GFL2 Amber Reel of Moonlight: Mityl Kit, Banners and Event Dates
By Sir Ayup 8 October 2026, 11:00 WIB
Girls' Frontline 2 Amber Reel of Moonlight launches on October 8, 2026, and it brings Mityl, a Hydro Sentinel who fights alongside holograms of herself and of her enemies, to the global server for the first time. At gamemarket.gg, we went through the official patch overview and Mityl's full skill preview. The themed event runs until October 28 and comes with her signature weapon Squirrel Nova, a discounted outfit and three Targeted Procurement banners, including reruns for Cheyanne and Liushih. That last detail matters more than it looks, because Liushih is one of the Dolls in Mityl's officially recommended team. This guide covers how Mityl plays, what each banner offers, what else the patch adds and how to plan your pulls before October 28.
Event Schedule

Everything in this patch shares one window:
- Start: October 8, 09:00 (UTC-4), which is 13:00 UTC.
- End: October 28, 18:59 (UTC-4), which is 22:59 UTC.
The themed event, all three Targeted Procurement banners and the outfit discount all follow these dates. That gives you roughly three weeks to clear the event and decide between banners, and since the reruns end at the same time as Mityl's banner, there is no later window for them in this patch.
The event itself is not new to the game. Amber Reel of Moonlight first ran on the CN server in spring 2026, so global players are getting a tested patch with a kit the community has already had months to study.
Who Is Mityl?

Mityl is the T-Doll known as P90, now an Elite Sentinel carrying her namesake SMG. Her affiliation is the Elmo Combined Echelon, and her personality matches the bright, playful tone of her introduction trailer, where she promises to cheer the Commander up.
In battle, she has a single theme: holograms. Mityl can summon copies of an enemy, summon copies of herself, move those copies around the field and order them to attack together. She also turns the ground into Hydro tiles, and almost every part of her kit hits harder when she, her holograms or her target is standing on one.
That combination makes her unusual. Most damage dealers ask you to line up one big hit. Mityl asks you to manage terrain and summons across several turns, and she rewards you with a damage ramp that keeps growing as the fight goes on.
Mityl's Kit, Skill by Skill

Her official skill preview breaks down into a basic attack, two active skills, an ultimate and a passive, plus two skills used by her summons.
Assault Shot is her basic attack and deals Physical damage. It is the only part of her kit that is not Hydro, so most of her output comes from her skills rather than from basic attacks.
Squirrel Hologram is the core of the kit. When you target an ordinary enemy, Mityl summons a Copy Hologram of it, which copies that enemy's skills and appearance. Target a Doll, a boss or a large unit instead and she summons a Self Hologram, which uses her own skills. The skill also generates Tideway tiles, can teleport existing holograms to a nearby empty tile, and grants Mityl Extra Command after use.
Air Dash moves her to the chosen tile and deals Hydro damage to the nearest enemy. The key condition is simple: if Mityl is on a Hydro tile both before she uses it and when it deals damage, she can use Air Dash again with increased damage. So positioning on Hydro terrain directly translates into extra actions.
Void Fitting, her ultimate, grants Saturation Overflow, creates Tideway tiles around her and gives Extra Command once more. Under Saturation Overflow, her attack rises, Air Dash leaves a trail of Tideway tiles along its path, and every Air Dash makes all holograms use Aligned Resonance, which deals Hydro damage and stability damage to all nearby enemies.
Juggling Montage is the passive that ties it all together:
- Automatic resonance: at the end of each allied turn, all holograms use Aligned Resonance.
- Confectance Index: Mityl gains it whenever she or her holograms deal Hydro damage, with a bonus if the target, Mityl or a hologram is on a Hydro tile.
- Theater Rank: she starts each battle as Novice Impersonator and climbs to higher ranks as the Confectance Index grows, keeping the effects of every lower rank.
The ranks stack her damage step by step. Novice Impersonator raises crit rate for Mityl and her holograms. Stunt Double raises crit damage. A later rank makes Aligned Resonance create Tideway tiles in its area before it hits, and Legendary Star increases her Hydro damage for every other allied unit on the battlefield.
Her summons have two skills of their own. Hologram Assault is their Hydro basic attack, and Data Reversion lets them recover HP and gain Max HP every time they perform Aligned Resonance, which helps them stay on the field long enough to keep feeding the passive.
Put together, the loop is clear. Create Hydro tiles, place holograms on them, let Aligned Resonance trigger every turn, and Mityl's rank and damage keep rising. Legendary Star also explains why holograms matter beyond their own damage: they help fill the field with allied units, which is exactly what that final rank counts.
Neural Keys and Recommended Team
Mityl's Fixed Keys lean further into the same ideas:
- Star Performance: Air Dash cleanses a buff from its target.
- Mistress of Disguise: the Self Hologram can move and be manually controlled.
- Triple-Axle Flip: ending her action on a Hydro tile grants Movement Up II.
- Tearjerker Performance: Hydro damage from Mityl and her holograms applies Emotional Contamination.
- Hundred Round Duet: she starts each battle with a hologram already summoned, and both count as Dolls and summons at the same time. This hologram has no skills and cannot act.
- Indistinguishable: damage rises when Mityl and her holograms are on Hydro tiles, with a further bonus for each additional tile level.
The official recommendation for Fixed Keys is Tearjerker Performance, Hundred Round Duet and Indistinguishable. For Common Keys, it suggests Mitylrat Little, which boosts damage dealt from a Hydro tile, along with Big Money Girl and Master's Command.
Hundred Round Duet stands out because of Legendary Star. A free hologram that counts as both a Doll and a summon from turn one gives her an extra unit on the field before she has used a single skill.
The suggested team is OTs-14, Liushih, Springfield and Florence alongside Mityl. If Florence is already on your roster from the event that introduced her, you already own one piece of that lineup, and the Liushih rerun running during this patch offers a direct way to add another.
Squirrel Nova: Mityl's Signature Weapon

Squirrel Nova is the new Elite weapon released with this patch, a Submachine Gun using Light Ammo modelled on the P90. It is Mityl's signature weapon, so it is the natural target for players who plan to invest in her fully.
As with any signature weapon, it is a second spend on top of the Doll herself. Players with limited resources usually get more value from securing Mityl first and deciding on the weapon after testing her in their own teams.
The Three Targeted Procurement Banners

This patch runs three Targeted Procurement banners side by side, each with an Elite Doll and two additional rate-ups:
- Mityl: new Elite Doll, with Krolik and Nemesis also rated up.
- Cheyanne (rerun): with Littara and Ksenia also rated up.
- Liushih (rerun): with Littara and Ksenia also rated up.
Having three Elite options at once means most players will need to choose. The quickest way to decide is to ask what each banner fixes for your account.
Mityl is the obvious choice for players who want a new Hydro damage dealer and enjoy a hands-on, terrain-based playstyle. She is also the only banner that adds something the roster could not get before this patch.
Liushih has a stronger case than a typical rerun because she appears in Mityl's own recommended team. Players who already own Mityl, or who plan to pull her and still have currency left, can treat Liushih as a support pick for the same lineup rather than a separate goal.
Cheyanne is the rerun to focus on if she fills a gap in your current teams. Without that, she is the easiest of the three to skip this time.
The Nemesis rate-up on Mityl's banner is worth a note too. Many players already received Nemesis for free during Chiral Redundancy, so for them, extra copies are a bonus rather than a reason to pull.
90's Sunset Memories Outfit

90's Sunset Memories is Mityl's new outfit, available at a limited-time discount in the Outfit Boutique from October 8 to October 28. The outfit comes with purple-quality accessory variants, and each variant is obtained separately, so check exactly what the discounted bundle includes before buying.
The discount shares the patch window, so it ends on October 28 along with the banners.
The Amber Reel of Moonlight Event

Amber Reel of Moonlight is the patch's themed event, with Mityl at the centre of its story. On the CN server, it served as her character event, and the global version keeps the same role.
The official overview confirms the event period but does not list its stages, shop or reward amounts, so check the event page in-game on October 8 for the full reward list before deciding where to spend event currency.
Much like the Chiral Redundancy Part 2 patch that brought Soppo in September, this one pairs a new Elite Doll with her own story event. The difference is length: with three weeks on the clock, there is room to finish it at your own pace.
Crew Deck, Covenant and Neural Helix Updates

The patch also adds a few smaller updates across other systems:
- Crew Deck: Mityl is added to Holography.
- Covenant: a new update featuring Mityl and Balthilde.
- Neural Helix Expansion: Lind receives a Neural Helix expansion.
The Lind expansion is the most relevant for existing rosters, since it improves a Doll players may already own rather than asking for a new pull. If Lind is in your teams, review her new nodes before spending resources elsewhere.
Your Amber Reel of Moonlight Checklist
To get the most out of the patch before October 28, follow this order:
- Decide your banner first: choose between Mityl, Liushih and Cheyanne based on the gaps in your roster, not on which banner opens first.
- Check your Mityl team: see how many of OTs-14, Liushih, Springfield and Florence you already own before committing to her.
- Plan her keys: aim for Tearjerker Performance, Hundred Round Duet and Indistinguishable if you pull her.
- Clear the event steadily: work through Amber Reel of Moonlight over the three weeks instead of leaving it to the final days.
- Review Lind: if she is on your roster, check her Neural Helix expansion.
- Finish before October 28, 18:59 (UTC-4): the banners, event and outfit discount all close at the same time.
The core decision in this patch is Mityl herself. She is a kit built on Hydro terrain, holograms and a rank that keeps climbing, so she suits players who enjoy planning positioning over several turns. If that sounds like your style, she is the headline pull of the month, and Liushih is the natural partner to consider beside her.
