Clash of Clans 14th Clashiversary Guide: Every August Deadline

Clash of Clans turned 14 on 2 August 2026, and Supercell has packed the celebration month with more dated windows than any other event cycle this year. Free skins, a temporary troop, a card collection running the full month, doubled resource events, Clan Games and a boosted Epic Equipment window all land on different dates — and several of them expire without warning. The most urgent is the Clashiversary Quests track, which awards a free Royal Enchantress skin on completion. Everything below is organised by deadline, so you can work down the list in the order things actually disappear.
Right now: Clashiversary Quests and the free skin
Supercell has run a set of Clashiversary Quests through the Supercell Store, opening a new quest each day across the celebration window. Completing them all awards the Royal Enchantress, a Royal Champion skin, free.
Along the way the track hands out Clash of Cards Packs, Chests and a Clan Castle Cake decoration. The quests are checked and claimed through the Supercell Store rather than in the game client, which is exactly why players miss them — nothing in your village reminds you they exist.
If you've been logging in and attacking normally but haven't opened the Store, check it before anything else in this guide.
Already passed: Birthday Boom and the cakes
Two anniversary staples landed at the start of the month. A Mass Spell event ran 3–5 August, granting 15 additional Birthday Booms — the returning novelty spell that drops a present containing a bomb, damaging and stunning everything nearby, with the present collectable afterwards by the defender for Elixir.
The Clashiversary Cake obstacle also returned, spawning in villages as it does each anniversary. If one has appeared in yours, it's worth clearing for the resources rather than leaving it as decoration — a new one arrives next year regardless.
9–10 August: free Elephant Rider
The Elephant Rider is this season's temporary, event-exclusive troop — a community-designed unit that charges toward walls, breaks through large segments, and then splits into two separate troops.
It arrives first as a free mass-troop giveaway on 9–10 August, then continues as part of the medal event through the end of the month. Two days is a short window for something free, so set a reminder.
Worth being clear on one point that circulates as confusion: the Elephant Rider is temporary and event-exclusive this season. It isn't a permanent addition to your army camps.
Through 31 August: the medal event
The season's medal event runs to the end of the month, built around the Elephant Rider and following the structure these events have used all year — collect a resource in multiplayer battles to progress a rewards track, earn medals, and trade those medals at the Trader for exclusive rewards including Hero Equipment and skins.
Medal events are consistently the highest-value content in a Clash month for mid-progression accounts, because the Trader stock converts directly into permanent power rather than one-off resources. If your time is limited, this is where it should go after the free giveaways.
15–17 and 29–31 August: Resource Fest and Work for Hire
Both run twice this month, with a 4x boost to collector production plus help from the Goblin Builder.
Time upgrades around these windows rather than through them. Starting a long build the day before a Resource Fest wastes the boost; banking your collectors and spending during it doesn't. For accounts saving toward a Town Hall upgrade, these six days across the month are worth more than a fortnight of normal collecting.
22–28 August: Clan Games
Standard Clan Games week, and the usual advice applies — coordinate with your clan on which challenges to take, avoid burning attacks on low-point tasks, and make sure your clan hits the tier you're aiming for before the final day.
26–31 August: Revenge Deck boosted
The Revenge Deck Epic Equipment is boosted to max level in your Hero Hall for these six days. That's a free trial of equipment you may not own at that level, and a useful window to test whether it deserves your Ore investment before committing.
All month: Clash of Cards
The collection event runs the full month, with trading closing on 2 September at 08:00 UTC.
You collect card packs from battles — two per day, plus an opening batch — and trade duplicates with clanmates through Clan Chat or convert them at the Trader's Card Shop. Milestones award ore and decorations, topping out at 60 different cards for the Manga Fury Prince skin, while completing full rarity sets awards an Elixir Rune, a Dark Elixir Rune, a Gold Rune and a Legendary Chest.
The one thing to internalise: packs opened is not the same as unique cards owned. Duplicates are guaranteed, which makes trading — not attacking — the deciding factor in whether you reach 60. Start asking clanmates early rather than in the final week, and remember the permanent Clash of Cards Collector decoration lets you view collections, including other players', before sending requests.
Three free skins in one month
Unusually, August offers three Royal Champion cosmetics through three different routes:
- Tempest Champion — via the August Gold Pass
- Royal Enchantress — free, via the Clashiversary Quests in the Supercell Store
- Manga Fury Prince — free, via 60 unique cards in Clash of Cards
Two of the three cost nothing but attention. That's the case for treating this month's free tracks as the priority over anything purchasable.
If you only have limited time
In priority order:
- Clashiversary Quests in the Supercell Store — the deadline is immediate and the reward is a free skin.
- The Elephant Rider giveaway on 9–10 August — two days, free troops.
- Your two daily Clash of Cards packs — the only part of the card collection that can't be recovered later.
- Clan Games, 22–28 August — reliable rewards for coordinated effort.
- Resource Fest windows — time your upgrades around 15–17 and 29–31 August.
- Everything else as time allows.
