Not the first Girls' Frontline crossover
Arena Breakout and the Girls' Frontline franchise have crossed over before. In 2024, Arena Breakout ran a limited-time mission event themed around the original Girls' Frontline, the strategy RPG that GIRLS' FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM continues. This time the game pairs with the sequel.
Crossovers themselves aren't new to Arena Breakout either. The game has run a Resident Evil event with operator skins and biohazard-themed content, and a Cyberpunk 2077 collaboration that added its own set of character skins.
New to Girls' Frontline?
GIRLS' FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM is a turn-based tactics game where players command squads of android characters known as Tactical Dolls, each built around a real-world firearm. It's a sequel to the original Girls' Frontline, set later in the same setting. The reward list shows that character art and gun-themed designs carry over into Arena Breakout as cosmetics, so the crossover stays on the extraction-shooter side and doesn't bring any of the turn-based gameplay.
