Blood Strike Gold Stash Mega Giveaway: P90 – Ruins, and the Other P90 Two Days Later
Two P90 skins arrive within two days of each other, at different rarities, through different prize pools. They are not the same item and they do not cost the same thing.
28 August — [P90 – Ruins], Legendary, joins the Gold Stash Gacha as part of the Gold Stash Mega Giveaway. Complete event missions to earn Stash Vouchers and draw Legendary rewards.
30 August — [P90 – Phantomrift], Ultra, enters the "Phantomrift Stash" alongside [Origin-12 – Thunderclaw].
Legendary and Ultra are different tiers, and vouchers earned for one pool are not a plan for the other. If you're saving pulls this week, decide which P90 you actually want before the 28th, because the answer changes what you do with your Gold.
Gold Stash Mega Giveaway — 28 August
[P90 – Ruins] is Legendary tier, and it joins the standing Gold Stash Gacha rather than a bespoke pool.
The giveaway part is the missions. Completing event missions during the period earns Stash Vouchers, and vouchers open the Gold Stash the same way Gold does. That makes Ruins the closest thing to a free-accessible skin in this window — it costs time rather than currency.
The practical instruction is simple: run the missions from day one. Vouchers accumulate through the event period, and a mission you skip on the 28th isn't available to redo on the 5th.
Check the in-game rate disclosure before you commit. Community estimates for Gold Stash pity and Ultra rates circulate widely and don't always match the posted rates — the rate card in-game is the only figure worth planning around.
Phantomrift Stash — 30 August
[P90 – Phantomrift] and [Origin-12 – Thunderclaw] are both Ultra tier, entering a dedicated Phantomrift Stash pool.
No mission-voucher giveaway is attached to this one. That's the meaningful difference: Ruins comes with a free earning path, Phantomrift does not.
So the choice isn't really between two skins. It's between a skin you can grind toward and a skin you buy pulls for. If your Gold reserve is finite, that distinction should decide it, not which one looks better in the announcement art.
The rest of the late-August pools
Three Eternal-tier pools landed or land around the same window:
14 August — Mantra Eternal Valor. Eternal Striker Skin [VOLT – Mantra], a golden divine arm over a black-and-silver mechanical battlesuit with red-and-gold vestments.
24 August — Noxdra Valor. Eternal weapon skin [M82 – Noxdra].
28 August — Star Chaser Valor. Eternal weapon skin [KAG-6 – Star Chaser].
Note the collision on the 28th. Star Chaser Valor opens the same day as the Gold Stash Mega Giveaway. Two pools, one Gold balance — and only one of them has a free mission route attached.
The best value this month isn't a skin
Urban Pulse runs 15 August – 14 September, and it refunds the full 520 Gold at max level.
That refund is the single most efficient item on the calendar: complete the track and the pass effectively costs nothing, while still paying out the Ultra weapon skin [MP5 – Heatwave], with the Elite version adding the Ultra Striker Skin [Lucian – Renegade].
Do that before you gamble on either P90. A refunded 520 Gold is Gold you can then spend on a stash pull — funding the gacha out of the pass rather than out of your balance.
Also in this update
BR – TPS Vanguard Season started 14 August, limited-time. Hit the specified Ranked Points for the Legendary [QBZ95 – Glory], plus Rank Coins, avatar and stickers. BR-TPS and BR-FPS match separately.
Ultra Chaos opened 21 August — first player to 30 kills wins outright.
AK47 level cap raised to 100, with a new BAS attachment, the M-LOK Barrel, which makes the recoil pattern more stable and controllable. Unlock it through weapon level or the new Strike Pass.
E.M.T.'s default Striker model has been overhauled — the enclosed rescue armour is gone and her face is revealed for the first time.
What to do this week
- Finish Urban Pulse to max level. 520 Gold back, before 14 September.
- Start Gold Stash Mega Giveaway missions on 28 August. Vouchers are the free route to Ruins.
- Decide between Ruins and Phantomrift before the 28th. Legendary with a free path, or Ultra without one.
- Don't split your Gold across the 28th's two pools. Star Chaser Valor and the Gold Stash open the same day.
- Read the in-game rate card, not community pity estimates.
The short version: Ruins is the one you can earn. Phantomrift is the one you buy.
Fund the pulls without the grind
Stash pulls, Strike Pass tiers and Eternal pools all draw on the same finite Gold balance — and rebuilding it is the slow half of any Blood Strike account. Browse verified Blood Strike accounts if you'd rather start from a stocked inventory, top up your balance through Blood Strike Gold, or push ranked and event objectives through Blood Strike boosting.
