This update is packed with early looks at major 2026 plans, event previews, system reforms, and a special New Year’s gift for all Guardians — making this year’s end feel like a fresh beginning for everyone in the world of Kanterbury.

🎁 A Gift to All Guardians: New Year’s Stamina Bonus

To kick off the celebrations, the team is giving every player a free stamina pack as a token of appreciation for their support throughout 2025. This special reward is available to claim in-game through early January, helping both new and veteran players dive into upcoming content without missing a beat.

🆕 First Half 2026 Roadmap — Sneak Peek

While the full roadmap will be officially revealed in mid-January 2026, this Developer Letter drops several teasers about what Commanders can expect in the first quarter:

🧙 New Heroes Are Coming

Fresh faces will join the roster in January, giving Guardians new team composition options and strategic depth. While names and details remain under wraps, the promise of new heroes has the community buzzing with speculation.

🚧 Boss Rush Evolves

The current Boss Rush format will be retired in its current form, replaced with a reimagined approach that blends event narratives with epic boss encounters. This overhaul aims to breathe new life into one of the game’s most competitive modes.

🌌 Story Expansion — World 23

Work is underway on World 23, the next major chapter of the main storyline. Slated for release before summer, this New Word promises expanded lore, fresh adventures, and refined gameplay pacing for Guardians eager to explore beyond familiar territories.

🌟 Events, Costumes & Content Beyond the Main Story

Beyond core upgrades, the team is crafting a variety of events, costumes, and short-form story content that will roll out throughout 2026:

• Memorial short stories and spin-offs spotlighting beloved characters

• Seasonal events designed to offer diverse gameplay challenges

• New costume sets that capture the festive energy of Guardian Tales’ world

These additions not only deepen the narrative layer but also enrich the everyday playing experience with variety and charm.

🏆 Competitive & System Overhauls

Competitive players have plenty to look forward to as well. The upcoming year will bring:

🥇 Colosseum Reforms

The Guardian Tales Colosseum — a favorite competitive arena — is due for an upgrade. A higher-tiered system similar to the Master Arena is in the works, which aims to deliver more intense and rewarding competitive play.

🏙️ Hero Tower & Expedition Improvements

Season 3.5 of co-op expeditions is in development, alongside enhancements to the Hero Tower. These changes aim to refine progression flow and offer more meaningful endgame challenges.
