CODM Season 9 Oct 14: Vampires vs Werewolves Battle Pass and Events
By Sir Ayup 9 October 2026, 06:00 WIB
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 9: Vampires vs Werewolves launches on October 14, 2026, at 5PM PT, and it is the first season in the game's history whose theme was chosen by the community. At gamemarket.gg, we went through the full official announcement: the new Grav Assault Rifle, the player-voted Battle Pass skins, the Leader's Kill Confirmed mode, the Fang Wars faction event, Día de Muertos rewards and every Lucky Draw arriving in the store. Here is what Season 9 brings and what to plan for before it goes live.
The First Community-Voted Season

Season 9 grew out of Your Season, Your Vote, an event that let players decide part of the Battle Pass. The community chose the Vampires vs Werewolves theme, then voted on Operator Skin and Weapon Blueprint designs from competing vampire and werewolf concepts.
Two winners lead the Premium Battle Pass:
- Minotaur: Pack Commander, the winning werewolf design
- Sparrowhawk: Moonlight Vengeance, the winning vampire design
That rivalry carries through the whole season. The faction theme shows up in the Battle Pass, a dedicated faction event, the store and even the calling cards you can earn, so Season 9 feels more like one connected Halloween story than a collection of separate events.
Battle Pass: Free and Premium Rewards

The headline free reward is the Grav Assault Rifle, a new weapon known for its high bullet velocity. Because it sits on the free tier, every player can unlock it without spending, which makes it the most important item in the pass for most accounts. Fast bullet velocity tends to suit players who take mid-to-long range fights, so it is worth testing it in your usual modes once you unlock it.
The free tier also includes weapon charms, calling cards, stickers and camos.
The Premium tier adds the season's main cosmetics:
- Operator Skins: Minotaur: Pack Commander, Sparrowhawk: Moonlight Vengeance, Artery: The Hunter, Calisto: The Witch and Grav: Solstice Herald
- Weapon Blueprints: CX9: Wolven Moonrise (SMG), 3-Line Rifle: Cantus Rubra (Sniper Rifle) and MG82: Bloodsucker's Ban (LMG)
- Additional COD Points
The blueprint spread covers three different weapon classes, so the pass offers something for close-range SMG players, snipers and LMG users alike.
Ground Forces and the Challenge Pass

The Battle Pass Subscription, Ground Forces, returns with monthly rewards, a 10% boost to Player and Weapon XP, discount coupons and limited discounts on 10x crate pulls. This season's subscription rewards are:
- Makarov: Urban Makarov (Operator Skin)
- R9-0: Hellborne Hybrid (Weapon Blueprint)
- Backpack: Hybrid Howl
The Season 9 Challenge Pass works through Challenge HQ, where Daily and Weekly tasks earn tokens. Its rewards include the QXR: Rose Requiem blueprint and the Showoff emote. Since it only asks for regular play, it is an easy extra track to complete alongside the Battle Pass.
New Mode: Leader's Kill Confirmed
The biggest multiplayer addition is Leader's Kill Confirmed, a limited-time twist on the classic mode.
Each team has one Leader, an Operator equipped with a mech and visible to both teams. Taking down the enemy Leader drops a dog tag worth more points than a regular one, and the Leader role then passes to a teammate. As the match goes on, other Operators also gain special abilities.
That design changes how the mode plays. Protecting your Leader becomes a team priority, while hunting the enemy Leader is the fastest way to swing the score. Because the Leader is visible to everyone, expect matches to cluster around them, which rewards coordinated squads more than lone players.
Halloween Maps and Returning Collab Playlists
Season 9's Halloween content centres on Attack of the Undead, played on two haunted maps:
- Haunted Hacienda
- Haunted Standoff
Both maps also get their own 24/7 playlists at different points in the season, so players who want to grind a single map will have a window for each.
Two collaboration playlists return for a limited time as well. Shoryu and Hadoken from the Street Fighter 6 crossover come back, and Honkai: Gleaming Front from the Honkai Impact 3rd crossover returns with improvements and tweaks to the original version.
Fang Wars: Pick a Side

Vampires vs Werewolves: Fang Wars turns the season's theme into a faction event. You pick a faction and complete missions to push your side's progress toward rewards.
Each faction has its own weapon reward:
- Vampires: SO-14: Moonlit (Marksman Rifle)
- Werewolves: Type 25: Lone Wolf (Assault Rifle)
Some rewards are shared by both sides: the Purifier: Deadly Nightshade Operator Skill skin, the Type 19: Petal Pattern blueprint and the Swagger Strongbox.
Both factions also earn a victory calling card, Vampire Victory or Werewolves Victory. The difference comes at the end: members of the winning faction receive a Gold version of their calling card. So picking a side is partly about which weapon you want and partly about which side you expect to win.
Call of the Dead: Día de Muertos Rewards
Call of the Dead celebrates Día de Muertos. You collect Howlbones and spend them in the Event Store on rewards that include:
- Contact Grenade: Calaverita
- Cluster Grenade: Pan de Muerto
- A weapon charm, an emote and the Día de Muertos calling card
- Avatars, sprays, stickers and a frame
Reaching 100 Howlbones unlocks the event's top prize, the K-9 Unit: Fantasma Operator Skill skin. Since it is tied to a total rather than a single purchase, steady play across the event is the surest way to reach it.
Lucky Draws and Store Highlights

Season 9's store leans fully into the theme. Three Lucky Draws headline it:
- Hunger Eternal: Grav: Vitae Devourer (Legendary blueprint for the new Grav) and Samael: The Soul Eater (Operator Skin)
- Weresoldier Unleashed: AK-117: Lycan Eclipse and Bulldozer: Super Weresoldier
- Sapphire Winter: Einhorn Revolving: Cold-Blooded (Shotgun) and Tempest: Sapphire

The Dark Ritual Series Armory adds Horangi: Invoker, König: Sinister, Ghost: Possessed and Corso: Ritual Boss, with Dark Ritual Series Points available through the Web Store. The Web Store also offers a Day of the Dead COD Points bundle and daily gifts.
Returning items fill out the season:
- Street Fighter re-runs: the Weapon Series and Character Series Armories, for a limited time
- Mythic re-runs: Whorl of Midnight (RAM-7: Nebula's Brush) and Ultraviolet (AK-47: Radiance)
- Battle Pass Vaults: Shadows Return (Season 10, 2021), To the Skies (Season 6, 2022) and Orbital Raiders (Season 9, 2024)
The Halloween Sale runs from October 28 to November 3, with the Grim Duo Draw, Hunger Eternal Draw, Night Creature Lucky Box, Bloody Vow Crate and a Halloween Series Armory Bundle. If a Halloween item is on your list, that week is the time to check for it.
