Order Tutorial 101: Completed Order Status Explained, What Happens Next?
As the GameMarket.gg community continues to grow, ensuring a transparent, secure, and seamless transaction process for both buyers and sellers remains our highest priority. Whether you are a first-time buyer or a seasoned trader on our platform, understanding the lifecycle of your transaction is crucial.
Today, we are diving deep into the final—and arguably most important—stage of your purchasing journey: the "Completed" order status. What exactly does it mean, how do you get there, and what should you do once an order is finished? Let’s break it down.
What Does "Completed" Really Mean?
In the GameMarket.gg ecosystem, a "Completed" order means that the transaction has officially reached its successful conclusion.
When an order enters this final state, the payment that was securely held in our system is formally released and forwarded directly to the seller. Because this step involves the definitive transfer of funds, it serves as the absolute end of the transaction lifecycle.
Important Note: Due to the finality of the fund disbursement, a completed order cannot be canceled, reversed, or refunded under any circumstances. This ensures financial security and trust for both parties involved.
How Does an Order Reach the Completed Status?
An order doesn't just magically finish on its own; it follows a clear progression. Once a seller has handed over the account or asset and updated the status to "Delivered," the order is ready to be finalized.
There are two pathways for an order to move from Delivered to Completed:
1. Manual Completion (The Fast Track)
The most efficient way to finalize a transaction is for the buyer to manually complete it. Once you have received your item, verified that everything matches the description, and secured the item, you simply click the button to transition the order from Delivered to Completed.
-
Why this matters: Manually completing the order immediately releases the funds to the seller. By doing this promptly, you actively support the sellers on our platform, helping them access their hard-earned money without unnecessary delays.
2. Automatic Completion (The Safety Net)
We understand that sometimes buyers secure their new items and simply forget to log back in to finalize the order. To protect our sellers and guarantee they get paid for their prompt deliveries, GameMarket.gg features an automated completion system.
-
How it works: If an order remains in the Delivered status and the buyer does not respond or take action, the system will automatically mark it as Completed after a predefined window. Depending on the specific game market's regulations, this auto-completion window ranges from 3 to 30 days. This system provides sellers with absolute certainty regarding exactly when their funds will clear, ensuring a fair and predictable marketplace.
The Power of Your Feedback
Once the order is officially completed, the transaction might be over, but your voice still matters. Buyers are immediately given the opportunity to leave feedback and rate their experience with the seller.
Are reviews mandatory?
No, leaving a review is entirely optional. However, we highly encourage you to take a few seconds to drop a rating.
Your feedback is the lifeblood of GameMarket.gg. Not only does it help fellow gamers make informed purchasing decisions, but it also provides our internal team with critical data. By leaving honest reviews, you directly assist us in monitoring seller quality, rewarding top-tier vendors, and maintaining a safe, premium marketplace environment for everyone.
