Watcher of Realms × Assassin's Creed Part 2: Evie Frye, Ezio della Notte and the Lucky Pick Decision
By Michael Pras 1 September 2026, 23:59 WIB
Part 2 of the Watcher of Realms × Assassin's Creed collaboration starts 09/10, and both summoning events run 09/10 to 09/20 — a ten-day window. Two new collaboration heroes headline it: Evie Frye, The Shadowed Dame and Ezio della Notte, Shadow of Firenze. The banners carry different claim thresholds — 200 summons on one, 90 on the other — and the Lucky Pick attached to each is a lockout rather than a bonus: heroes you don't select cannot be obtained from that summoning event at all. Add the collaboration's hard permanence rule and the shape of the decision becomes clear. You choose before you pull, not during.
The two new heroes
Evie Frye — "The Shadowed Dame." A 5★ collaboration hero, revealed with the pistol-and-cane-sword loadout from her Syndicate appearance.
Ezio della Notte — "Shadow of Firenze." Also 5★, and a distinctly darker read on Ezio than the one Part 1 delivered — red Demon Tide energy, Firenze rooftops in the rain. The reveal card shows two highlighted faction icons rather than one, so expect dual-faction membership.
They are not the same tier, and that governs everything below. Moonton's announcement pairs Evie Frye with "Your Wish Hero" and Ezio della Notte with "Your Wish Lord Hero." Ezio della Notte is a Lord — the top rarity in Watcher of Realms, summoned from the Ancient pool. Evie sits on the Legendary track. Two different heroes, two different currencies, two entirely separate savings problems.
Their kits are not published in this announcement material. Faction and class indicators are visible on the reveal cards, but skills, scaling and role are not. Any tier placement circulating before the in-game announcement drops is guesswork, and that includes confident-sounding guesswork. Wait for the kit before you plan a team around either of them.
The summoning events
Both run 09/10 to 09/20.
Invocation of Spirits & Divine Summoning Lucky Pick Rate-Up — Evie Frye plus your Wish Hero. Claim at 200 summons.
Ancient Lord Lucky Pick Rate-Up — Ezio della Notte plus your Wish Lord Hero. Claim at 90 summons.
Ninety is not the cheaper number. This is the easiest mistake to make with this event. The two banners run on different currencies — the claim thresholds on the banner art even carry different crystal icons, blue on one and red on the other. Invocation of Spirits and Divine Summoning draw on standard summoning crystals, the ones you accumulate steadily through normal play, and 200 is roughly where the Legendary pity track lands anyway. The Ancient Lord banner draws on Ancient Summoning Crystals, the scarcest currency in the game. Ninety Ancient summons is a far heavier ask than 200 standard ones for most accounts, even though the number is smaller.
Check your Ancient Crystal balance before you decide anything. That figure, not the threshold on the banner art, tells you whether Ezio della Notte is realistically in reach.
The Lucky Pick is a lockout
This is the line that deserves the most attention: you select a hero from the previous Assassin's Creed collaboration in the corresponding Lucky Pick to receive a Rate-Up, and unselected collaboration heroes cannot be obtained from that summoning event.
How Lucky Pick has worked before. Watcher of Realms has run Lucky Pick banners outside collaborations — the Lucky Pick Invocation in June 2025 paired a featured hero with a second hero of the player's own choosing, both carrying a 20x rate-up. The collaboration version applies the same idea to the Part 1 cast, with one crucial difference: outside a collaboration, a hero you don't select stays available in the standard pool. Here, they don't.
Part 1, which began 20 August, brought Ezio Auditore, Kassandra, Eivor and Bayek into Tya. If you missed any of them, the Lucky Pick is your route back — but only for the one you name. The others are simply not in the pool once you've chosen.
One nuance on Ezio Auditore specifically. He was handed out free through event progression in Part 1, with the login path running to 18 October and the quest path to 19 September. If you haven't claimed him yet, do that through the event rather than spending a Lucky Pick selection on him — the selection is better used on Kassandra, Eivor or Bayek, who have no free route.
The two banners do not offer the same selection pool. One promises a Wish Hero, the other a Wish Lord Hero — so which Part 1 Assassin you can pick depends on that hero's own rarity tier, not on preference. A Legendary-tier Part 1 hero cannot be your pick on the Ancient Lord banner, and vice versa. The banner art reflects this: each card shows a different set of portraits down its side.
So make the selection deliberately, and make it first. Pulling before you've set your Lucky Pick is how players end up 60 summons deep on a banner that can no longer produce the hero they actually wanted. Moonton's own note says to check the event announcement for the specific heroes available in each Lucky Pick — that list is the one thing worth waiting for before committing crystals.
Exclusive Artifacts
Two collaboration Exclusive Artifacts are tied to the new heroes and are obtained by joining the event, not by summoning. Worth noting because it changes the sequencing: the artifacts follow event participation, so clearing event content matters even for players who don't intend to spend crystals on either banner.
Part 1 set the precedent here. Each of its four collaboration heroes had an Exclusive Artifact obtainable during the event, and those artifacts were forgeable only while the crossover was running. If Part 2 follows the same structure, the artifacts carry their own deadline independent of the summoning banners — and an artifact you can't forge later is worth clearing event content for even if you never pull the hero it belongs to.
The permanence rule
Collaboration exclusive heroes cannot be obtained by any means after the collaboration events end. No rerun, no later shop appearance, no standard-pool addition. This was true of Part 1 and it is restated for Part 2.
That is the entire argument for acting inside the window, and it's also the reason to be honest with yourself about budget. A hero you can't obtain later is not the same thing as a hero you should spend everything on now — but it does mean the decision has a deadline attached, which most gacha decisions don't.
Ten days is the constraint — but only on the banners
Two different clocks are running, and conflating them is the second easy mistake this event.
The summoning banners run 09/10 to 09/20. The wider collaboration runs from 20 August to 18 October. So event content, missions and artifact forging have a long runway; the crystal decision does not.
You cannot farm a meaningful crystal balance in ten days. Whatever you're holding on 09/09 is very close to your entire budget for the banners. Event rewards earned after 09/20 arrive too late to spend on Evie Frye or Ezio della Notte — which is an argument for pushing event progression hard now, in the window before Part 2 opens, rather than pacing it across the full collaboration period.
Before 09/10:
- Count both currencies separately. Standard summoning crystals and Ancient Summoning Crystals are not interchangeable, and only one of them opens the Ezio della Notte banner.
- Decide which Lucky Pick hero you want on each banner — and confirm the available options once the in-game announcement is live.
- Stop pulling on standard banners now. Daily and weekly quest pulls should use the cheapest crystal option available rather than eating into anything you're saving.
- Treat the Part 1 banners still running as a competing spend. They're live during the same collaboration period, and every crystal committed to one is a crystal unavailable on 09/10. If a Part 2 hero is your priority, the Part 1 banners are the thing you skip.
- Check the event's own timer in-game rather than assuming the summoning window and the wider collaboration event end together. They frequently don't.
Should you pull?
If you missed Part 1 heroes: the Lucky Pick genuinely earns its place. You're getting a rate-up on a hero who is otherwise permanently gone, on top of the new collaboration hero. That is the strongest case anyone has for spending here.
If you already have the Part 1 roster: the Lucky Pick loses most of its pull, and the event reduces to two new heroes with unpublished kits. That's a thinner proposition, and there's no shame in sitting it out or committing only what you can spare.
If your Ancient Crystal balance is low: don't chase the 90. Ancient Crystals are the hardest currency in the game to rebuild, and burning a partial stack on a threshold you won't reach leaves you worse off for the next Ancient banner with nothing to show for it.
The rule: pull to secure something that disappears, not to chase a number you can't reach.
What isn't confirmed yet
Kits, exact faction and class assignments, drop rates, the full Lucky Pick hero lists for each banner, and whether any free acquisition path exists for either new hero the way Part 1 offered one for Ezio Auditore. The announcement images say please refer to the game for actual event details, and that's the correct instruction — the in-game event page is authoritative on all of the above once Part 2 goes live.
