eFootball POTW 29 October 2026: Is Mbappé 98 Worth Your Coins?
By Sir Ayup
The eFootball POTW for 29 Oct '26 has landed with two packs at once. POTW Worldwide is led by a 98-rated Kylian Mbappé, while the POTW European Club Championship puts Phil Foden and Nico Paz at the top with 97 each. Both packs hold 11 players, cost 100 coins per draw and stay in the shop for about a week. At gamemarket.gg, we went through every card in both draw screens so you can decide which pack is worth your coins before they leave on November 5.
POTW Worldwide 29 Oct '26: Mbappé, Gabriel and Suzuki
POTW Worldwide 29 Oct '26
The Worldwide pack picks standout performers from domestic leagues, and this week it is built around one superstar striker and a strong defensive spine.
Featured cards:
- Kylian Mbappé, CF, Real Madrid: 97, up to 98, highlighted with One-touch Pass
- Gabriel Magalhães, CB, Arsenal: 95, up to 97, highlighted with Acrobatic Clearance
- Suzuki Zion, GK, Aston Villa: 94, up to 96, highlighted with GK Low Punt
The rest of the pack:
- Maximilian Beier, LMF, Borussia Dortmund: 94
- Christian Pulišić, SS, AC Milan: 94
- Alejandro Grimaldo, LB, Atlético Madrid: 94
- Jérémy Jacquet, CB, Liverpool: 93
- Andy Diouf, RMF, Inter: 93
- Álex Berenguer, AMF, Athletic Club: 93
- Mathys Tel, LWF, Tottenham: 93
- Douglas Luiz, DMF, Juventus: 93
Mbappé is the obvious headline. A 98 CF is the highest rating across both packs, and his highlighted One-touch Pass skill hints at a card that can link play as well as finish it. Gabriel is the other card worth a close look, since a 97 CB with Acrobatic Clearance is one of the best defensive options in either pack this week.
Suzuki Zion is the quiet value pick. At up to 96, he is the highest-rated goalkeeper across both packs and a straightforward upgrade for many squads.
POTW European Club Championship: Foden, Nico Paz and Ngumoha
POTW European Club Championship
The European Club Championship pack rewards performances in European club competition, and this week it leans heavily on creative midfielders.
Featured cards:
- Phil Foden, RMF, Manchester City: 96, up to 97, highlighted with First-time Shot
- Nico Paz, AMF, Como: 95, up to 97, highlighted with Long-range Curler
- Rio Ngumoha, RWF, Liverpool: 93, up to 95, highlighted with Through Passing
The rest of the pack:
POTW European Club Championship Available Players
- Victor Osimhen, CF, Galatasaray: 95
- Bernardo Silva, CMF, Real Madrid: 95
- Scott McTominay, CMF, Napoli: 94
- Yann Sommer, GK, Club Brugge: 94
- Mario Hermoso, CB, Roma: 93
- Ross Barkley, CMF, Aston Villa: 93
- Carlos Augusto, LB, Inter: 93
- Lucas Hernandez, LB, PSG: 93
Foden and Nico Paz offer two different routes to goal from the right side and the middle. Foden's First-time Shot suits players who finish quickly from cutbacks, while Paz's Long-range Curler rewards shooting from outside the box. Ngumoha is the youngest of the three headliners and is listed with Through Passing, which makes him more of a creator than a pure dribbler.
Osimhen is the pack's only centre forward. If Mbappé is out of reach, a 95 CF from this side of the shop is a solid alternative.
How the Two Draws Work
Both packs follow the same rules:
- Cost: 100 coins per player
- Limited Draw: 11 per pack, one for each player in the lineup
- Duration: about one week, ending around November 5
- Ratings: the draw screen shows each featured card's highest possible rating, so the numbers in the lineup list are the base ratings before training
Because every player can be drawn only once per pack, the final draws cost the same as the first but have fewer cards left. If you only want one specific player, drawing early does not guarantee them, so set a coin budget before you start.
Which Pack Fits Your Squad?
The two lineups overlap very little, so the choice comes down to the position you want to upgrade.
If you need a striker: Mbappé in Worldwide is the stronger card at 98, while Osimhen in the European pack gives you a 95 CF with fewer competing headliners in the same draw.
If you need a creative midfielder: the European pack is the better fit. Nico Paz, Foden, Bernardo Silva, McTominay and Barkley give it five midfield options, compared with Berenguer, Diouf and Douglas Luiz in Worldwide.
If you need a defender: Worldwide is the safer choice. Gabriel, Jacquet and Grimaldo cover centre-back and left-back, while the European pack's defensive cards are Hermoso and two left-backs.
If you need a goalkeeper: both packs include one. Suzuki Zion reaches 96 in Worldwide, while Yann Sommer sits at 94 in the European pack.
Last week's lineups had a very different shape, led by Haaland in Worldwide and Vitinha in the European pack. Our October 22 POTW breakdown is a useful comparison if you skipped that week and want to see what you passed on. For an earlier European pack, our POTW UCL 17 September guide shows how those cards were rated at the time.
Final Thoughts
This week gives a clear split. Worldwide is the pack for Mbappé and a defensive rebuild, while the European Club Championship is the pack for midfield creativity with Foden and Nico Paz. Pick the pack that fills the weakest line in your squad, budget your coins and make your draws before November 5.
