Etheria SS6 Pyrite Nyx: Every Date, Animus and the Code
By Rivan Wi 31 August 2026, 22:00 WIB
Etheria: Restart's sixth season, SS6: Pyrite Nyx, begins on 2 September 2026 and runs through to 1 December. It brings three new Animus, a new game mode called Desynced Recursion, two main story chapters, an awakening for Diting, and a season redeem code you can use immediately.
The code is ETHERIASS6. Redeem it first — no expiry has been published, and season codes generally don't outlast the season that names them.
Here's the full schedule, what arrives when, and which parts have deadlines worth respecting.
The season structure
SS6 splits into four phases, each roughly three weeks:
- SS6.1 — 2 September to 22 September
- SS6.2 — 23 September to 13 October
- SS6.3 — 14 October to 3 November
- SS6.4 "HYPA Season" — 4 November to 1 December
Two dates sit slightly outside that grid. Season Rush begins 26 October, and the season enters Off-Season on 1 November, which is also when RTA SS6 ends. HYPA Season then opens on 4 November as an extended coda rather than a fresh season.
One caveat carried on the official calendar itself: the event calendar is a reference, and exact timings follow official announcements. Treat the phase boundaries as the intended shape rather than fixed timestamps, and check in-game before planning around a specific day.
New Animus debut schedule
Four new Animus arrive across the season:
- Jolt — 2 September, Kinetic
- Kynessa — 23 September, Apex
- Syen & Auroral Nell (SR) — 14 October, Anima
- Thalos — HYPA Season, Apex
Two things worth flagging.
Syen & Auroral Nell is marked as still in development. The reveal card carries a "stay tuned" note rather than a finished portrait, so both the 14 October date and the unit's final form are less settled than the others.
Kynessa's reveal is a silhouette. Her name, element and date are published; her design isn't.
That gives the season a clear rhythm: a Kinetic unit at launch, an Apex unit at the SS6.2 boundary, an SR pair in SS6.3, and a second Apex unit closing things out in HYPA Season.
Desynced Recursion and the new chapters
Desynced Recursion is SS6's new seasonal gameplay, opening alongside the season on 2 September. Promotional material shows a squad-based battle interface framed inside a handheld console, suggesting a self-contained mode rather than an extension of existing content.
Two main story chapters also arrive: Chapter 11: Umbra Haunt and Chapter 12: Beyond Blossom.
Story content in Etheria: Restart doesn't expire, so these can wait. The seasonal events around them cannot.
The four launch events — and which one has a clock
SS6 opens with four themed events, and they don't all behave the same way.
[Blessings Galore] Season Launch Boost is the one with a deadline. It's an extended one-week limited launch event granting 2x Drops in Investigation, Threshold and GP Outpost. A doubled drop rate on your three main farming routes, for one week only, at the exact moment a new season resets your material needs.
Front-load your farming. Whatever you were planning to grind across September, the first week is worth twice the rest. This is the single most valuable thing on the SS6 calendar for anyone who isn't chasing a specific banner.
[Animus Reconfigure] Limited Stat Respec grants three free chances to use Meme Overwrite Devices and reforge an Animus' abilities. Free respecs are rare, and three of them is enough to fix the units you built wrong before you understood the systems. Don't let these expire unused.
[Module Forge] Craft Your Gear lets you spend Energy Shards to craft one Basic Module and one Core Module.
[Hyperlink Pass] Upgraded Season Pass is the season-exclusive pass with upgraded rewards. Unlocking the Premium Pass earns Freya's exclusive outfit, [Umbral Soliloquy].
Diting Awakening
SS6's Animetry: Awaken content targets Diting, with three previewed upgrades:
- Rapid Fire — an enhancement to her overall skill
- Exclusive Mark — increases the CRIT DMG converted from excess CRIT Rate
- Pristine Cleaver — after triggering a Follow-up Attack, grants a new effect providing additional Follow-up Attack counts
The direction is clear enough from the descriptions: this is a crit-scaling, follow-up-focused rework. Exclusive Mark in particular matters for anyone who has over-invested in CRIT Rate and hit the usual wall of wasted overflow — converting that excess into damage changes how her gear should be built.
Full numbers haven't been published, so hold off on re-gearing until the values land.
Cosmetics across the season
Beyond Freya's pass outfit, SS6 carries several cosmetic tracks:
- Raymerry — Neon Blaze, the EWS Champion Outfit
- Season Rewards Preview outfits: Aureate Paragon, Stellar Overseer, Molten Crucible and Labyrinth Voyager
The anniversary running inside SS6 adds a further set — including a free Kinetic SSR selector and a large Hydra Crystal prize pool — but that's a separate track with its own deadlines.
Quality-of-life changes
Seneschal: Chaku is the headline optimisation, described as a smart management assistant for handling daily affairs. Etheria: Restart has spread progression across a wide set of systems — Workshops, Investigation, Threshold, GP Outpost, Shells, Modules — and a consolidated daily handler is a meaningful reduction in overhead for players managing all of it manually.
Multiple further event optimisations are noted as underway without detail.
A SS6 Seasonal Balance Adjustments Preview was also shown, but no specific changes were published alongside it.
What isn't known
- Balance adjustment details. A preview was teased; the changes weren't listed.
- Kynessa's design and kit. Silhouette only.
- Syen & Auroral Nell's final form, and whether 14 October holds.
- Thalos' kit beyond the Apex element.
- Desynced Recursion's rules, rewards and difficulty structure.
- Diting's awakening values.
- The ETHERIASS6 code's expiry date.
- Exact timings for events inside each phase — the calendar is explicitly a reference.
Priority order for the first week
- Redeem ETHERIASS6. Thirty seconds, unknown expiry.
- Farm hard during Blessings Galore. One week of 2x drops across three farming routes is the season's best value, and it's gone after the first week.
- Use your three free respecs before the window closes.
- Craft your free Modules through Module Forge.
- Decide on Jolt at launch, then reassess for Kynessa on 23 September.
- Leave the story chapters for later. They don't expire.
The general principle for SS6: the boosts and free resources at the front of the season are worth more than anything sitting in the middle of it, because they multiply everything you do afterwards. Story content and permanent modes will wait.
Preparing for the season
A season with four Animus debuts, a new mode and a doubled-drop launch week rewards accounts that can actually absorb all of it — and Shells, Modules and Animus levelling are the slow half of Etheria: Restart, not the summoning. Browse verified Etheria: Restart accounts if you'd rather enter Pyrite Nyx from a developed roster with crystals banked, keep dailies and Blessings Galore farming moving with Etheria: Restart hourly services, or push Grim Pursuit and Summit Arena climbs through Etheria: Restart boosting before Season Rush on 26 October.
