ZZZ Koleda Rework: Furnace Fire, Armorer Buffs and a Toggle
By Rivan Wi 9 September 2026, 00:00 WIB
Zenless Zone Zero is introducing Potential Vision, a new Agent Enhance system arriving after the Version 3.2 update — and Koleda is the first Agent to receive it.
This isn't a stat buff. It's a three-part rework that raises her Furnace Fire cap, adds a Core Skill built around the game's brand-new Armorer class, and loosens her Additional Ability requirements considerably.
It also comes with something unusual: you can switch it off.
The short version
- Potential Vision is a new Agent Enhance system arriving after the Version 3.2 update.
- Koleda is the first Agent to get it.
- Progress it with Daily Performance from Ridu Weekly, Association Supplies, Outpost Logistics and other sources, exchanged for Potential Silhouettes.
- Six Potential Vision levels, upgraded through the Agent – Skills interface.
- The whole thing can be toggled on or off.
- Three changes: a Skill Enhancement, a New Core Skill, and an Additional Ability condition expansion.
How Potential Vision works
The system runs on a currency loop rather than materials you farm in combat.
Proxies obtain Daily Performance through Ridu Weekly, Association Supplies, Outpost Logistics and other means. That's exchanged for Koleda's Potential Silhouettes, which raise her Potential Vision level and unlock new combat mechanics as they climb.
There are six talent tiers, and progress is managed from the Agent – Skills interface.
The toggle is the part worth flagging. Once Potential is unlocked, you can enable or disable the Potential Activation at will, alongside upgrading the level.
That's an unusual design choice. Reworks in this genre are normally permanent — you get the new version of a character whether it suits your team or not. Giving players a switch means Koleda's old behaviour stays available, which matters if her existing role in your squad works and you'd rather not relearn it mid-season.
Skill Enhancement: Furnace Fire doubles
Koleda's maximum Furnace Fire stacks increase to 2.
While holding Furnace Fire, she can launch an enhanced Basic Attack that consumes all stacks and increases the DMG dealt by every Agent in the squad. For each stack consumed, the DMG and Daze on the enhanced attack's second hit go up.
And here's the detail that makes it usable: if you switch Agents during the first hit, Koleda automatically launches the second hit anyway.
That solves the real problem with squad-wide buffs from an off-field Agent. Normally, applying a team buff means standing on the field long enough to finish an animation — time your damage dealer isn't using. Automatic completion means Koleda can apply the buff and get out.
Two further additions to her flow:
During Assist Follow-Ups, EX Special Attacks or Ultimates, holding the attack button chains into a Dash Attack. If she has Furnace Fire stacks, holding during a Dash Attack or Dodge Counter chains into an enhanced Basic Attack instead.
Launching an EX Special Attack quickly after a Basic Attack or enhanced Basic Attack increases the Daze inflicted by the resulting explosion.
New Core Skill: built for Armorers
Potential Awakening: Demolition Ops grants:
- Increased Laceration DMG to Armorer Agents in the squad
- Increased CRIT DMG to non-Armorer Agents
The timing here is not a coincidence. Armorer is the brand-new Agent Specialty introduced in Version 3.2 with Claret Flins, built around Maim, multi-CRIT and Counter Assist — and Laceration is exactly the damage type Claret's kit generates through her Gash and Maim mechanics.
So HoYoverse has done two things at once: revived an older S-Rank who had drifted out of relevance, and given the new Armorer class a dedicated support in the same version it launched.
The non-Armorer clause matters too. A Core Skill that only helped Armorers would make Koleda a niche pick usable in one team. Giving everyone else CRIT DMG keeps her viable outside that pairing.
Conditions Expansion: her Additional Ability gets much easier
Belobog Management is the quiet improvement, and it may be the most valuable of the three.
After Potential is awakened, Koleda's Additional Ability triggers when another squad member meets any of these:
- The same Attribute
- The same Faction
- Is a Rupture Agent
- Is an Armorer Agent
When it's active, the explosion from her EX Special Attack applies a debuff to the target — and while that target is Stunned, Chain Attacks deal more DMG to it.
Four qualifying conditions is a wide net. Faction and Attribute requirements are the usual constraint on older Agents' Additional Abilities, and they're what keep those characters locked into fixed teams. Adding two entire class categories on top means Koleda's ability fires in most reasonable squads rather than only in Belobog compositions.
And the effect itself synergises with her own kit. She generates Daze; the debuff pays off while the target is Stunned. Building Daze and then cashing it in through Chain Attacks is the loop she was always meant to run — this makes it actually worth doing.
What this means for Koleda
She was an S-Rank who had fallen behind. Her damage never kept pace, her buff application was clunky, and her Additional Ability demanded a Belobog team that the roster had largely moved past.
Potential Vision addresses all three. Faster buff application through the auto-completing second hit, a Core Skill that contributes to any squad, and an Additional Ability that fires without forcing a faction lock.
Whether it makes her competitive is a different question, and one nobody can answer from a preview. Percentages haven't been published for any of the three changes, and the material carries a clear note that it's in development and not representative of the post-release version.
The realistic read: this is a repositioning rather than a promotion. She becomes a functional Stun-and-buff option, particularly alongside Armorers. She is not being turned into a damage dealer.
What isn't published
- All numerical values — DMG increases, CRIT DMG, Laceration DMG, debuff strength.
- The full six-tier talent breakdown and what unlocks at each level.
- Daily Performance acquisition rates and how long a full Potential Vision takes.
- Which Agent receives Potential Vision next.
- Whether the system arrives with 3.2 or later in the version.
What to do
Don't rush the currency. Daily Performance comes from sources you're already running — Ridu Weekly, Association Supplies, Outpost Logistics. There's no separate grind to start early.
Hold off on rebuilding her Drive Discs. Without published values, whether her Discs should shift toward Impact, CRIT or Anomaly is unknowable.
Try the toggle both ways. If your existing Koleda team works, the switch means you can compare rather than commit.
Note the Armorer link if you're pulling Claret. The Core Skill's Laceration bonus and Claret's Laceration-heavy kit are built to pair, which affects whether Koleda is worth investing in for your account specifically.
Treat the preview as provisional. Every image carries the in-development caveat, and reworks are the content most likely to shift between preview and release.
Building the squad around her
A reworked Agent still needs the Drive Discs, W-Engine and Skill levels behind her to matter — and that investment is the slow half of Zenless Zone Zero, not the unlocking.
