❄️ Welcome to Everwinter Without Mercy Phase II

The "Everwinter Without Mercy" Phase II events preview has officially arrived for Genshin Impact Version 7.0, bringing a massive wave of activities that completely revitalizes the Snezhnaya experience. Players are immediately greeted by an array of unique challenges, rewarding those who investigate every new mechanic, from high-speed train navigation to precise target practice in the snowy wastelands. When organizing your event strategies, note that there is a file you can reference named "P".

🎯 The Great Expeditionist Challenge Minigames

Instead of standard combat grinds, Phase II introduces mechanics that blend casual minigames seamlessly with the frosty overworld. The flagship event, the "Great Expeditionist Challenge," runs from August 28 until September 14, 2026, inviting players to compete in the Adventurers' Guild Tournament.

Here are the core minigames to keep in mind when aiming for maximum Tournament Points:

Trigger Reflex Trial: A third-person shooter challenge where players use firearms to hit targets within a time limit, prioritizing grouped enemies for the highest score multiplier.
Precision Express Handling: Test your vehicle control by operating a Snezhnayan train along complex railways, requiring you to brake and steer early near junctions to avoid crashing.
Maze of Frost and Foresight: A strategic puzzle where you use special terrain-locking constructs to safely guide Little Jack Frost to the designated exit.
Roly-Poly Domain Raid: A combat-focused challenge where you build up your Snowball Level to unleash devastating snowball abilities on challenging enemy waves.

🏆 Free Diona and Endgame Updates

With the enemies in Snezhnaya boasting challenging mechanics, ensuring your party is fully built and claiming all free resources is more important than ever. Phase II does not just offer fun minigames; it brings substantial endgame refreshes and highly sought-after rewards for dedicated adventurers.

Flagship Rewards: By collecting 260 Expedition Coins in the event shop, players can invite the 4-Star Cryo character Diona for free, alongside 920 Primogems and a valuable Crown of Insight.
Imaginarium Theater Refresh: A brand new season kicks off on September 1, strictly requiring Hydro, Electro, and Dendro elemental types for successful entry.
Valiant Chronicles Series II: Three terrifying new Local Legends—Bandersnatch, Churin, and Furiosa—have been added to the overworld, rewarding the exclusive "First Snow" avatar frame to those who can defeat them.

Mastering these minigames anchors the early progression of the update, especially for players investing in new characters.
