Arknights Crossing Event Guide: Everything Arriving 13 August
By Michael Pras 11 August 2026, 02:00 WIB
Arknights' next Story Collection Event, Crossing, goes live on 13 August at 08:00 (UTC-7) — the same moment the mandatory maintenance ends and Integrated Strategies 6 receives its content update. Three things landing at once makes this the busiest single moment on the Arknights calendar this month. Crossing brings the By My Rules limited headhunting banner, an Italian-themed cosmetic wave including the Verde Pizzeria furniture set, second Operator Modules for selected Operators, and a 50% Trust bonus on featured Operators — the last of which is quietly the most valuable thing in the update for long-term accounts. Here's everything arriving and the deadlines attached to each piece.
When it starts, where you are
08:00 UTC-7 on 13 August converts to 15:00 UTC and 22:00 WIB the same day.
That's the end of the four-hour mandatory maintenance running from 04:00 UTC-7. Two consequences worth acting on:
- The update is mandatory, so anyone still on an unbound guest account should bind it before the 13th. A bound account is safe; an unbound one is the entire reason the warning exists.
- Spend your Sanity before 04:00 UTC-7. It regenerates during downtime and overflow is lost.
What a Story Collection Event is
For Doctors newer to Arknights' event vocabulary: a Story Collection Event is a narrative-focused format, typically more compact than a full Side Story. The emphasis sits on the writing and the characters rather than on a sprawling stage list, and portions of the content are available only for a limited window.
Crossing is the twentieth Story Collection in Arknights and the third event in the Sette Colli's Sprouts story arc — the Italian-inspired thread that also explains the event's cosmetic direction, from the outfits down to the Verde Pizzeria furniture set. If you followed the earlier entries in that arc, this continues them directly; if you didn't, it's a reasonable entry point, since Story Collections are designed to be more self-contained than main-theme episodes.
All CG operations in the event cost 18 Sanity.
By My Rules: the headhunting banner
The By My Rules limited-time headhunting banner runs with the event.
Standard advice applies with more force than usual this month: check the featured Operators against the roster gaps you actually have rather than against a tier list. Arknights rewards filling roles — a missing Defender or a thin Medic bench costs you more clears than an eighth strong Guard.
Everything with a deadline
Crossing's contents expire on staggered dates, and they're easy to lose track of:
- Red Wine Championship Commission — open until 23 August
- Outfits in the Outfit Store — available until 27 August
- Verde Pizzeria furniture theme — available until 27 August
- Packs in the Packs Store — available until 3 September, each purchasable once per account
- A new Recalibrate Fit-in Pack joins the Packs Store
- Light and Shadow and Tremble Cold enter the Distinctions Store and the Universal Certificates Exchange Area
The 23 August Commission deadline is the earliest and the easiest to miss, since Commissions don't announce themselves the way banners do.
The 50% Trust bonus is the real prize
Selected Operators gain 50% extra Trust during the event — excluding Trust earned from Annihilation.
This gets skimmed past constantly, and it shouldn't. Trust provides permanent stat bonuses, and grinding it is one of the slowest, least interesting tasks in Arknights. A 50% bonus window converts the squads you'd be fielding anyway into permanent account progress at one and a half times the usual rate.
If any featured Operator is someone you actually use, build your event squads around them for the duration. The stages get cleared either way; you may as well bank the Trust while doing it.
Check the in-game announcement for the exact Operator list, which varies per event.
Second Operator Modules
Selected Operators receive their second Operator Module with this update.
Modules are permanent power — they raise stats and often change how a skill behaves, sometimes substantially altering an Operator's role. A second Module for an Operator you already invested in is a free upgrade to a unit you're already fielding, and it costs only the module materials.
This is the change most likely to shift your squad composition, so check the list on day one rather than discovering it three weeks later.
Arknights Global gets a PC client
The quietest big news in this update: an official PC client becomes available for Arknights Global after the 13 August update.
Two practical notes. The installation requires an additional 20+ GB of free space during the process, so clear room beforehand if you intend to install on day one. And a PC client changes how comfortable the harder content becomes — precise Operator placement and skill timing on Integrated Strategies runs and Contingency Contract stages are meaningfully easier with a mouse than with a thumb.
If you've been playing on an emulator, this is the moment to switch to the supported route.
Returning Doctors: the Comeback threshold changed
One quality-of-life change with real reach: Comeback content now unlocks after 30 days of inactivity instead of 60.
If you've drifted away from Arknights and are considering returning for this event, that halved threshold means the return package is available to considerably more lapsed players than before. Worth mentioning to anyone in your clan who stopped playing.
Priority order for the first week
- Bind your account before the 13th if you haven't. Everything else is optional; this isn't.
- Spend Sanity before maintenance and claim your mail, which expires on its own timer.
- Check the second Module list on day one — it may change who you field.
- Build event squads around Trust-bonus Operators you actually use.
- Clear the Red Wine Championship Commission before 23 August, the earliest deadline.
- Decide on outfits and furniture before 27 August, and packs before 3 September.
- Play the story. It's a Story Collection Event — the writing is the point, and Arknights' event narratives are among the strongest in the genre.
Don't forget Integrated Strategies
The same maintenance also updates Sui's Garden of Grotesqueries, IS6's roguelike theme, with new content arriving at exactly 08:00 UTC-7.
If you've been away from the Garden, that's a second reason to log in on the 13th — and Raidian, the theme's welfare Operator, sits as the first reward on its track for anyone who hasn't claimed her yet.
Secure your account first
An account carrying years of Operator investment deserves a proper backup before a mandatory update — binding takes a minute, and it's the only thing standing between the patch and a lost guest account.
