What Supercell has actually confirmed

The theme. The official account posted a teaser leaning on Cena's "you can't see me" gimmick, tagged #SearchForCena, following a clip of in-game skeletons performing the hand-wave taunt and another featuring Cena's entrance theme.

That this is a sequel. The first crossover ran through April 2025 as the ClashaMania season, timed around WrestleMania 41, with Supercell sponsoring a Clash of Clans-branded match — the first of its kind at the event.

Everything past that point is leak territory.

The leaked skin roster

Six heroes and one scenery, rolling out across the first ten days:

1 September — Jey Uso on the Minion Prince. Gold tier, and the only item in the set delivered through the Gold Pass reward track rather than as a separate purchase.

2 September — Money in the Bank. XL scenery, not a hero skin.

3 September — Cody Rhodes on the Barbarian King. Legendary.

5 September — Alexa Bliss on the Archer Queen. Legendary.

7 September — IYO SKY on the Royal Champion. Legendary.

8 or 9 September — Kane on the Dragon Duke. Legendary.

10 September — The Undertaker, American Badass era, on the Grand Warden. Legendary.

The Kane date is genuinely disputed. Community trackers list it as the 9th; the release-schedule graphics circulating from video coverage put it on the 8th. Nobody outside Supercell knows yet, and it's a one-day difference that only matters if you're planning a purchase around it.

The Archer Queen is disputed too. Separate leak reporting names Rhea Ripley rather than Alexa Bliss for that slot — Ripley held it in April 2025. Treat the Archer Queen as the least certain entry in the set.

The scenery the roster posts keep leaving out

Money in the Bank is an XL scenery, not a hero skin, and it arrives 2 September — earlier than every Legendary in the set. It converts the village into a gold-drenched arena built around the green Money in the Bank ring, with WWE banners across the whole layout.

Worth calling out because scenery is permanent, applies to your entire village rather than one hero, and is visible in every replay and scout. For a lot of Chiefs it's the better buy of the two categories, and it's the item most of the roster graphics omit entirely.

The season calendar matters more than the skins

This is the part free-to-play players should actually plan around. The cosmetics are optional; the event windows aren't, and several overlap in ways that reward sequencing.

Two clusters to note. The first five days are congested — CWL, Money in the Bank Rush and Battle Options #1 all run simultaneously, and Money in the Bank Rush closes on the 5th. Then Equipment Blast and Battle Options #2 run together from 9–22 September, which is the window to push hero equipment rather than resources.

Resource Fest #1 and #2 are the upgrade windows. Time your heaviest builder spending around 12–14 and 26–28 September, when collector boosts are active.

What this actually costs

The Gold Pass is the only bundled route. Jey Uso on the Minion Prince comes through the Gold Pass reward track. Everything else is bought individually.

At April 2025 pricing, the Legendary King Cody skin sold for $9.99 in the US and ₹899 in India — a single custom model with its own textures, animations and sound effects. Assume similar for each of the five Legendaries this time, plus whatever the XL scenery is priced at.

So the honest framing is: one skin is nearly free if you were buying the Gold Pass anyway, and the complete set is a $50-plus proposition. Any article describing this as a "must-have roster upgrade" is describing six separate purchase decisions as one.

Pick by the hero you actually deploy. A Grand Warden or Barbarian King skin is on screen in every attack you make. A Dragon Duke skin is only worth it if Dragon Duke is in your regular army composition.

If you played the April 2025 collaboration

Check what you already own before buying anything. The first crossover gave Cody Rhodes to the Barbarian King and The Undertaker to the Grand Warden — the same two hero slots appearing again this September.

These are different skins, not reissues: last year's Undertaker was the scythe-wielding Darkness Warden, this year's is the American Badass biker era. But if you bought the first ones, you're buying a second cosmetic for a hero you already have a WWE skin on. That's a fine choice to make deliberately and a poor one to make by accident.

What isn't confirmed

Official skin names, exact prices, whether the Kane skin lands on the 8th or 9th, whether the Archer Queen is Alexa Bliss or Rhea Ripley, what the John Cena Challenge actually rewards, and whether Cena himself gets a hero skin at all — despite headlining the season theme.

That last one is the interesting gap. The season is built around finding Cena, and no leaked skin in the set is Cena. Either something is still unrevealed, or the Challenge is the whole of his involvement.
