Epic Seven Reroll Guide 2026: Start Your Account the Right Way

Epic Seven remains one of the most generous gachas to start in 2026 — and one of the most punishing to start badly. Because gear, not heroes, is the long-term bottleneck, the heroes you begin with determine how fast you reach the part of the game that matters. A good reroll saves literal months. Here is the complete, current process.

Why Reroll at All?

Your first days in Epic Seven shower you with selective summons, guaranteed banners, and login five-stars. Stacking those rolls onto a strong start compounds: a top-tier opening DPS clears story and hunts faster, which means gear flows sooner, which means every subsequent hero you pull comes online faster. The difference between a god-roll start and a mediocre one is felt for your entire first year.

The Reroll Process (Current Version)

1. Download and clear the prologue on a guest account. Skip cutscenes; you will see them on your keeper account.

2. Run the Selective Summon — 30 free rolls, repeatable until you lock it in. This is your reroll engine.

3. Target outcome: one premium limited-tier DPS or a meta five-star plus a strong four-star support. Community tier lists update monthly; check the current selective summon recommendations before you start.

4. Not satisfied? Reset via new guest account (or clear data) and repeat. Each cycle takes roughly 15-20 minutes.

5. Once you hit your target, bind the account immediately to email — an unbound reroll account that gets lost is a tragedy with no fix.

What Actually Matters in 2026's Meta

Chase a flexible damage dealer first — units that clear both PvE story and early Wyvern hunts give the most compound value. Recent releases like the Moon Assassins Rhianna & Luciella (live until July 2 in Mystic Summon) are PvP-leaning luxury; your reroll should prioritize PvE engine units, then let events hand you the rest. Soul Weavers and knights arrive naturally through free pulls and Moonlight summons.

Your First Two Weeks After Rerolling

• Push story to unlock Hunts; Wyvern 13 is the entire early-game destination because speed sets rule everything.
• Spend energy on hunts and event shops, never on early Spirit Altar overfarming.
• Hoard bookmarks until you understand the banner cycle — the only banner a new player must consider is a limited collab, which never reruns on schedule.
• Do every side story; catalysts and gold are the silent walls at awakening time.

The Shortcut Nobody Talks About

Rerolling gets you one good unit; the grind to a competitive box still spans months. If your time is worth more than the early slog, established accounts skip the entire arc — limited units already secured, gear benches stocked, Moonlight five-stars banked. For returning players especially, buying a developed account at the price of a few months of packs is the rational play.
