Roblox TDS Solar Requiem Night II: New Map, Scoring & Battle Pass
By Sir Ayup
Roblox TDS Solar Requiem Night II arrives on Friday, October 16, bringing a brand-new map and a bespoke scoring system to Tower Defense Simulator. It is the second of four nights in the Solar Requiem event, and it continues the story of Umbra and Penumbra, two villains long-time players will remember. At gamemarket.gg, we gathered what is officially confirmed for Night II, a quick recap of Night I and a full guide to farming Solar Requiem Shards for the battle pass.

What We Know About Night II
A new map
Night II introduces a completely new map, separate from the one used in Night I. Its layout and name are still under wraps, which means the first runs on October 16 will be about learning paths and placement spots.
Bespoke scoring
Instead of the usual clear-or-fail result, Night II uses its own scoring system. The exact rules have not been explained, but bespoke scoring usually rewards how well you clear rather than simply whether you survive, so efficient tower placement and fast clears are likely to matter.
The story continues
The tagline "And who... are you?" hints at a new character or a twist in the Umbra and Penumbra storyline. Umbra was the final boss of the original Solar Eclipse event, and her return has been one of the most talked-about parts of Solar Requiem.
Night I Recap: Sorrowful Remains

Night I launched with update 2.14.0 on October 9 under the title Sorrowful Remains. It introduced:
- Penumbras as Night I's final boss
- The Solar Requiem battle pass
- The Sun and Moon Crate
If you have not finished Night I yet, it is worth clearing before Night II begins so you are familiar with the event's enemies and mechanics.
How the Solar Requiem Battle Pass Works
The battle pass runs for the whole event and uses its own currency.
Solar Requiem Shards
- Dropped by enemies, between 1 and 3 per kill
- Collected by walking near them, so do not leave them on the map
- Higher difficulties and later waves drop more shards
Community data lists these approximate shard totals for a full run:
- Easy: around 75 shards
- Frost: around 650 shards
- Polluted Wasteland II: around 750 shards
- Voidcore: around 1,800 shards
Battle pass cost and rewards
- Shards needed to complete: around 21,655
- Free track: available to everyone
- Premium track: 399 Robux
Across the full pass, rewards include 3,500 Coins, 2,900 EXP, 11 High Grade Crates, 11 Spin Tickets and 3 Nukes, along with cosmetics such as the Eclipse Soldier, the Solar Knight Charm and the Moon Boomerang.
How to Farm Shards Efficiently
- Play the hardest mode you can reliably clear. Voidcore gives far more shards than Easy.
- Walk over every shard drop before moving on, since uncollected shards are lost.
- Push later waves, which drop more shards per enemy.
- Play with a coordinated team to clear harder modes consistently.
- Spread your play across all four nights instead of grinding everything in one weekend.
With around 21,655 shards needed and the event running until mid-November, steady daily play on a high difficulty is the most reliable way to finish the pass without spending Robux on level skips.
Halloween on Roblox This Month
Solar Requiem is not the only big event this October. Roblox's own Halloween event, The Hollow, starts on October 22, so plan your shard farming early if you also want time for platform-wide Halloween rewards. Horror fans also have Monster in the Mansion's early access competing for their evenings, which makes a steady daily shard routine even more useful.
Your Night II Checklist
- Clear Night I before October 16 if you have not already.
- Log in on October 16 for the new map.
- Learn the map layout in your first few runs.
- Aim for efficient clears to score well under the new system.
- Collect every shard and push higher difficulties.
- Track your battle pass progress toward 21,655 shards.
Night II marks the halfway point of Solar Requiem, with a new map, a new way to score and another chapter in Umbra's story. Clear Night I, stock up on shards and be ready to learn the new map on October 16.
