Wuthering Waves Suoming Build Guide: Skills & Weapons

Wuthering Waves Suoming Build Guide: Weapons, Echo Sets, Skill Priority, and Team Compositions

Suoming Overview and Core Combat Mechanics

• Sub-DPS and Unison Support Route: When Suoming gains Unison and immediately switches out, she triggers her Outro Skill and grants the incoming Resonator massive Electro DMG Amplification alongside Resonance Skill DMG buffs via Unison Boon. Once off the field, she continues dealing coordinated off-field damage through persistent Thunder Crest strikes.
• On-Field Carry Route: Instead of swapping, Suoming can consume her own Unison via her Resonance Skill to enter the Seal Master state. This drastically empowers her enhanced Basic Attack strings and Forte-driven combo finishers, turning her into a sustained on-field primary attacker.

Core Resonator Profile

• Rarity: 5-Star
• Attribute: Electro
• Weapon Type: Sword
• Primary Scaling: Basic Attack DMG, Electro DMG, and ATK%
• Energy Target: Balanced Energy Regen to ensure consistent access to Resonance Liberation every rotation

Skill Leveling Priority

• Priority Order: Forte Circuit > Basic Attack > Resonance Skill > Resonance Liberation > Intro Skill

Best Weapons for Suoming

• Unspoken Rue (Signature 5-Star): The uncontested best-in-slot weapon. Boasting 588 Base ATK and 24.3% CRIT Rate, its passive adapts dynamically to her chosen combat path. If used off-field, it supplies additional team-wide Electro amplification; if used on-field, it redirects its power toward elevating her personal Electro damage ceiling.
• Red Spring (Alternative 5-Star): Delivers identical base stats (588 ATK, 24.3% CRIT Rate) and bolsters normal attack strings, making it an exceptional alternative for players favoring extended on-field combat windows.
• Emerald of Genesis (Standard 5-Star): A dependable, widely accessible standard option providing 24.3% CRIT Rate, useful passive ATK boosts, and valuable Energy Regen that eases Echo stat requirements.
• Lumingloss (Budget 4-Star): A strong free-to-play option that boosts Basic Attack DMG following a Resonance Skill cast, aligning neatly with her natural combat cadence.

Echo Loadout: Heart of Sworn Vigil

• 2-Piece Bonus: Electro DMG +10%
• 5-Piece Bonus: Gaining Unison or triggering a Unison Response grants substantial CRIT Rate and Electro DMG buffs for 30 seconds. Because Suoming easily triggers these conditions in both support and carry rotations, this set universally enhances her performance across all playstyles.

Main Stat and Cost Allocation (4-3-3-1-1)

• 4-Cost: CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG (CRIT DMG is strongly preferred when wielding CRIT Rate weapons like Unspoken Rue or Emerald of Genesis)
• 3-Cost: Electro DMG Bonus + Electro DMG Bonus (or Electro DMG Bonus + ATK%)
• 1-Cost: ATK% + ATK%

Substat Priority

Resonance Chain Milestones

• S1: Enhances comfort and state transition stability during heated combat rotations.
• S2: The premier low-spender target. Boosts Suoming's personal CRIT DMG while simultaneously granting a party-wide CRIT DMG buff to incoming characters via her Outro Skill.
• S3: Enhances Unison Boon access and heavily amplifies Basic Attack multipliers after activating Resonance Liberation, ideal for players running her as an active on-field fighter.
• S6: Unleashes maximum scaling, turning both her off-field coordinated attacks and on-field burst sequences into devastating finishing blows.

Optimal Team Compositions and Rotations

Premier Quick-Swap Synergy: Hsin + Suoming + Shorekeeper

• Role Distribution: Hsin (Main DPS), Suoming (Sub-DPS / Unison Buffer), Shorekeeper (Sustain / Universal Buffer)
• Rotation Dynamics: Shorekeeper opens the rotation by establishing baseline team healing and critical buffs. Suoming enters the field via Intro Skill, enters Deep Mind to charge her resources, and unleashes her Resonance Liberation to secure Unison. She immediately swaps out, passing powerful Electro and Resonance Skill buffs to Hsin while continuing to fire off coordinated Thunder Crest strikes. Hsin completes her burst phase and hands the field back to Suoming to repeat the sequence seamlessly.
