SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL: 1.5th Anniversary Roadmap

Bandai Namco laid out a full roadmap for SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL's 1.5th Anniversary during a dedicated livestream, covering new story content through December 2026, a fresh wave of gacha units, system upgrades, and a substantial free rewards campaign. The team opened by looking back at what the game has built since launch: 28 Gundam works have been implemented as scenarios so far, drawing from a pool of over 100 participating titles and more than 1,000 released Mobile Suits. Regular content keeps rotating through the anniversary period: Master League S16 runs through September 30, the Generation Tower East rerun through October 5 with a new Generation Tower South arriving November 6, the strong enemy Rig Ring appears September 30, and Large-scale Conquest Vol. 3 lands in mid-to-late December.

Two collaborations tie into the anniversary as well. The 15th anniversary of the Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. arcade series and the Gundam EXA comic bring the Extreme Gundam Excellia unit and character Sthesia Awar into G-Gen Eternal, complete with a dedicated stage, while the arcade game EXVS2 Infinite Boost gets player background plates, an exclusive GUI gauge, and promo codes tied to the same collaboration. Separately, the 30th anniversary of After War Gundam X brings a panel mission rewarding a 30th Anniversary key visual Supporter, alongside an announcement of a new Metal Robot Damashii Gundam Double X figure line.

New battle modes

Two new modes are being added on top of the regular content rotation:

• Skip and drop protection: Hard Stage skips now carry a chance at Great Success for Ultimate SSR material drops, and a new RNG protection system on technology research increases drop chances for materials you haven't obtained yet. A bulk-skip feature for training stages follows on October 13.
• Profile, Rank, and Haro Trophy overhaul: a new points system tracks play activity to raise account rank, alongside a trophy display for achievements.
