👑 The Grand King Arrives: Ultimate SP Toru Oikawa Build for Haikyuu!! Fly High 🏐

The wait is finally over! Toru Oikawa (SP) has officially touched down in Haikyuu!! Fly High, bringing his highly anticipated School Festival version to the court. If you just pulled him—or are planning to pull him soon—you need the perfect setup to maximize his potential.

This comprehensive SP Toru Oikawa build guide breaks down his best memory, ideal potential set, and exact stat priorities. Everything here aims to harness his playmaking kit, which is widely considered S-Tier and insanely strong in the current meta.

🧠 Core Mechanics: Why SP Oikawa is S-Tier

SP Oikawa enters the game as a well-rounded setter with base stats that make him an absolute monster on the court. His entire kit is designed around buffing his allies and snowballing momentum through massive cooldown resets.

Here is how his gameplay loop turns him into a cheat code:

• The Exert Buff: At the start of a rally, Oikawa buffs his diagonal ally with "Exert," significantly raising their stats.

• Attack Rhythm: Every time that Exert-buffed ally touches the ball, your entire team gains "Attack Rhythm," which boosts team-wide awareness.

• The Reset Engine: This is where he shines. If you land an ace with his Jump Serve, his serve cooldown resets immediately. If your Exert-buffed ally scores a point, his toss cooldown resets.

• Defense Shredding: When Oikawa tosses the ball, the enemy's back-row receive stat drops. Even better, if the first spiker he sets to is his Exert ally, the enemy's front-row block drops once per set.

🎴 Best-in-Slot Memory & Potentials

To get the most out of your SP Toru Oikawa build, you need to equip him with gear that hard-boosts his Set stat and offensive flexibility.

The Exclusive Memory:

If you invest in one thing for SP Oikawa, make it his exclusive School Festival Memory. It is undeniably his best-in-slot item. This memory is uniquely tailored to boost his Set stat and directly feeds into his "Exert" winning conditions. Note: This memory is incredibly niche and not universally good on other setters. Only pull for it if you are fully committed to maining SP Oikawa!

The Optimal Potential Build:

Potential Set Pieces Strategic Benefit Precise Set 4-Piece The absolute core of his build. Grants a massive flat boost to your base Set stat and then multiplies it by a further 15%. Setter Dump 2-Piece Adds an extra 15% to his Setter Dump stat, giving you a lethal offensive option during long, drawn-out rallies. Alternative 2-Piece Precise Serve Substitute this for Setter Dump only if you want to heavily maximize the ace potential of his Jump Serve.

📊 Stat Priority Guide

Getting the exact numbers right on your gear is critical. Your goal is to push his Strength and Set stats as high as your pieces allow, hitting the hidden thresholds that make his kit function at full capacity.

🤝 Best Team Compositions

Oikawa's true power is unlocked when he is surrounded by hitters who can consistently trigger his cooldown resets. The best premium team shell for him includes:

• Primary Spikers: Hajime Iwaizumi (School Festival version) or Wakatoshi Ushijima. Both are incredible targets for the Exert buff.

• Middle Blocker: Tetsuro Kuroo provides the solid net defense needed to keep rallies alive.

• Libero: Yu Nishinoya perfectly rounds out the back line, ensuring Oikawa gets clean passes to work his magic.
