CODM x HI3 Operators Arrive 10 September in Three Draws
By Rivan Wi 3 September 2026, 14:00 WIB
Call of Duty: Mobile has confirmed the Honkai Impact 3rd crossover's headline characters. Kiana, Mei and Bronya arrive as Legendary Operators on 10 September, distributed across three different Draws.
Two words in that announcement do a lot of work, and both correct assumptions that have been circulating.
Legendary, not Mythic. And three Draws, not one.
Here's what that means for what you'll actually pay, what's genuinely free, and how the collaboration's separate strands fit together.
What's confirmed
- Honkai Impact 3rd-inspired Legendary Operators arrive 10 September.
- They're distributed across three different Draws.
- Official key art shows the Herrscher trio — Raiden Mei, Kiana Kaslana and Bronya Zaychik — each carrying weaponry themed to their respective Herrscher Core.
- The announcement came through CODM's Global channel.
Legendary is not Mythic
This distinction has been blurred in a lot of coverage, and it changes the maths considerably.
Mythic sits at the very top of Call of Duty: Mobile's cosmetic hierarchy — the tier with the highest acquisition cost in the game. Legendary sits below it. Both are premium; they are not equivalent.
A great deal of reporting has bundled the trio in with the collaboration's free Mythic weapon promotion, implying the characters themselves might be obtainable through tasks. They aren't. The Operators come through Draws. The free item is a weapon, and it's a separate thing entirely.
If you've been holding CP in the expectation that the Operators would be free, that plan needs revising before the 10th.
Three Draws means three separate commitments
Call of Duty: Mobile's Draw system works on a fixed item pool where each pull removes an item and costs escalate as the pool depletes. The featured item — here, presumably the Operator — sits at the end. Clearing a Draw to guarantee the headline item means working through everything in front of it.
Three Draws means that structure repeats three times.
Anyone wanting all three Herrschers is looking at three separate escalating cost curves, not one shared pool with three prizes in it. There's no efficiency gained by chasing multiple characters — if anything, the opposite, since each Draw restarts the ladder.
The practical advice: pick one. Decide which of the three you actually want before 10 September, while the marketing hasn't started and none of the three has a kit trailer competing for your attention. Committing to one Draw and finishing it is dramatically cheaper than partial progress across all three.
If you're choosing on character rather than mechanics — and with cosmetics, most people are — that decision doesn't need to wait for stats.
What's actually free, and what it costs
The free portion of this collaboration is real, but it's a weapon and it has a price in time rather than CP.
Reporting sourced to CODM's official channels describes one of three Mythic weapons obtainable free: BAL-27 — Core of Reason, Static-HV — Core of Fire, and ISO Hemlock — Core of Thunder, each themed to one of the three Herrschers.
Two details matter more than the headline.
It's described as permanent, not a limited-time trial. That's the distinction that separates a genuine reward from a preview, and it's the reason this promotion drew attention in the first place — Mythics don't normally leave the paid tier.
It's earned through weekly tasks across multiple seasons, with the required effort compared to the harder Secret Cache rewards. That's a months-long commitment, not a weekend of missions.
Treat all of that as unconfirmed until Activision publishes the event details. It comes from community reporting citing official channels rather than from a statement we can verify directly. The shape is probably right; the specifics may shift.
And you pick one. If the choice is one Mythic across a multi-season grind, it's worth deciding which weapon class you actually use before starting — an assault rifle you never field is a poor return on several months of weekly tasks.
The fourth strand: the Rita series
Separately from the trio, official key art has revealed a Rita Rossweisse set: Scylla – Rita Rossweisse as an Operator skin, Grau 5.56 – Rita's Rose as a weapon blueprint, and Aphrodite as a melee weapon.
Rita wasn't part of the original announcement, which showed only the Herrscher trio. Her appearance means the collaboration's roster is broader than first indicated — but how her items are obtained hasn't been announced. Claims that they're free through Secret Cache come from leak accounts, one of which revised its own description of the mechanism.
So the collaboration currently has at least four strands: three Operator Draws, a free weapon track, and the Rita set with unknown distribution.
A note on regions
Call of Duty: Mobile is published by Activision globally and by Garena across Southeast Asia. The 10 September date comes from the Global channel, and regional reporting has cited the same date alongside a rank reset — which suggests the two versions are aligned here.
That hasn't always been the case. Event structures, promotional timing and reward distribution have differed between the two before. If a guide doesn't say which version it's describing, check before planning around it — and confirm the event details in your own client once the season opens.
What isn't known
- Draw pricing and item pools for each of the three Operators.
- Whether the Operators have functional differences or are purely cosmetic.
- The free Mythic's task requirements — how many weeks, which seasons, what the objectives are.
- Whether choosing one Mythic locks out the other two permanently.
- How the Rita series is obtained — free, drawn or purchased.
- Whether operator-specific weapon blueprints accompany each Draw.
How to decide before the 10th
Pick your Operator now. One Draw finished beats three Draws half-finished, and you don't need pricing to know which of the three characters you'd rather own.
Pick your Mythic on weapon class, not on character. A months-long grind should end with a gun you'll actually use. The Herrscher theming is the same quality across all three; the BAL-27, Static-HV and ISO Hemlock are not the same weapon.
Don't spend before the 10th. Season store contents and Draw pricing aren't published, and CP spent on the current season's tail is CP unavailable when the Draws open.
Wait for the official event breakdown before committing to the free Mythic track. If the weekly tasks turn out to demand more time than you'll realistically give, knowing that on day one is better than abandoning it in month two.
Preparing your loadout
Three Draws and a multi-season Mythic grind both land on whatever account you bring to them — and rank, weapon levels and unlocked attachments are the slow half of any Call of Duty: Mobile profile. Browse verified Call of Duty: Mobile accounts if you'd rather enter the collaboration from a developed loadout, book Call of Duty: Mobile hourly services to keep weekly event tasks moving once the free Mythic track opens, or push rank before the season resets through Call of Duty: Mobile boosting.
