Mobile Legends September Starlight: New Hanzo Skin Revealed
By Michael Pras
Mobile Legends' September 2026 Starlight Pass is bringing Hanzo "Fangs of Slaughter," the assassin's very first Starlight-tier skin, along with a full set of exclusive extras. The skin goes live on September 1, 2026, giving Hanzo players a reason to jump into the new pass right as the month begins.
A New Look for Hanzo
Fangs of Slaughter leans into a demonic, ninja-inspired design, giving Hanzo a red-and-black color scheme paired with silvery-white hair and devil-styled armor. His signature Kage Nishi blade gets a noticeably larger, more menacing redesign, while his Demon Pneuma form takes on a darker red aura that makes its shadow effects stand out more during fights.
Since Hanzo has grown more popular since his February 2025 rework thanks to his fast jungle clear speed and strong map rotation potential, giving him his first Starlight skin is a fitting way to spotlight one of the assassin role's more mobile picks.
What Comes With the Pass
Buying into the September Starlight Pass unlocks more than just the base skin. Here's the full package:
- Two Painted Skin variants, offering alternate color combinations, one leaning into gold-and-blue accents, another shifting the design toward a red-and-green palette.
- An exclusive Trail Effect that follows Hanzo as he moves from base into the battlefield.
- An exclusive Sacred Statue, which grants small bonus rewards at the end of matches.
- A new Starlight Radiant Kit, adding extra visual flair to the battlefield UI for Starlight Pass owners.
- 300 Crystal of Aurora, credited immediately upon purchase.
Notably, the two Painted Skin variants aren't automatically included, they're available as an additional 100-Diamond purchase, but only for players who already own the September Starlight Pass.
Pricing
The September Starlight Pass comes in two tiers:
- Regular Pass: 300 Diamonds
- Premium Pass: 750 Diamonds
Exactly what separates the two tiers beyond pass level progression hasn't been fully detailed, so it's worth checking the in-game store description before purchasing if the Premium tier's extra value matters to your decision.
The Starlight Chest Returns
Alongside the new pass, September also brings back the Starlight Chest, a recurring feature for Starlight members that offers additional ways to earn rewards throughout the month. Exact contents for this run haven't been fully detailed, but its return follows the same pattern from previous Starlight cycles.
Should You Get the Pass?
For Hanzo mains specifically, this is the first real chance to grab a Starlight-exclusive look for the hero, which makes the pass an easy pick if he's a regular part of your rotation. For players who don't main Hanzo, the value comes down to how much the Crystal of Aurora, Radiant Kit, and Starlight Chest access are worth on their own, since those perks apply regardless of which hero you play most.
