Honkai Star Rail Express Supply Pass Explained: Rewards & Jade

The Express Supply Pass is Honkai: Star Rail's 30-day monthly subscription. Buying it grants 300 Oneiric Shards immediately, then 90 Stellar Jade every day for 30 days that you must log in and claim manually. Across a full cycle that is roughly 3,000 Stellar Jade, or about eighteen Warps. If that part matters to you, Honkai goes deeper.

It is the smallest recurring purchase in the game and the one most Trailblazers ask about first, because its arithmetic is unusually transparent compared with Warp banners or Oneiric Shard bundles. The catch is that the pass is not a lump sum. It is a daily attendance mechanic, and every day you skip is Stellar Jade you simply never receive. This guide breaks down exactly what the pass delivers, when it delivers it, how the claim window behaves, how it stacks against Nameless Honor, and where it sits inside a realistic monthly Stellar Jade budget.

What is the Express Supply Pass in Honkai: Star Rail?

The Express Supply Pass is a 30-day recurring supply item sold in the in-game shop. It pays out in two parts: a one-time bundle of 300 Oneiric Shards the moment you buy it, and a daily allowance of 90 Stellar Jade that unlocks each day for the next 30 days.

Structurally it is HoYoverse's standard monthly-pass design, the same shape used in Genshin Impact's Blessing of the Welkin Moon and Zenless Zone Zero's equivalent. In Honkai: Star Rail it appears in the shop under the top-up section rather than in the Nameless Honor menu, which is a frequent source of confusion — the two products live in different places and do entirely different jobs.

Two entities matter here and they are not the same currency. Oneiric Shards are the paid currency you receive from direct purchases; they must be converted into Stellar Jade at a 1:1 rate before they can be spent on Warps. Stellar Jade is the universal spending currency, earned freely from missions, Trailblaze Missions, events, Simulated Universe, and the Assignments board. The pass gives you 300 of the former up front and 2,700 of the latter across the month.

What exactly do you receive, and on what schedule?

You receive 300 Oneiric Shards instantly on purchase, then 90 Stellar Jade per day for 30 consecutive days. If you claim all thirty days, the cycle totals 300 Oneiric Shards plus 2,700 Stellar Jade — 3,000 Stellar Jade of effective spending power once the Shards are converted.

The payout profile is worth internalising because it changes how you plan pulls:

• Day 0 (purchase): 300 Oneiric Shards, available immediately.
• Days 1–30: 90 Stellar Jade per day, each day claimed separately.
• Cycle total: 3,000 Stellar Jade equivalent, but only about 10% of it arrives on day one.

That front-loaded 300 Shards is the only portion you can spend the same evening you buy the pass. Everything else is a drip. Players who purchase the pass the night before a banner ends are frequently disappointed for exactly this reason: they expected 3,000 Jade and received 300 Shards plus one day's allowance. If your goal is a pull that must happen today, the pass is the wrong instrument — it is a month-long income stream, not an emergency top-up.

How many Warps does the Express Supply Pass actually add?

A single Warp costs 160 Stellar Jade. A fully claimed Express Supply Pass cycle of 3,000 Stellar Jade converts to 18 Warps with 120 Jade left over. The daily 90 Jade alone, claimed every day for 30 days, is 2,700 Jade — 16 Warps and 140 Jade remaining.

Put against Honkai: Star Rail's pity system, that number is easier to read. Soft pity on a limited character banner begins in the mid-seventies and the hard guarantee lands at 90 Warps. Eighteen Warps is therefore roughly one fifth of a guaranteed five-star, which means about five months of continuous pass ownership funds one hard-pity character on its own. Layered on top of free Stellar Jade income the practical effect is different: it typically converts a "one banner, maybe" month into a "one banner comfortably, occasionally two" month.

The other framing that helps is per-patch rather than per-month. Honkai: Star Rail patches run about six weeks, so one patch cycle covers roughly 42 days of pass income — around 3,780 Jade, or 23 Warps, if you never miss a claim. For a detailed picture of what free income adds on top of that, our F2P Stellar Jade income walkthrough maps the monthly free sources in the same units.

Where do you claim the daily Stellar Jade?

The daily allowance does not deposit automatically. Once the pass is active, a claim prompt appears on the main screen each day after the server reset, and you tap it to collect that day's 90 Stellar Jade. Collecting takes seconds, but it requires you to actually open the game. For the detail behind that, see HSR Nameless Honor Explained.

This is the single most important operational fact about the pass, and it is the one that separates players who feel the pass was generous from players who feel cheated. The 90 Jade is credited on a per-day basis tied to the server's daily reset, not to a rolling 24-hour timer from your last login. Server reset in Honkai: Star Rail lands at 04:00 local server time — 04:00 for the America, Europe, and Asia servers on their own clocks — which means a "day" for pass purposes ends at 04:00, not at midnight.

Practically, that has one consequence worth remembering: a late-night session that runs past 04:00 has crossed into the next pass day. Players who log in at 03:50 and again at 04:10 can claim twice in what feels like the same evening; players who log in at 20:00 on Monday and then not until 05:00 on Wednesday have skipped a claim entirely without ever feeling like they missed a day.

What happens if you miss a day or the pass expires?

A skipped day is a skipped payout. The Express Supply Pass does not bank uncollected days indefinitely and does not extend the 30-day window to compensate — the clock runs on calendar days from purchase regardless of whether you logged in. Every missed reset is 90 Stellar Jade permanently gone.

Over a full cycle the erosion is meaningful. Missing three days across a month drops your total from 3,000 to 2,730 Jade — the difference between 18 Warps and 17. Missing a week costs 630 Jade, nearly four Warps, and pushes the pass's effective return down by more than a fifth. The pass rewards routine, not enthusiasm.

When the 30 days elapse, the pass simply stops. There is no auto-renewal in the in-game purchase flow: the pass is bought as a discrete item each time, and nothing renews unless you buy it again. That is a design choice worth appreciating — you are never quietly charged — but it also means an expired pass produces no warning banner in most sessions, and players routinely go a week without noticing their daily 90 Jade has stopped appearing.

A simple habit fixes it: note the purchase date, and check the pass entry in the shop whenever you finish a patch's story content. Players who track their Jade income deliberately, as covered in our Stellar Jade saving guide, tend to catch a lapsed pass within a day or two rather than a fortnight.

Can you stack or extend the Express Supply Pass?

Yes. Buying the pass again while an existing one is still running extends the remaining duration rather than replacing it, up to the cap stated in the item's in-game description. The 300 Oneiric Shards are granted on each purchase, so repurchasing early does not forfeit that portion.

This matters for two groups of players. The first are people who want to lock in a longer runway before a patch they care about — extending early means the daily allowance is guaranteed to still be running through the banner they are saving for. The second are players in regions where payment methods are intermittently unreliable, who prefer not to leave the renewal to a specific day.

The one thing to avoid is repurchasing far ahead of the cap. Because the extension is capped, a purchase that would push the remaining duration beyond the limit is either blocked or wastes days. HoYoverse states the current cap directly in the pass's description panel in the shop, and that panel is the authoritative source — it has changed across the game's lifetime, so a number quoted in an old community guide should not be trusted over what your own shop screen says today.

How does the Express Supply Pass compare with Nameless Honor?

They solve different problems and are not substitutes. The Express Supply Pass is a 30-day currency drip that pays Stellar Jade for logging in. Nameless Honor is the patch-length battle pass that pays out materials, Star Rail Passes, Credits, and a Light Cone selector for completing missions. We cover Honkai separately.

The clearest way to hold the distinction is by what each one is actually buying:

• Express Supply Pass: raw Stellar Jade, paid daily, no gameplay requirement beyond logging in. Its output is Warps.
• Nameless Honor: progression materials, Traveler's Guides, Credits, Refined Aether, a selectable four-star Light Cone at the premium tier, and Star Rail Passes. Its output is character investment — and it requires you to grind the mission track to realise it.

Nameless Honor is priced substantially higher than the Express Supply Pass and runs on the patch calendar rather than a 30-day clock, so the two do not even expire in sync. Players who want the most Warps per unit spent generally rate the Express Supply Pass first; players bottlenecked on Credits and ascension materials rather than pulls tend to get more out of the battle pass. Our Nameless Honor rewards guide walks the full track tier by tier if that is the bottleneck you are actually facing.

How does it compare with a direct Oneiric Shard purchase?

The pass delivers far more Stellar Jade per unit of spend than any single Oneiric Shard bundle, but it delivers it over 30 days. Shard bundles deliver everything instantly. The trade is entirely between rate and immediacy, and the correct choice depends on whether you have a deadline.

The structural difference is that Oneiric Shard bundles carry a first-purchase bonus that doubles the Shards received the first time each specific bundle tier is bought. That bonus is one-time per tier, which means bundle economics are excellent once and ordinary thereafter, while the pass's rate is identical every single month. For a player already past their first-purchase bonuses, the pass is the better recurring rate by a wide margin.

The practical sequencing most established players settle on looks like this: clear the first-purchase bonuses on the bundle tiers you intend to use, keep the Express Supply Pass running continuously as background income, and reserve additional bundle purchases for the specific moments when a banner is ending and the daily drip cannot arrive in time. If you want a refresher on how the currencies convert before making any of those calls, the Honkai: Star Rail beginner's guide covers Stellar Jade, Oneiric Shards, and Warp mechanics from the ground up.

Who benefits most from the Express Supply Pass?

Daily players benefit most, and the benefit scales almost perfectly with login consistency. A player who opens the game every day to spend Trailblaze Power already has the habit the pass depends on, and collects the full 3,000 Jade without changing anything about how they play.

The player profiles break down fairly cleanly:

• Daily Trailblaze Power spenders. Full return. The claim is one extra tap inside a session that was happening anyway.
• Weekend-only players. Poor fit. Logging in twice a week forfeits roughly two thirds of the daily allowance, which collapses the pass's rate to something worse than a bundle.
• New Trailblazers still clearing Trailblaze Missions. Reasonable fit, but not urgent. Early accounts are swimming in one-time Stellar Jade rewards from story content, and that free income dwarfs the pass for the first few weeks.
• Players chasing a specific limited character. Good fit only if you start early. Bought two months before a rerun the pass contributes 36 Warps; bought two days before, it contributes two.
• Returning players catching up. Strong fit, because catch-up accounts tend to log in daily anyway to burn accumulated Trailblaze Power.

How does it fit into a monthly Stellar Jade budget?

Treat the pass as a fixed income line rather than a purchase. Its 3,000 Jade per cycle is predictable to the exact number, which makes it the most plannable component of a monthly budget — free income from events and patches fluctuates, but the pass does not.

A workable monthly plan starts by writing down three figures: guaranteed free income from dailies and Assignments, variable income from events and Simulated Universe, and the pass's flat 3,000. The first two move patch to patch; the third is constant. Because it is constant, the pass is the number you should build the plan around — it tells you the floor of what you can afford in a month where events underdeliver.

The second habit is counting in Warps rather than Jade. Jade totals in the thousands are hard to reason about; Warps map directly onto pity. Knowing that the pass is "eighteen Warps a month, every month" makes the question "can I reach 90 before this banner closes?" answerable in a few seconds, without arithmetic.

What mistakes do players most often make with the pass?

The recurring errors are all timing errors rather than judgement errors. Buying too late, missing claims, letting the pass lapse unnoticed, and confusing the pass with the battle pass account for the overwhelming majority of complaints about it.

• Buying it the day a banner ends. You get 300 Shards and 90 Jade, not 3,000. The pass cannot solve a same-day shortfall.
• Assuming the Jade auto-deposits. It does not. Unclaimed days are lost at reset with no recovery.
• Mistaking the 04:00 server reset for midnight. This quietly costs a claim or two per month for late-night players.
• Confusing the Express Supply Pass with Nameless Honor. Different menus, different prices, different reward types, different expiry clocks.
• Forgetting to renew. Nothing auto-renews, and an expired pass is close to invisible in normal play.
• Converting Oneiric Shards before you need them. Shards convert to Stellar Jade one-way; there is no reason to convert ahead of an actual pull.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Express Supply Pass renew automatically?
No. It is purchased as a discrete 30-day item each time, and it stops paying out when the 30 days end unless you buy it again.

Can I claim missed days later?
No. The daily 90 Stellar Jade is tied to each server-reset day, and a day you did not log in to claim is not recoverable.

Do the 300 Oneiric Shards count toward first-purchase bonuses?
The Express Supply Pass and the Oneiric Shard bundles are separate shop items with their own bonus rules. First-purchase doubling applies to the Shard bundle tiers, not to the pass's included Shards.

Is the Express Supply Pass shared across servers?
No. Honkai: Star Rail accounts are server-bound, and a pass bought on one server applies to that server's account only.

How many Warps is one month of the pass?
Eighteen, with 120 Stellar Jade left over, assuming all thirty daily claims are collected and the 300 Oneiric Shards are converted.
