Kurumi Tokisaki's PGR Kit: Zafkiel, Bullet Brand and Dark Team Fit
By Rivan Wi 28 September 2026, 16:00 WIB
Punishing: Gray Raven's Date A Live V collaboration goes live on September 29, five days after the Anchored in Faith version launched, and it brings Kurumi Tokisaki as a limited S-Rank Dark Attacker. Kuro Games has confirmed her rarity, her acquisition rules, her exclusive weapon Hour & Minute and an Otherworld Armament named Zafkiel. No official Global skill infographic has been published, so the kit below is compiled from community documentation of game data and pre-release reporting, with every unofficial figure flagged. The most useful thing about her kit is not any single multiplier. It is that she arrives in the same version as a free Dark support, and the two are built to sit together.
The short version
- Kurumi Tokisaki: limited S-Rank, Dark, Attacker. Collab Character R&D Event only, from September 29.
- Official rule: the first two times you obtain her, you receive an additional copy.
- Exclusive 6★ weapon Hour & Minute; Otherworld Armament Zafkiel with two actives and a Kurumi-only passive.
- Kit runs on a "time" resource, three named bullets, a form-changing Signature Move and a mark state called Bullet Brand.
- Collab pulls are cheaper per 10-pull; collab pity does not carry over. Both from third-party reporting.
- Adelyde: Anabasis, the free Dark Overlinker, is the intended partner. This version gives away half a Dark team and sells the other half.
What Kuro has confirmed
- S-Rank collab character, limited to the Date A Live collaboration, obtainable only via the Collab Character R&D Event.
- An additional copy the first two times she is obtained from the research interface.
- Patch notes list Hour & Minute as her exclusive 6★ collab weapon and Zafkiel as a new Otherworld Armament — Kuro's term, not "CUB", though the mechanics are CUB-shaped.
- Collaboration live September 29; Anchored in Faith launched September 24.
Everything beyond that is unofficial. Translations differ between sources — Phantom versus Flowing Shadow, Bullet Brand versus Gun Marks, Imprint versus Engraving, Aleph/Dalet/Het versus First/Fourth/Eighth Bullet. This article uses the first term in each pair; the official Global text may pick the other.
The kit, point by point
Resource loop
- Kurumi spends her own time to attack, dealing Dark DMG.
- Hitting enemies devours their time, which refills hers, strengthens her attacks and builds Signature energy.
- Signature Move: Angel of Time: Zafkiel. Enters an enhanced form with stronger attacks that build energy faster.
- With enough energy in the enhanced form, she fires a large Dark hit against all enemies.
Skills
- Aleph (First Bullet), Dalet (Fourth Bullet), Het (Eighth Bullet): the three named bullets. Every conditional bonus in the weapon and Armament checks for one of these.
- Phantom: generates Signal Orbs and is the trigger for the weapon's orb refund and the Armament's ATK buff.
- Bullet Brand: a mark state. While active, the three bullets deal more damage and the weapon's largest bonus switches on.
- Imprint: a stack granted by the weapon on first deployment. Its effect is undocumented in the sources used.
Hour & Minute (6★ exclusive weapon)
- ATK +10%.
- Phantom and the Signature Move deal +50% DMG.
- While Bullet Brand is active, Aleph, Dalet and Het deal +50% DMG.
- +1 Imprint stack on first deployment.
- After casting Phantom, +2 Signal Orbs, capped at 4 per deployment.
Zafkiel (Otherworld Armament)
- Active 1: after pinging 6 basic Signal Orbs, Zafkiel gathers energy and releases a shockwave, dealing Dark DMG 6 times.
- Active 2: after pinging 6 basic Signal Orbs, Zafkiel summons a formation of guns, dealing Dark DMG 6 times.
- Passive, Kurumi only: after she casts Aleph, Dalet or Het, Zafkiel launches a joint attack dealing Dark DMG once.
- Passive, Kurumi only: after Phantom, her ATK rises for 8 seconds; repeat casts refresh the timer.
- Pre-release figures, not official: 325% per active hit, 3,000% for the joint attack, +25% ATK.
What the design actually rewards
Read together, the pieces point one direction. The weapon's biggest conditional bonus and the Armament's joint attack both trigger off the three bullets, and the weapon only pays out on them while Bullet Brand is up. So the rotation is not "use the strongest skill when ready"; it is "keep Bullet Brand active, cast bullets inside it, let Zafkiel fire on each one."
Phantom is the enabler. It feeds Signal Orbs through the weapon, which feed the six-orb Armament actives, and it refreshes the ATK buff through the Armament passive. Cast it often and three systems run; save it and all three stall.
The consequence for investment: Hour & Minute is not a flat upgrade layered on top of the kit. It is the component that turns the bullet-and-Brand structure into orbs and damage. Whether that gap justifies the weapon banner is a numbers question the official sheet has to answer.
The Dark team this version is building
Anchored in Faith gave every player Adelyde: Anabasis for free through Journal of Promise, and she is a Dark Overlinker — the new class built to support and enable rather than carry. Five days later, Kuro sells a limited Dark Attacker.
That pairing is not accidental. A Dark team needs a damage dealer, and the free unit is not one. Kurumi is. For a player who has claimed Adelyde and built Kelpie, the missing piece is exactly what the collab banner sells. Existing rosters change the calculation: a player already running a Dark Attacker can weigh Kurumi purely on her limited status, while a player without one is choosing between Kurumi now and an unknown Dark Attacker later.
Acquisition, point by point
- Currency: limited tickets converted from Black Cards. Standard yellow and red R&D tickets do not work on the collab banners.
- Pull cost (third-party): 1,750 limited tickets per 10-pull, against 2,500 on a standard banner.
- Discount scope (third-party): applies to the character banner only, not the weapon or Armament banners.
- Pity (third-party): does not carry over to any future banner.
- Login rewards (third-party): 24 character pulls, 14 weapon pulls, 1,000 limited tickets.
- Official: limited status and the extra-copy rule. Everything else above should be verified in-game on September 29.
What isn't known
- Official skill names and every multiplier. No Global skill infographic has been published; all numbers above are pre-release.
- What Imprint does. Granted by the weapon on deployment; its effect is undocumented in the sources used.
- The collab's end date. Kuro has announced the start, not the close.
- Whether Zafkiel's actives follow the CUB element rule. They are described as Dark DMG, but the Kelpie infographic showed the same ambiguity for its actives.
- How Adelyde's kit specifically interacts with Kurumi's. Adelyde's own official sheet is still limited to four data points.
What to do
- Claim Adelyde before you pull. The free Dark support is why Kurumi's value is higher this version than a limited Attacker would be in isolation.
- Use the login pulls first, then count. If the third-party figures hold, they cover a meaningful share of pity before Black Cards enter the picture.
- Decide on Hour & Minute as part of the Kurumi decision. The Bullet Brand and orb economy run through the weapon.
- Build the rotation around Phantom and the three bullets. Everything that scales her damage checks one of those two things.
- Do not put pulls in expecting carry-over. Collab pity is reported to stay on the collab banner.
- Wait for the official sheet before ranking her. The structure is clear; the magnitudes are not.
