How to Earn More Broken Cores From NIKKE Co-Op Every Run
By Sir Ayup
NIKKE Co-Op is back this week, and the boss is Storm Bringer, one of the most familiar faces in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. Co-Op, officially called Coordinated Operation, puts five Commanders together against a boss that cannot be killed, and the more damage your squad deals, the more Broken Cores you earn for the Recycling Shop. At gamemarket.gg, we explain when the current Co-Op runs, how stages and rewards work, how to deal with Storm Bringer and which Nikkes to bring. We update this guide every time Co-Op returns.
When Is the Current Co-Op?
- Boss: Storm Bringer (Z.E.U.S.)
- Start: November 6, 2026, 12:00 (UTC+9)
- End: November 8, 2026, 23:59 (UTC+9)
Co-Op runs for three days and usually returns about every two weeks with a new or returning boss. You can join from Lobby > Event > Coordinated Operation.
How Co-Op Works
- Up to five players fight the same boss together
- Each player controls one Nikke, and every Nikke is automatically set to level 40, so your account's investment matters less than your choice of Nikke
- You get 30 seconds to pick your Nikke before the battle starts. Two players can pick the same Nikke, but it usually weakens the squad
- The boss cannot be killed. The battle ends when the timer runs out or the whole squad is down
- Every day brings new Special Rules, such as +10% ATK or +10% HP for Nikkes from a specific manufacturer. These reset at 05:00 (UTC+9)
Daily Attempts
You get three rewarded attempts per day, which reset at 05:00 (UTC+9). Over a three-day Co-Op, that is nine attempts in total. You can keep playing after using them, but extra runs give no rewards.
Stages and Rewards
Your squad's total damage decides the Stage you reach, from 1 to 9. Damage beyond Stage 9 counts as a bonus.
- Stage 1: up to 600,000 damage, 900 Broken Cores
- Stage 3: up to 1,400,000 damage, 940 Broken Cores
- Stage 5: up to 2,200,000 damage, 1,000 Broken Cores
- Stage 7: up to 3,100,000 damage, 1,100 Broken Cores
- Stage 9: above 3,600,000 damage, 1,200 Broken Cores
Each step between these stages adds a little more, so pushing from Stage 5 to Stage 9 is worth 200 extra Broken Cores per attempt.
Ranking Rewards
Co-Op also has a personal leaderboard based on your own best damage. At the end of the event, your rank pays out extra Broken Cores and Rusted Bones:
- Top 1 to 30: 17,000 Broken Cores and 25,000 Rusted Bones
- Top 31 to 100: 16,500 Broken Cores and 22,000 Rusted Bones
- Top 10%: 16,000 Broken Cores and 19,000 Rusted Bones
- Top 30%: 15,500 Broken Cores and 14,000 Rusted Bones
- Top 70%: 15,000 Broken Cores and 10,000 Rusted Bones
- Top 100%: 14,500 Broken Cores and 6,000 Rusted Bones
Even the lowest bracket pays out well, so one full run is worth doing just to claim your ranking reward.
The Recycling Shop
Spend Broken Cores and Rusted Bones in the Recycling Shop for items such as Gems, gifts and Good Teamwork Boxes. Unspent Broken Cores carry over to the next Co-Op, so you do not need to spend everything at once.
How to Beat Storm Bringer
In Co-Op, Storm Bringer is weak to Iron and its optimal shooting range is far, according to the official Co-Op notice. Its key mechanics, based on its appearances in Solo Raid and other modes:
- Fang Missile and Feather Missile fire from its left shoulder, and these attacks stop once that shoulder is destroyed
- Overdrive releases a magnetic field that hits every Nikke. It needs to be interrupted, or your Nikkes get stunned
- Storm Generator and Lightning Control are area attacks that hit several Nikkes at once
- Vulcan Cannon and Beam Cannon focus on a single target
Co-Op versions of a boss can behave slightly differently from Solo Raid, so treat these as a guide and watch the first attempt closely.
Which Nikkes to Bring
Since Storm Bringer is weak to Iron, Iron Nikkes are the natural pick. Units that fight well from far range, such as Sniper Rifle and Rocket Launcher users, also get the most out of the optimal range. Check the in-game notice when the event opens, since a returning boss can come back with a different setup.
If you are deciding who to pull next, our 4th Anniversary SSR overview covers the newest Nikkes. Keep in mind that the headline unit, Scarlet: Goddeath, is a Fire attacker, so she does not hit this boss's weakness.
A few things help any squad:
- Check your teammates' picks during the 30-second window and avoid doubling up on the same Nikke
- Bring a Nikke from a buffed manufacturer if you have a strong one, since the +10% buff applies only to those manufacturers
- Focus the left shoulder early to shut down the missile attacks
