Leveling Up Gratitude: Inside the New MLBB Super Like System
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is preparing a major social evolution set to reshape how players interact once the dust settles on the battlefield. Known as Super Like, this upcoming social enhancement is reportedly lined up to debut alongside the arrival of Season 42 on September 16, 2026. Following initial testing on the Advanced Server, this mechanic introduces a far more tangible, personalized way to recognize exceptional teammates compared to the casual post-match thumbs-up players have used for years.
Whether you are looking to reward a clutch Roamer who turned a lost clash around or a Jungler with pinpoint Retribution timing, the MLBB Super Like system is primed to give post-match praise serious weight.
What Is the Super Like Feature?
Traditionally, post-match recognition in MLBB has remained relatively straightforward: players tap a simple thumbs-up icon or celebrate an automated MVP badge. The Super Like mechanic elevates this concept by creating a distinct tier of social recognition that carries genuine economic and emotional value.
Instead of a generic cosmetic click, early Advanced Server testing indicates that each Super Like is tied to an in-game value equivalent to 50 Diamonds. By connecting post-match appreciation directly to premium currency value, Moonton is transforming simple team recognition into a meaningful gesture that sets outstanding teamwork apart from standard participation.
How the Mechanic Works
Based on data mined from Advanced Server rotations, the system functions through several core touchpoints:
-
Post-Match Placement: The option to grant a Super Like appears on the standard post-match scoreboard alongside traditional performance stats, giving you the choice to single out an impactful ally.
-
Premium Valuation: Current test iterations evaluate each Super Like token around a 50-Diamond equivalent, establishing a distinct divide between free, casual likes and high-value appreciation.
-
Profile Integration: Super Likes tie directly into the broader overhaul of player profile name cards rolling out in the same update cycle, allowing recipients to display their accumulated praise proudly across their accounts.
-
Recognition of Real Impact: The system is tailored to reward genuine contributions that statistics often miss, such as crisp map rotations, selfless frontline zoning, or game-winning shotcalling.
Why the Community Is Watching Closely
Ranked matchmaking has long struggled with toxicity and silent lobbies, leaving players with few tools to genuinely uplift supportive teammates. Introducing a high-stakes appreciation mechanic serves several clear objectives:
-
Incentivizing Positive Play: Offering a tangible reward encourages cooperative behavior, making players more likely to play selflessly for the team objective.
-
Meaningful Recognition: Tying appreciation to a dedicated asset ensures that praise feels earned rather than casually distributed out of habit.
-
Expanding Social Profiles: Integrating praise directly into revamped profile name cards gives competitive players a social portfolio that highlights reliability and sportsmanship.
Current Status: Advanced Server Testing
As Season 41 prepares to transition into Season 42 on September 16, 2026, the feature remains in an active preview phase. While the core framework and 50-Diamond benchmark are visible on test clients, Moonton may still adjust distribution limits, conversion mechanics, or costs before the global server deployment. Keep an eye on incoming patch notes as the seasonal rollover approaches.
